Please ignore this, I found an alternative method and uploaded the plugin directly through my website hosting provider.

Geolocation problem. Hi, I purchased this plugin and was under the assumption that prices would convert based on our customers’ locations around the globe. However, I checked this using a VPN (location: France) and the currency does not switch based on the IP. Am I missing something to allow the base United States (USD) currency to automatically convert to France’s currency when visiting the site?

Also, why am I only able to list a few currencies instead of all currencies available under the currencies tab? I just need to be able to convert the prices in my store from USD to whatever the currency is of the user visiting my site. We are able to ship to all countries, so we need to be able to convert USD to all available currencies.

Hi there—Is there a way to show the currency code before or after the rate, so people know throughout the Cart-Checkout process, what currency they are in?

Hi there,

Thanks for the purchase!

Hmm, I’m not sure I understand… Currency symbol is always showed next to the price, so customer is always aware of what price he/she is browsing in. You can change the currency symbol to currency code, for example change $ to USD to make sure user is 100% sure what currency it is.

Yup, got it! That worked.

Great, thanks for letting me know!

After you have tested the plugin and you are happy with it, I would appreciate if you could leave a rating :-) You can do this in Download section of your CodeCanyon account by clicking stars next to the plugin – http://codecanyon.net/downloads

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask, I will do my best to help you out.

HI, Before purchase there is one question, My default currency is LKR (Sri Lankan rupees) but Paypal not support this currency, so i want to display all in LKR but checkout time i need to automatically convert to USD, is this possible ?

Hi there,

Thanks for the comment!

You would need to set USD as base currency and specify all prices in USD. Then you can use conversion mode just for user’s reference, so the user will see prices in LKR, but checkout and payment will be in base currency (USD). You can use my cheaper plugin for this – https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-all-in-one-currency-converter/11519287

Here is a demo with converting just for user’s reference – http://wcaiocc-demo1.dev49.net/shop/

Hi there,

No, I’m afraid I do not have any alternative for you, rather than using regular WooCommerce variations. So sorry about that :( If this makes plugin unusable to you, please keep in mind you can have it returned. I’m sorry, but integration with any plugin of this type is not possible at this moment :(

Daniel Wroblewski

Hi Daniel, Thanks for that and sorry for the delay in coming back to you, unfortunately I couldnt find a solution to get it working with product addons and would kindly ask for a refund please. Thanks a mill. Gary Ellard

Hello,

Thank you for the purchase.

Unfortunately, I have not tested my plugin with the DHL plugin and I cannot guarantee such compatibility, as it is not mentioned in my plugin’s description :(

If this makes my plugin unusable for you, please keep in mind that you can return the plugin.

Hello! When I install plugin – site starts working not very fast. I meen – when I click in the buttom – Buy Now – > https://bitebooster.eu/en/ it’s waiting at least 10 seconds… And when I switching a currency on this page – https://bitebooster.eu/en/product/model-trolling-plus-s/

also waiting for ~ 5-10 seconds before change.

What is it?

Hi there,

Thanks for the purchase!

The plugin may slow down a website if there are many products loaded at the same time on one page and they have many variations. This is the main reasons of sites underperforming with the plugin activated.

If this makes my plugin unusable for you, please keep in mind that you can return the plugin.

I am sorry my plugin did not allow you to use your website the way you wanted to.

Hi, your plugin is working wonderfully, I only have a question regarding the currency symbol. When writing notes about money, I would like to have a [CSY] shortcode that replaces the currency symbol in the paragraph (or title lol) with the currently selected one. How would I go about constructing that shortcode to make it update proof? Kind regards, SVTX

Hi there,

Thank you! I’m glad you like it.

Basically the shortcode would have to call WooCommerce

get_woocommerce_currency_symbol()
function. When using Multi Currency Suite in conversion for checkout and payment, it basically changes the WooCommerce currency for current session, so you can call any WooCommerce currency function and it will be valid.

Please checkout basics of creating shortcodes – https://codex.wordpress.org/Shortcode_API
And just return the

get_woocommerce_currency_symbol()
function as a shortcode.

Hi there,

I’m using 2 payment gateways along with your plugin, paypal and one called UPG When I use Paypal your currency switcher works correctly, when I use UPG is always sends the base Woocommerce currency! UPG are not very helpful so I wondered if you could point me in the right direction

Their plugin is located here https://github.com/upgplc/cart_legacy_woocommerce

I think the line I need to change is this in upg.php $transactionData[‘transactioncurrency’] = get_woocommerce_currency();

Can you suggest what to change it to? Unfortunately I’m used to .Net and not php or Wordpress!

Thanks

Fixed my own problem (after reading the code from your plugin!)

Changed $transactionData[‘transactioncurrency’] = get_woocommerce_currency(); to $transactionData[‘transactioncurrency’] = $order->get_order_currency();

:)

Hi there,

Great, exactly, this is the way to do it! :D

Hey, i just bought your plugin and install it on my client website.

I’m facing an issue: The reports sections (in my dashboard and in “Reports” under “WooCommerce”) show me 0 when your plugin is active. But when i deactivate it, everything return to normal.

