Nice, but shedule hours and minutes too?
No, sorry, the schedule is only daily.
Does not work at all. Doesn’t even show up in the sidebar menu. Listed as activated in the plugins menu, but that’s it, nothing else.
Have you set the rules for scheduling featured products?
Just to clear things up, we have provided the demo and it works, also Envato must have tested the plugin before it’s published. So if you don’t know how to do the settings, please ask first before giving bad rating. Thank you.
There is nowhere to set the rules at all. Period. Like I said, it shows as active and nowhere in any menu item is there anyplace to set rules at all. I’m not an idiot. There is NO menu item at all that allows setting any rules. Not in Promotions, Mini Features, Media, Pages, Comments, Feedback, Woocommerce, Products, Customers, Appearance, Users, Tools or Settings. The only place that shows it even exists is the Plugins page where there are no settings of any kind, just the indication that it is installed and active.
Please send me access to admin panel via my profile so we can check it further.
Sorry, deleted it and don’t plan to repurchase.
is it possible to work with WooCommerce booking?
Make the plugin, make a book featured, just 1 week before the book expires?
Unfortunately the plugin doesn’t have such a feature.
Hi! I am endeavoring to get the featured products scheduler working – I see the menu in admin fine, I can set up a rule fine … but it does nothing. I tried uninstalling ALL plugins bar it and woocommerce … still did nothing.
Am I missing something?
Ok so I just tried “run rules manually” and it worked – but why did it not work automatically?
Your new rules should be applied automatically starting on the next day. Please wait until the next day and see if it works.
I have a webshop with some featured products (new-products) and rather than going in to the product and disable the featured option for every product, I want something smarter that can automatical do this for me.
E.g all featured(new) products will be removed/disabled as featured/new product after 14days.
Can your plugin do this for me?
Thanks in advance,
Yes, this plugin works as you told, but to automatically setting featured products only, not setting new products.
Can you look at this featured product:
Can i use your plugin to set all featured products to expire as “nyheder” after 14 days so that all “nyheder=new products” automatically will be shown as normal products again – and not as a new product?
If yes, i sure will buy it
Is your plugin compatible with newest wordpress and woocommerce?
Ican see that it has been a while since you last updated your plugin…?
With our plugin, you can set any products as featured products for some period of time. You will need to select the products either by product name or category (not by new products criteria), and you can set the period by specific dates (not after x days). Please see the demo so you can figure out the functionality of the plugin.
As for compatibility, we just tested it’s working for newest WP and WC version.

How can i make sure it updates automatically as it is supposed to?
And yes it does run the crons, as seen in the logs, however your plugin does not update it automatically.

I just purchased the plugin (code:1daf950f-7689-4d9a-b013-88cd9e6207c4)
I would need to show the date from-to and the title and description field some way in the loop. Could you please give me some php code or direction for that?
(generally i need to show it on the product grid and the product page that why is it featured and for what period. I guess you save the info in the database, I would just need a simple way to show it on the frontend.
Thank you I did figured it out. I just added the appropriate update_post_meta fields in class-featured-scheduler-admin.php in the foreach at line 490, replacing $post_id with $product_id, so now it also saves the custom fields for the related products. Now i can simply call the data within a conditional tag checking for the post if it is featured, and get the custom fields out of the array I query for anyways to show all the other custom fields. I can send you my mods in case you want to include them in a future update. Happy new year.
Sorry, I couldn’t reply eerlier. Glad to know it’s resolved.
No worries mate, Happy New Year.
Hi, The plug-in does not work. After setting up the rules and “Run Now” it is still showing all products. Although it show the star icon near the product in WC products list.
If you see the star icons are active for products that you selected as featured products, it means the plugin works. To show the featured products you can use normal featured products shortcode or widget.
If that’s not the case, please contact us via my profile so we can check it.
Hi Just an FYI,
I have found a conflict that this plugin is causing – it causes the dropdown box/virtual/downloadable tab to the right of “Product Data” on a Woocommerce Edit Product page to disappear as well as a number of info boxes under the “General” Tab
Thanks for your info. We will check it out.
UPDATE: It seems to work fine using WP 4.5.x and WC 2.6.x.
Hi – How long does a Featured product rule take to show up? I use the featured products on my front page. I unchecked all my individual items in favor of the new rules in the Featured Products plugin, but it is not showing up yet.
Also, I do not have the ability to select individual products in the rule screen, only categories. Is this normal?
- It should be refreshed based on the rules every day.
- No, it’s not normal, you should be able to select criteria by individual products, it’s the first input on the rule screen (on criteria tab). What version of WP and WC do you use? I have checked it works on WP 4.5.x & 4.6.1 and WC 2.6.x.
What should I do to get unique products in the list? The category selection is populating only one item.
WP 4.6.1 and WC 2.6.4
Could you post the screenshot? or send it via an email form on my profile if you don’t want to show it publicly.
Please send admin access so we can check it closer. You can message me via my profile.
I won’t be doing that. I did further troubleshooting, disabling all WooCommerce connected plugins except yours. I found the same issue persisted. I also found that with your plugin active, i couldn’t modify or add new products. the product form was non-responsive. Deactivating your plugin restored functionality.
The most recent update resolved both of my issues. Thank you.
Hello, i’m wondering if it’s easy to make it compatible with wc vendor and a subscription. for each vendor who take a plan of 3 weeks, they can use your plugin functionality. is that hard to do ? what do you think ?
I don’t know about wc vendor and what you want to achieve. Basically, our plugin will automate the featured products based on some rules. Let me know if you need more info.
thanks for your plugin
I have a problem. I’ve install on mywebsite and work with some product. With other product i have a problem. When display my home page in some product not display only featured image but also a code (this “[post_title] => Libro in brossura fresata [post_excerpt] => [post_status] => publish [comment_status] => open [ping_status] => closed [post_password] => [post_name] => libro-in-brossura-fresata [to_ping] => [pinged] => [post_modified] => 2016-10-10 08:16:40 [post_modified_gmt] => 2016-10-10 06:16:40 [post_content_filtered] => [post_parent] => 0 [guid] => [menu_order] => 0 [post_type] => product [post_mime_type] => [comment_count] => 0 [meta_id] => 8492 [post_id] => 612 [meta_key] => _featured [meta_value] => yes )—> “)
Also i use https://it.wordpress.org/plugins/yith-woocommerce-badges-management/ (on premium version) but this not appear on featured product (display with your plugin).
I hope you can help me.
Can I see the page? You can send me the page’s url by email via my profile if you don’t want to reveal it in public comment. Or try this first, put show=”all” in the shortcode.
Hello and thanks for reply. I’m not use shortcode before. I try and resolve problem about shortocode but continue to have problem that not display badge on over image. I try to put show=”all” but have error on page. I send you my website link. Thanks
After I read your issue again, I think I was wrong in understanding your question, sorry for that. Actually, what the plugin does is to automate the selection of featured products, so you can define some rules to select the featured products instead of manually selecting them. If you see the products list in the admin, are the featured indicator changed according to your defined rules? If so, then the plugin has done the job. As for displaying those featured products on your site, it depends on your theme, the plugin does nothing in displaying the products. I have checked the page that you sent and there is no code displayed.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
