Hello This sounds great! What is the difference between this item and your other item “Paypal Split Payment?” I get the level part, so I guess the question is why would I use this instead? (or Not)

The different is this uses the same default PayPal gateway that comes with WooCommerce. The PayPal receivers can be set at Product/Category level. Technically speaking this should work with subscription though we haven’t tested it which we will do soon.
The PayPal Split Payment Plugin adds a separate gateway which works using the PayPal Adaptive APIs. Here each payment can be split. This will not work for subscription.
is it possible to hide the paypal settings (receiver) on the product page in the backend for specific user roles?
As of now there is no such option. We will add this option in our next update and release in a day or two.

Real cool plugin! But what would happened if customer puts 2 products in cart and each product has different paypal address for receiver?
It works similar to subscription i.e. you can’t add 2 products with different PayPal at the same time to the cart. We validate and throw an error message in that case.
Thats good to hear. Any chance that i’ts possible to edit the error message so the customer understands the situation? I’m used to editing databases and or files within plugins.

I am looking at a few of your plugins and want to make sure i get the right one. In my company we have a Glove Dept and a Gear Dept. We are using WooCommerce for our products. If I want the Glove payment to go to our Glove account, and our Gear payments to go to our Gear dept. this is the plugin i want to use instead of the split payment one where it is based off of percentages correct?
If you are going to send the payments to 2 separate PayPal accounts without any splitting then yes this Plugin would help you.
Pre sales question. Can I add a different paypal address on each item in my store.
Eg I have 10 different products with 10 different paypal address?

This isn’t possible as Custom PayPal uses the PayPal Standard and PayPal Split uses the PayPal Adaptive.

It works based on WooCommerce category, product or global level and not based on vendor category.
does this plugin work for marketpalce site. If there are 100 vendors selling on the site and a customer comes and buys 100 products from 100 different vendors can I set it up that each vendor gets their money for their product?
What you are looking for will work but for one order you can add items only for one received. So for purchasing from 100 different vendors user has to make 100 different orders.
Could we use this plugin to work as an adaptive paypal payment for a marketplace website, where the customers pays directly to the seller(s) > site owner receives a commision??
The other PayPal Adaptive Split Plugin will help but not this one in your case.

Hi, I’ve added the paypal at product level but its not working when I’m adding more than 1 product in cart, the previous product get replaced each time.
Please note that each Product for which there is a different receiver should be purchased in separate orders meaning if Product1 and Product2 has 2 different receivers Receiver1 and Receiver2 then these products can’t be added to the Cart at the same time.
We have specified this in the Product description.

Thanks for the reply, but as I said I’m trying to add the products for the same receiver meaning Product1, Product2, Product3 has same receiver paypal, but when I’m adding them on cart the previous one gets replaced, I’m not able to add the more than 1 product.

It is possible to have error message in any case the cart will reset iself
at the present time the cart reset itself if:
1) custom product A + custom product B
2) custom product + normal product
it is possible to have in both cases the error notification

HelIo, I have a base currency (Added in Woocommerce and functioning properly) not supported by Paypal (Paypal is disabled when I select the added currency as base currency). Could this plugin enable Paypal to work with my base currency?
This Plugin works on top of the default PayPal in WooCommerce. In your case since you are saying that PayPal is disabled when you select a base currency, we doubt this Plugin will work for you.
Presale Question: If buyer adds multiple products that belong to same category (same PayPal email in Product Category), will the plugin work? I saw some comments that products get overwritten when buyer adds new products. The scenario is that buyer will definitely buy multiple products and many quantities but all in a single category.
Yes, it will work for multiple products when they belong to same category. The overriding will occur only when they have different PayPal id.
