Hey! My customers buy my products in three Size variations and send two of them back. I would like to prevent this shopwide for 30.000 Products. Can this be done with the plugin? Is this done by database? I mean, Do i have to mark every product or can i restrict shopwide just by activating the plugin? Kind regards from Germany :-)

Hi,

We have released the v1.1 where the Limit Product Purchase Count check is also made in the current order. We have the Bulk Update option to update for all Products at once (though it might take a little while since you shop is a big one).

We believe this Plugin should work for you.

Thanks.

Hi,

Could I use your plugin to prevent people from buying more than one of a product in total, rather than per order?

I recently tried a similar plugin and it was useless because I could circumvent it using the WooCommerce reorder function (My Account > View Recent Orders > Order Again). Does your plugin account for this?

I wasn’t sure from looking at your screenshots. When further purchases cannot be made, is the Add to cart button disabled?

Finally, do you know if your plugin works with the WooTickets plugin?

Thanks,

rt.

Hi,

You can limit the Product Purchase Count taking into account the Member’s Purchase history. Making another order will not allow the Member to Purchase more than what Count you have set.

An error message will be thrown on the Cart page when the Member tries to purchase more than the limit set.

We don’t know about compatibility with WooTickets as we haven’t tested with it. Please assume it isn’t compatible.

Thanks.

Thank you for the prompt response.

There is a problem with this plugin. You seem to be using a field called total_sales. This field is also being used by another plugin.

What is happening is that every time a product gets purchased the total_sales field is increased, but at the same time your plugin is using this field to track the number of products you can order. Which means it never works because the limit keeps increasing all the time every time a product is purchased.

I just found there was a conflict with a Woo plugin that prevented the limits from being imposed.

However there is still a problem with the total_sales field because it keeps showing the limit increasing all the time. Can you rename this field so it does not conflict, like put your own prefix before it?

Hi,

We checked and we are unable to find total_sales field in the Plugin. Can you please recheck and let us know the exact field name.

Thanks.

Hi, the plugin does not work well with Password protector. What is the work around? http://codecanyon.net/item/product-password-protector-woocommerce/7481489

Hi,

We haven’t tested with this Plugin and we are not sure about what your problem is. If you want us to check it out then please proceed through the support ticket. If you want a refund then you can open a support ticket with envato as envato only handles the payments and refunds.

Thanks.

Hi,

I’m just wondering if this plugin allows you to limit total amount of items in a cart.

Cheers

Hi,

There is no such option.

Thanks.

Hi there,

Congratulations on a great product! We have a query regarding our requirements. I am wondering if you would have the facility to limit Product B based on the Amount of Product A in the shopping cart?

E.G. A User buys 2 of Product A therefore they are not allowed to buy 3 of Product B

Many Thanks For your time and Help in this matter

Cathal

Hi,

Thanks for the kind words.

The feature you are looking for is not available in this Plugin unfortunately.

Thanks.

Hi,

I have a pre-sales question. Is it possible to reset the count limit automatically after a certain time has passed? So if a restricted product is purchased in January 2015 and a customer can only buy a count of 5, if he purchases 4 in March, then he is not allowed to purchase anymore until January 2016. Is this possible?

All the best, Ibraheem

Hi,

Sorry, there is no such option in this Plugin.

Thanks.

Hi,

Would it be possible to add this feature?

Thanks.

Hi,

We don’t have any plans to add this feature. Sorry.

Thanks.

Is this plugin still works?

Yes, it will work.

Thanks.

hi,

Can limit total amount of category in 3 days? For example a user can only buy 1 category product in 3 days, he can buy other product of this category again after 3 days.

Thanks

Sorry, this kind of option isn’t available in this Plugin. Thanks.
