I agree with others who have requested the option to only send an abandoned cart email to those who haven’t previously placed an order. Otherwise, some customers will learn to always abandon a cart and then wait for the discount.

Hi, Could you add an option to verify email addresses using https://kickbox.io/email-verification for example, before storing the cart? This would really help reduce bounce rates and ensure better deliverability.

neverbounce.com also has an API and free verification quotas.

hi, does this plugin catch emails if the user is not logged in? So how its in this “Abandoned Cart Pro for WooCommerce” plugin. When customer press cart he needs to add his email. So each guest is saved in DB. Thanks

Hello, I would like to say first that you guys are doing a fantastic job helping eCommerce entrepreneur like me to succeed. I am a customer and would like to suggest to add a SMS cart recovery feature that can use an SMS service like twilio. It can be set up to send the text message after a certain time just like the the email. It can have a automatic discount link fro the customer to get a discount of the product on the cart along with the discount code. I believe that can be a great feature and will bring a lot value to the customers. If you want to discuss please don’t hesitate to contact me.

I noticed in an old comment thread here, that previously for the emails to fire the website had to be manually loaded or the server would need a manual cron file. Has this been resolved so that emails fire automatically without extra steps required? Thx

There are two types of Cron were provided,

1. WP-Cron – Cron will trigger only when the user visits the site

2. Server Cron – Cron will trigger automatically

So, Cron will trigger based on the Cron type using and an email will send to users accordingly.

1. It is not necessary to use third-party email services in order to send emails. By using the email server of the website, emails will be sent. If you wish, you can also use third-party email services to send emails.

2. Please note the following information,

- For logged in users, the cart will be captured once they add the items to cart.

- For Guest, the cart will be captured once they entered their valid email id at checkout form.

- The captured cart will get abandoned based on the Abandoned Time settings configured.

- An email will be sent to the users based on the cron time settings and email send duration settings configured.

Hi. Does the plugin offer an ability to send users who complete checkout (or a portion of it) without paying, a unique link that contains their order detail (customer payment page)?

Orders that have not been paid for have unique links that take users to customer payment page in this format:

website.com/checkout/order-pay/1111?pay_for_order=true&key=wc_order_5a4f5259798c8

Hi,

The URL format which you have mentioned is used for making payments for orders which were already created.

In WooCommerce Recover Abandoned Cart, an order will not be created for abandoned purchases. The Order details will be captured and when the user clicks the link in the email, the products will again be added to the cart from where they will have to complete the purchase.

When customers add an item to cart, popup an alert to ask them to enter their email address. Once done, item is successfully added to cart

Can this plugin do the above? This way, we will have more email addresses to make the abandoned cart emails work better.

Hi, I tried sending several emails, some of them fall into spams.

In Gmail it said “Gmail couldn’t verify that the sender is actually sent this message”. I chose Woocommerce instead of Local.

Please advise as how to increase the deliverability & the better configuration (such as verification) so that it can safely land in inbox. Thanks.

Hi, fantastic plugin from FantasticPlugins, thank you for building it. Question: is there any way to change link color for Unsubscribe to the same color you’ve set for Cart Link Color? Right now the Cart Link Color is set to custom purple, but the Unsubscribe is the default blue. Happy to edit plugin files if you can point me in the right direction and will fix again whenever you issue an update.

Hey there, question – we have a fully custom design HTML email which we’d like to use for our Email Templates. Can this be achieved on your plugin?

I am trying to configure by adding the HTML into the “Text” input section but there is a big empty header block and it’s coming out poorly.

Can this be achieved? Perhaps by referencing a Customer WooCommerce email template?
