Has the issue described by Babimcc 3 weeks ago (second payment cannot be disabled for credit card payments) been resolved in the mean time?
I would appreciate a quick response, as will have to look for another plugin otherwise.
Hi, this issue is caused by using versions of woocommerce not yet officially supported by our plugin, however we are soon releasing an update which will fully support woocommerce 2.6.9
Any chance the deposit can be triggered by the add-to-cart query string ?
hi, this is possible with customization , you will need to hire a developer or implement the code yourself.
The support system is too bad. I submited a ticket 7 days ago but no response.
I purchased Woocommerce Partial Payment, however, I dont know how to specify separate payment method for either deposit or full payment.
Please guide me how to do so,
I also chosen full & deposit, but there is no choice of them in the payment page!
This plugin seem doesnt work , with no support from author
Thanks and best regards,
Hello, sorry but there is no ticket submitted on our platform regarding this issue , maybe what happened is that you sent a private message to admin.
regarding your issue , deposit is product-based , so deposit button is located in product page above add to cart button, button is not located in payment page.
regatding gateways : plugin does not provide option of providing separate methods for either deposit or full payment, it can allow you to disable specific payment methods when paying a deposit , you can find the option in
woocommerce settings > deposits > allowed gateways
for more information regarding installation and usage : there is documentation file included with plugin file downloaded from envato.
if you are facing difficulties with usage after reading documentation please submit a ticket on our system or use envato messaging system to contact me directly.
I cannot figure out how to use your plugin. Please issue a refund for me.
Hello, I am in charge of technical support only, author handles refunds .. but I will notify him for you.
Does this plugin work with the Wholesale Pricing extension? We want to require an upfront deposit for Wholesalers (user role), but not be available to everyone else.
Hi , this plugin works with all roles by default, in order to limit its usage to specific user-role you’d need to get customization done to it.
I’m interested in buying this plugin but i wanted to check something first.
In my woocommerce site I don’t want the user to make any full payments only 10% of the price, meaning if the product costs $100 it should charge them $10 only and they never pay the rest (it’s collected offline without the use of the website).
Can this plugin help integrate this feature or does the user have to make the rest of the payment for the order to be considered complete? i’m worried that it will keep asking the user to complete the payment or keep the order in a “pending” state that could mess with any data analytics.
plugin allows admin to collect deposit option and disable second payment so that it is made in store (admin will have to mark order as completed manually).
please note that plugin collect tax and shipping upfront on top of deposit, so if deposit for a product is assigned as 10$, final deposit will be 10$ + tax + shipping.
will this work with wordpress version 4.7?
Hello, plugin does not officially offer wordpress 4.7 support but it should work fine, what is more important is current version of woocommerce ( latest stable support is 2.5)
Is there a way to make this work with Amazon Payments?
Hello, 3rd party compatibility is not guaranteed and is not included with item support.
It was not tested with amazon payments ( there are few different plugins that integrate amazon payment as a gateway for woocommerce ) but I guess possibility highly depends on which plugin you use and whether it uses proper woocommerce hooks or not.
i wanted to buy it . but i want to confirm before that it works on wordpress 4.6.1 and woocommerce 2.6.x.
Hello, currently the versions supported are the ones listed in description , but a new version will be released soon and it will support woocommerce 2.6.11 , it is currently going through testing & string translation.
Hi I see where you mentioned that there will be a new build out soon. Will it be compatible with woocommerce 2.6.11?
Hello, yes the new version will support woocommerce 2.6.11 , it is currently going through testing & string translation.
Looks like your plugin would fit my needs perfectly, but from what I read in the comments, it doesn’t really work with Awebooking Plugin… being that the most recent comment on the matter is from 9 months ago, I’d like to know if it is still the case…
If so, is it relatively easy to make them work together?
Hello, we have not tested plugin with Awebooking as 3rd party compatibility is not included in support.
Is it possible to set a deposit % based on the product price with a minimal amount?
up to $100 10% minimal €5
up to $250 8% minimal $25
up to $500 6% minimal $50
Hello ,currently the deposit can be set to be a percentage of product price but there is no minimal amount option, but it can be added by customizing plugin.
Can you tell me if and how it’s possible to use deposit buttons on check-out page? Checkout is a better place for it, because its actually about payment
Hello, this feature is not included in plugin,it is possible with customization to locate deposit button in cart (not checkout because plugin makes calculations in cart)
Thank you for your suggestion ,it will be discussed with author.
I’m looking for a way to add a fixed deposit amount to a WooCommerce order.
I’m only selling one product and the amount is always the same. The deposit will be returned to the client, after the rental period has ended. So it’s no partial payment whatsoever. Can your plugin provide a solution for me? thanks in advance!
Hello, this plugin does not allow that , it is meant to be for partial-payments.
Will there be an update so the plugin is compatible with WooCommerce Version 2.6 also?
Hello, there is an update that is coming up soon which will be compatible with woocommerce up to 2.6.12
Hello, Is there a way to hide (display: none;) the ‘Pay’ button on ‘Partial Paid’ status and keep the ‘View’ button. Why I am doing this because all gateways in my country refused the remaining payment with the same order id even using WCDP Version 1.5.1. So, the only way is duplicate the order from order admin, edit it then put it as ‘pending payment’ so the client can view, pay or cancel. Please help Thank you!
Hello, this can be done by disabling second payment from woocommerce settings , or by using css selectors manually.
the issue you mentioned could be caused by gateway plugin behavior which hijacks order handling process.
Hello, Possible to disable pay the remaining amount online ? Just a partial payment of product and the customers pay the remaining amount in my local shop ? (no shipping)
Hello, there is an option in plugin settings to disable second-payment on customer front-end and mark it manually as completed by admin.
I’ve been hired by someone regarding an issue they have with this plugin. My client’s customers are choosing to pay the deposit ($100) and then pay the remaining $400 at a later date. Although when the customer goes to pay for the remaining $400, they are only being charged the deposit amount again and the transaction is being marked as “Completely Paid” making both the client and customer think that the whole outstanding $400 has been paid. Can you please address this issue?
the issue described is most probably caused by incompatible gateway plugin ,
some gateways plugins do not follow best practices in payment handling set by woocommerce ( by extending WC_Payment_Gateway class).
please run a payment test on deposit and remaining using paypal integrated gateway to make sure deposits plugin is not responsible for this error.
hi, can you help me fix deposit amount to a WooCommerce order in yourwebsite http://www.abcboats.com/ I have been testing the payment section and the journey through it is fine. However it seems through the whole process the total being taken is the deposit only – however when the payment is taken via RMS – it appears to take the whole booking amount. Hello, the issue is most probably caused by gateway plugin not accessing order data correctly , please try to replace $order->order_total with $order->get_total() in ALL gateway files and this may resolve the issue.
Hey, will this do the same as this?
Hello, these are 2 different plugins which handle deposits differently, features and functionality may differ between plugins.
Hi – When Partially Paid Summary shows the order total (£10) as total order amount + 50% deposit paid = £15 (£5 unpaid). Please help!
Hello, please submit a ticket to our support system with woocommerce system status report attached so that we can help you better.
Use, by you or one client, in a single end product which end users are not charged for. The total price includes the item price and a buyer fee.
