How to make balance payment ?

Customer can make balance payment using one of the following ways :

  • After successfully paying deposit, customer receive an invoice which contains payment information and a link to make partial payment.
  • customer can find “PAY” button if they login to their ” My Account” page in orders section.
  • admin can choose to set up a partial payment reminder email, which can be adjusted to be sent after X days from deposit payment. This email contains a link to make partial payment
  • admin can choose to manually send partial payment reminder email anytime from order editor page.

In case the user is a guest, they can only make payment using link provided in email.

Are customers charged automatically when a partial payment is due?

No. Automatically charging customers is not a feature in the current version.

Does this plugin support payment plans?

Yes. Plugin V3.0.0 and above offer payment plans features.

How to change the colours of the deposit switch?

You can find buttons colors settings in Woocommerce >> Settings >> Deposits in Buttons section

How to update plugin ?

you can update plugin by following one of the ways listed below :
  • deactivate and delete current version from plugins page ( this does not remove any product or order data), then you can proceed to install new version via WordPress plugins manger
  • use FTP client to upload new plugin version (after extracting zipped file) , this way it will overwrite old version of plugin.

How to override email templates?

Woocommerce Deposits emails are just like woocommerce emails and can be placed in the same folder in child theme (~/woocommerce/emails/).

an even easier way to override these emails would be by using woocommerce Emails settings section Woocommerce >> Settings >> Emails
