Hi, I have a store which has more than 1000 abandoned carts per day. I was using Abandoned Carts for Woocommerce wordpress plugin and a major issue I was facing is that the database size because of abandoned carts beibg recorded grew rapidly.
1. Does your plugin work well with stores having over 1000 carts being created per day? Does it have a high cpu/memory requirement with a high volume store?
2. Is there an option to set timely deletion of abandoned carts being recorded by the plugin? For example- can we set every cart abandoned 4 days before to be deleted automatically from the database
1. It is difficult to say without testing. If you need a testing copy of the plugin to check for testing purpose, please contact our support by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
2. This option is available.
Thanks, will contact you shortly on this mail link
What cron job server side do I need to set up?
E.g: wget -O /dev/null https://www.example.com/wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron > /dev/null 2>&1
We have given detailed information about Server Cron configuration in our documentation. You can check for your reference.

Hi could you update the plugin to be GDPR compliant?
Right now the plugin sends an email to the potential customer without their consent, which will be illegal after the 25th of May if it concerns EU users.
Would be great if you could either add a consent checkbox next to the email, or discuss with some of the GDPR plugin devs to integrate with their solutions: https://wordpress.org/plugins/gdpr/
For your information we do have our own GDPR Plugin https://codecanyon.net/item/gdpr-compliance-suite-wordpress-plugin/21886762
We are using the existing WooCommerce field for the email id and we will continue to monitor if WooCommerce adds the checkbox and we will provide an update once we get more clarity on this.
Awesome, I will check it out! Thanks
Heya! The Cart Recovery Link: Does it also work cross-browser/ device?
E.g. User abandons cart on desktop (e.g Chrome) -> Later, user opens Email on Iphone (e.g. Safari) and clicks on Cart Recovery Link. -> Will the cart be pre-populated with the items previously left in the cart? Cheers W
Yes, it will work on the scenario[cross-browser/device] as you explained.

I found an issue with the plugin. Imagine a product that has 5 possible attributes, e.g. a T-shirt with different sizes. But there are only 2 product variations, e.g. XXXL and all other sizes. When a customer orders one, he will get the price accordingly, and the order shows me which size he selected.
But your plugin seems to store only the variation nr. and other details are lost, so if the customer recovers the order later, I can’t see the size (except if it was XXXL that has its own variation nr.).
It is hard to say without checking on your site. Please contact our support at http://fantasticplugins.com/support by opening a ticket, so that our support team can check and let you know.
Can you let me know if the search function issue has been fixed in the latest version of the plugin? I have discovered the same issue as follows: the search function runs a double wildcard LIKE clause on every single record in the postmeta table…Then it joins on usermeta twice So, it’s going to generate every possible permutation of postmeta with usermeta two times and then have to scan that whole recordset for what was searched for!
This crashes my site and causes a 500 server error.
P.S. GDPR kicks in on 25th. Are you releasing a compliant version?
- For getting server error issue, please contact our support at http://fantasticplugins.com/support by opening a ticket. Our support team can check and let you know.
- We are currently checking regarding GDPR compliance with our plugin and will update soon.
We’ve been using this plugin for the past several days and noticed that emails keep triggering when recipients click the link in the email but they do not check out. To illustrate: visitor abandons cart > email triggers within 24 hours > recipient clicks link in email to visit cart > exits without checking out > email triggers again within 24 hours. We’ve tested this with several of our internal accounts, the email triggered every time we clicked the link but didn’t finish checkout. The email should really trigger only once. Is there an option or setting we’re missing?
Hello is the plugin GDPR Compliant?
We are currently working on the GDPR Compliance. We will release an update shortly.
Is it possible to block sending emails either to members and guests, just until we know what to do with the RPGD? I can’t unckeck both options just one but i like to know whats happening in the backend adn see if they are unfinished orders.
Please follow the steps to configure the settings such that both Members and Guests will not receive Abandoned Cart email,
Go to Dashboard -> Recover Abandoned Cart -> Settings -> General -> Email Settings
- Uncheck Send Email to Members checkbox
- Uncheck Send Email to Guests checkbox
- Save the settings
In this case, the email will not be sent to both Members and Guests. But it will capture the abandoned carts in the Cart List Table.

Hi just to double confirm. When guest(s) click add cart button will the pop-up box appear? That is the main reason why I purchase this plugin anyway. Looks like you need to be a member for the pop to appear?
This feature(pop-up box) is applicable only for Guest Users. Follow the steps to configure the settings,
Go to Dashboard -> Recover Abandoned Cart -> Advanced Settings -> Add to Cart Popup Settings for Guest
Is it possible to change the product image size on the recover email?
As of now, it is not possible in this plugin. We will bring it out in our future updates.
Hello. If a guest adds an item to cart and the email popup appears, is the email address entered then passed on to Woocommerce checkout/account creation page, or does guest have to re-enter email?Thank you.
In this case, the email id will be prefilled in the checkout form.

Can we restrict or configure certain email templates based on the product(s) the user has in their cart? For example, if we sell “Subscriptions” and also regular “Products”. Or different tiers of the same product.

Go to Recover Abandoned Cart -> Email Templates -> Edit Template
- Select Product(s) in Cart in Segmentation drop-down
- Select Include Product in Product Selection drop-down

Hello, I have a pre-purchase question. I had the same issue as another person has had with woocommerce abandoned cart plugin where it would create so many file in the temp directory and there would eventually be so many files that would not be deleted automatically and the site would crash. Does your plugin prevent this from happening?
As far as we know this kind of issue has not occurred in our plugin.
If you need plugin files for testing purpose, you can contact our support by email to email@example.com.
Will the plugin work with Woocommerce 3.4.1 and wordpress 4.9.6 ?
Yes, it will work. Thanks.
Entered my details then abandoned the cart, its been over an hour and no email, does this demo no longer work due to gdpr etc
Please check the spam folder to see if the email landed there. If you need our Plugin files for testing, please email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
nothing came thru, not to junk or any spam folders, no email at all.
Attempted just entering email address to allow capture first, and nothing happened, tried hour later with email, and address name etc, then going to final stage to pay, and still noting happened
tried again in meantime, and clearing cache etc, still no email received for abandoning
Our support team has emailed you with more details. Please check and follow up there.
I change the php version to 7.2 and now we have this notices:
PHP Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /home/tikabo/public_html/wp-content/plugins/rac/inc/fp-rac-common-functions.php on line 143
Can you fix it?
We have fixed this issue from our side. Please contact our support at http://fantasticplugins.com/support by opening a ticket, so that our support team can send you a development version to check.
Ok, will do, thanks!
hi, i’m wondering if it’s possibile to send the recovering emails based on cart amount, something like: “if the cart’s amount is higher than X, then send the email template A with a coupon” or “if the cart’s amount is lower than Y (that in my shop is the threshold for the free shipping), then send the email template B with a text remainding the customer that he’s near to the gain the free shipping”.
Yes, it is possible to configure the settings as per your requirement using this plugin. Please follow the steps to configure,
Go to Dashboard -> Recover Abandoned Cart -> Email Templates
- Create two email templates[eg. Email Template A and Email Template B]
- Edit the corresponding email template and select Abandoned Cart Total in Segmentation option
- Select Minimum Cart Amount and set the value in Email Template A to send the email if the cart amount is higher than X.
- Select Maximum Cart Amount and set the value in Email Template B to send the email if the cart amount is lower than X.
