I am about to buy this plugin. Is there any issues updating from version 1.2.1 ????

Hi!

If you already have license for 1.2.1, you can upgrade for free, though please note that 2.0 is the major update, and make sure to check how all of your fields were migrated.

I just purchased this plugin and first wanted to thank you. It’s a very detailed plugin, so far very seamless to integrate and better than Gravity Forms imo.

My question is as follows:

I added a Select field to one of my products. The selections are:
  • Standard Item ($0)
  • Personalization ($20)

My product price is $129.

If I set it up your script on a quantity basis, and order 2 of them. One of each. My total price on the Checkout screen is correct, BUT, it’s saying the price in my cart is $139. It’s taking the average (($129 + $149) / 2 = $139) of both of the prices, which might be a bit odd to customers and will most likely cause confusing.

Is there a way to itemize it out or make it more clear for the customer?

I also noticed if you click the image of your item in the cart, it will bring you back to the product page and the dynamic price of the product is then set to $139, which makes no sense.

Hi!

Thank you for your feedback. As for your issues – it’s quite hard to say what’s happening without seeing the actual setup. Could you please submit a support ticket to us with temporary login credentials?

Pre-sales question:

Is there any way to push the Product Fields onto the “Additional Information” tab that contains the list of product attributes, rather than on it’s own tab created by the plugin itself?

Thanks!

Hi!

It could be possible, but you will need to alter the default method “add_product_properties_tab”.

Thanks! Two more questions:

1. Is there any functionality for product properties to be added for each variation on a variable product? A UPC Code field, for example, would apply to each variation as they most often have a unique UPC per variation (and no UPC for the parent product). We would provide a value for the field for each variation, and NOT the parent product.

2. Are the fields exposed as “meta:”? We use the CSV Import Suite to bulk import products and would like to load custom field data in the CSV import files.

Thanks!

1. No, unfortunately, that’s not currently possible – those could be added only per product.

2. Yes, it is added as meta – please check this article.

hello,

i have the modul “yith woocomerce compare” and i will test it how if your product compatible with the yith plugin. i will know if fields that i made with your plugin are comparable with the yith modul. Can you test it for me or can you get me a trial version or a sandbox demo with the yith modul? thank you for answering!

regards,

Florian

Hi Florian,

Unfortunately, we don’t have any trial versions for our plugin, you can only check how it works on our demo site.

Kirill

does your plugin generate shortcode for the custom field to be used on other plugin like pdf invoice and packing slip plugins

Hi!

There are no such shortcodes, though you can use the field values in other plugins, read this article on how to access various data saved by the plugin.

Hi i have pre-sales question, through you plugin is possible to see and add the features that your have in front end in the woocommerce back end order? i mean if an admin want to create an order manually from backend when add product in the order entry panel your features (checkbox, radio box etc) are available?

Hi!

No, unfortunately, that is not currently possible, product fields can be added from the frontend only. Though in placed order for admin it may be set possible to edit field values.

Kirill

ok thank you for your quick reply :)

No problem, let me know if I can help you with anything else :)

Is this plugin compatible with woocommerce 3.2? I just updated to 3.2 and this plugin is not working any more.

Hi!

First of all, are you sure you have latest version of our plugin as well? Please submit a support ticket to us, so we could check this directly on your setup (please include the temporary login credentials).

Pre-Sale question… I was using the demo, and I really like that there is the ability to increase the quantity and add a new box… as long as the setting is turned on for that particular item. My question is, I’d like to group some of these boxes… For example, I have a client that is selling artificial leg covers. Some people have both legs missing, and will order 4. Others missing both legs and will order 2 sets. So, if a qty of 2 is chosen, each leg can have different data, which is great, but I’d like to be able to group the new boxes that come up along with the boxes underneath them. So, for example…

Leg 1
Height
Circumference
Color
Qty 1

If Qty 2 is chosen, it would be ideal to have the following:

Leg 1
Height
Circumference
Color

Leg 2
Height
Circumference
Color
Qty 2

So, really, I’m asking if there’s a way to add a title before the dropdowns? I didn’t see it in the demo, and I just wanted to make sure. Thanks!

We do have plans to add this in future. Some of our customers was able to use some other field for the title as a workaround. You will need to use CSS to hide the field itself and just style it’s title to look like the title of the group.

Thanks Kirill. I’ve just purchased the plugin. Might you be able to point me in the direction of the users that have successfully done this? I’m assuming they’ve given instructions? Thanks very much once again!

No, unfortunately, not – they just pointed that it was possible to do with some CSS. That shouldn’t be too hard to achieve this with some knowledge of CSS. Feel free to submit a support ticket to us if you have any questions related to your setup.
