Hi Phil!

Quick prepurchase questions

1. Does this work with variable items? For example, a hairdryer with 2 color. I want to be able to display the price of the entire variation product as “Call for Pricing”.

2. Can I bulk edit as I have multiple items to change. Both simple and variable products.

3. Can I do a global message like change price to “Call for Pricing” if price = 0 ?

Thank you!

Best regards, Nelson

Hi Nelson.

Thanks for your questions.

1. Yes you can change the price for the whole hairdryer which will replace the ‘From $$’ price you’d see by default.

2. Yes – you can bulk edit the price label using the standard WordPress and WooCommerce bulk editor at the top of your list of products.

3. You would need to change each product where the price was 0, but this is easy to do using the bulk editor.

Hope this answers your questions :-)

Hi Phil! I’ve just purchased the plugin. I think it’s really awesome!

One minor issue tho. When I bulk edit some of my products, it doesn’t show the label. It will only show when I go into each product manually to update it.

Apologies – I’ll try and replicate the error over the weekend here and see if I can work out what’s happening.

In the meantime – please could you send me the versions of WooCommerce and WordPress that your site is using?

Many thanks Phill

Getting this error:

WordPress database error You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ’’ at line 1 for query INSERT INTO sny_woocommerce_tax_rate_locations ( location_code, tax_rate_id, location_type ) VALUES made by do_action(‘woocommerce_page_wc-settings’), call_user_func_array, WC_Admin_Menus->settings_page, WC_Admin_Settings::output, WC_Admin_Settings::save, do_action(‘woocommerce_settings_save_tax’), call_user_func_array, WC_Settings_Tax->save, WC_Settings_Tax->save_tax_rates made by do_action(‘wp_ajax_woocommerce_price_labeller_autocomplete’), call_user_func_array, Woocommerce_Price_Labeller->autocomplete LIMIT 0, 10 ORDER BY COUNT DESC, m.meta_value ASC GROUP BY m.meta_value AND m.meta_value LIKE ‘Call for Availability and Price – 111-111-1111%’ AND p.post_type = ‘product’ WHERE m.meta_key = ‘_price_label’ INNER JOIN wp_posts AS p ON m.post_id = p.ID

Looks to be related to this plug in. Please advise.

Actually, this is a page where I’ve been using the Labeller

Bump . . .

also getting this error

made by do_action(‘wp_ajax_woocommerce_price_labeller_autocomplete’), call_user_func_array, Woocommerce_Price_Labeller->autocomplete LIMIT 0, 10 ORDER BY COUNT DESC, m.meta_value ASC GROUP BY m.meta_value AND m.meta_value LIKE ’$35 Pre-Registration/$50 On-site%’ AND p.post_type = ‘product’ WHERE m.meta_key = ‘_price_label’ INNER JOIN wp_posts AS p ON m.post_id = p.ID FROM `wp_postmeta` AS m

on this page

Unfortunately I can’t replicate the error on a standard WordPress 4.0, WooCommerce and Price Labeller installation which tells me it’s probably a conflict with another plugin or something I can’t see that’s different in your hosting environment.

Your error message tells me that it’s probably something related to the autocompletion function which attempts to suggest other similar price labels when you start typing into the open field.

Please could you try adding the following code into your theme’s functions.php file which will disable the autocomplete function:

    array( Woocommerce_Price_Labeller::$instance, 'autocomplete' )

Thanks Phill

So I just purchased this plugin but it does NOT appear to support variable products. I want to apply a label like “Please call for a custom quote” on only one of my product variations. This plugin appears to work on the whole product and that doesn’t fit my needs at all.

1 product has 3 variations. Variation 1 has a price of $19.99. Variation 2 has a price of 49.99 and variation 3 should say “Please call for custom quote.

Am I just not seeing it?

Hello? I need support please.

So apparently paying customers cannot get any help for this product. I have to say, probably the worst buying experience I’ve had on Code Canyon. I’ve asked for a refund.

I am sorry you are not happy with the level of support. As you will see by the comment history, I will get back to everyone as soon as I can, but I can’t guarantee how long this will take.

The plugin does not allow for an individual price label per variant as you describe but you can override the price that’s displayed on variable products as a whole (usually in the format From $xx on most themes)

I hope this answers your question and please let me know if you have any other queries.

Best regards

Hi can I use your plugin to label image other than product image?

Hey. Not sure I completely understand your question but the plugin only affects the price field, not the image fields

Just to clarify. This can be used global and on product level?

Hey. Thanks for your question. Labels can be applied to every product using the bulk editor.

Can it be used to change Units of Measure?

So we could have 8.49 SF or 8.49 PER PIECE

Yes. You’d simply set that in the price label field against the product.

Hello Phil,

I bought this plugin last year. but didnt managed to understand how it acutally works on product page.

It does show price label on product listing page. but it doesnt show anything on product page itself. can you please explain how to replace price with something like “call us in store” on product page.

It should work out the box on the product page providing your theme is using the standard WooCommerce API. Please could you try resetting the theme to twentyfifteen and let me know if you’re having the same issue?

Thanks Phill, is the website. can you give me ur email address so I can send u screenshots of what I’m talking about

This plugin is working fine. but its not showing the label on Single Product page.

Check this “York Quest Rower” on

That’s exactly what we’re looking for.

Can we expect an update so the plugin will work with woocommerce 2.3 and wordpress 4.1? Or is it actually working and the “Compatible With”-list is outdated?

It would be nice if the changed price label also appears during checkout at all times.

As I understand it show’s only in shop and product pages?

Does it work with latest Woo version and WP version ?

Thanks for Support

Any chance this works with the Subscriptions plugin from WooCommerce? Unfortunately i bought before reading through the comments and seeing that it wasn’t officially supported.

WooCommerce’s subscription plugin uses the most difficult language in the world to understand.

Hi, The plugin works. However, ‘Price label position’ dropdown doesn’t seem to be available? Have disabled all other plugins (which are up-to-date) without change. Am using Avada theme – any ideas?

i need to know if this field appear on each individual varitaion, because some variation will have price and 1 or 2 will not have a price, and i need to show the message only for them

Ditto previous comment. Are you still supporting this plugin ? Also, can you make the plugin options available/viewable on “Bundled products” ? I have to switch to “simple product” – enter the text – switch back to “bundles” then save. Quite a hassle with 50 over products!

Thank you sir

In the back end on the products list page in the column “Price” the price is overwritten by the “Price label” when Price labelled is used. Is there a way to keep the regular price showing on the product list page? Thanks

Are you still supporting this plugin? I have purchased it (giving you my money) and it does not work. I have installed on Woocommerce 2.5.5/WP 4.5.2.

When I go to the product edit screen and enter text into “PRICE LABEL”, select ” REPLACE PRICE” and select check boxes “SHOP LISTING” and “SINGLE PRODUCT”. Then I update product page. When I go to live page, nothing has changed. I still see price and quantity wheel along with ADD TO CART button.

Please help. I really appreciate any assistance you can provide.

Price label not working on single product page
