Does this actually hide the products held within a password protected category so they don’t appear in the main shop page?
Hi,
Our plugin does not hide the product from listing pages, the Product Name, and the image is shown with the Password Protected Button instead of add to cart, so when someone clicks on the product it will be redirected to the password page.
but if you need we can hide password protected products from listing pages.
Yes having the particular items viewable in the main shop area would be an issue. I purchased the WooCommerce plugin similar to yours and it doesn’t hide the product either which I find bizarre to be honest. Would it take much to hide them completely and only have them viewable in the actual category only?

HI,
About your first question, you can create different rules and in each rule select different category and set password for that rule, in this way you can assign different password(s) to each category.

Are you able to password protect a product and allow ANY visitor to see the product with the password with out being logged in? Most that I have tried so far requires the user to be logged into an account for your site in order to be able to see the product after entering password.
Hi,
Yes you can password protect a product and any visitor who has the correct password can see the product and it does not requires user login.
Well, I tried out your plugin. It does password protect the product, but if you enter the password and are not logged into an account it just stays on the page. If you are logged in to an account it works perfect.

Hi, are the password protected categories and associated products, hidden from public view until the password is entered? Thank you.
Hi,
You have both options in our module, you can show password protected button instead of add to cart and you can also completely hide products for the public view until correct password is entered.