Can you please help my with this issue ?

Hi there,

Thanks for the purchase!

It is because of multi-currency reporting support. If user places order in other currencies, they will be converted to your base currency for the reporting so that you can analyze your financial data. However, this only works for orders placed after you activated the plugin. For older orders, it will just show 0, because this meta field for order is not filled.

You can disable this in Advanced section of plugin settings by unticking the “Show WooCommerce Reports data in base currency” field. This, however, will reveal an issue when you analyze multi-currency orders. For example, if your base currency is USD and report contains EUR orders as well, 100 USD + 200 EUR, will equal 300 USD in the reporting, because it only takes into account the value, not the currency.

There is a migration tool available through this link https://yourwebsite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-settings&tab=multi_currency_suite&section=developer_features

Pressing the button will run a migration tool that will fill your old orders with required data. Please keep in mind that this is an experimental not supported feature. Make sure you backup your database before performing it, it is VERY important. This feature is only for developers/advanced users who know what they’re doing and are able to resolve any database issues caused by it :)

Hi, our shop’s default currency is USD, as such the currency symbol is default to the ”$” sign and cannot be changed to the “USD” symbol using your built in UI. We manage to use a functions script to change the product price display to USD, but cannot get the currency switcher widget to display the same. It is still ”$”. Is there a way to change that too?

It is important because the $ is quite commonly used in many other countries for their own currencies.

Hi there,

So sorry for the delay! The 9999 makes sure that it is the last filter executed on this value. This is a pretty safe way to do it, it’s just disabled in plugin configuration due to couple of reasons. But you can safely use it in the code as I shown you.

Thanks for the reply. However, you have not mentioned how to change the ”$” sign in the currency switcher to “USD”. The code, whether the one you suggested or the one I previously used, changes only the currency symbol in the product display, not the switcher UI.

Hmm, interesting! It should change it as well.

i installed the plugin couple of days ago and every day i get an email with “currency exchange rate update failed” as the subject. This is the error message :

“Error occured while updating your currencies exchange rates. The following currencies were not updated: USD, EUR, GBP, AUD. Please go to WooCommerce Ultimate Multi Currency Suite settings and try changing the API for listed currencies.”

When i login to wp i don’t see any errors. in the exchange rate section i have “automatically update exchange rates once a day” selected. The “Currency exchange rate API” is set to yahoo finance. i have to click “update now” manually to get the updates!!

Please help.

Hello, quick question, is there any giftcard plugin that is compatible? Have you tested with any? Thank you

Hi!

I have installed your WooCommerce Ultimate Multi Currency Suite and it seems very promising.

I would like to display the ‘currency switch’ in the top bar of my web page, where unfortunately is no widget area (in my theme).

Is there a way to do this? I contacted the author of my theme and he asked if implementation via a menu item was possible. So this is now my question to you: can I add the Currency Suite as a menu item?

At the moment I can only display it in in a footer – not the best place..

Thank you very much in advance.

Best wishes, Maaike

Hi there,

Thanks for the purchase!

You can manually add each currency to menu. Go to Advanced section in my plugin settings and set currency switch GET parameter to “currency”, for example. This will allow you to switch currency via URL. For example: “http://yourwebsite.com/?currency=EUR” will switch currency to EUR. You can link just to ”?currency=EUR” or ”?currency=USD”. You have to do it manually for each currency.

Hi, is this compatable with “Paid Member Subscriptions” plugin, ie when members are shown a reduced price will it still convert correctly?

Also, the same question as above from ‘TylerTrowbridge’:- Is this plugin current and working bug free with WooCommerce 3.1.x?

Thanks in advance

Hi there,

No, I’m afraid it may not be compatible. I can’t guarantee such compatibility.

It’s fully compatible with WooCommerce 3.1.x.

Hi there,

Thank you for the purchase!

It is possible that for some reason my server is blocking requests from your server. Could you set me up an admin account? I would take a look at what’s going on. Please send the login details directly to me via contact form in my user profile page – https://codecanyon.net/user/dev49net

Please also include your purchase code.

P.S. Even without activating with purchase code, my plugin is 100% functional and you can keep using it. Purchase code activation is needed only to receive automatic plugin updates. Other than that, all features are working.

Hi,

I have messaged you directly as well concerning www.nordic-tales.com

I bought a new license but I am having the same problem.

every time I activate the plugin the site crashes. It happened the first time just after updating the plugin.

This is a shot in the dark :

On our wordpress it says : As of June 22, 2016 Google Maps no longer allows request for new projects that doesn’t include an API key. Dismiss

Could it be the geolocator in your app that is causing troubles?

Best Regards Jonas

Hi there,

Well, thanks for the purchase!

Hmm, no, I do not use Google Maps. The geolocation mechanism is exactly the same as the one used in WooCommerce itself.

I’m afraid there must be some incompatibility within your environment which causes my plugin to crash. I assume this makes plugin unusable to you. Please keep in mind that in such case you can apply for a refund. Here is a refund guide – https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/202821460-Can-I-Get-A-Refund-
