I really like your plugin but I have a problem with it.
After adding custom fields in the “order fields” section, when I enter woocommerce -> orders -> I enter a specific order, after filling the fields and want to “save” the order, it does not issue any action.
That is, your plugin completely cancels the function of the button “save” of the orders. And not only does it cancel the save button, it also cancels the action of any other button in the management of an order.
I know 100% that the problem is your plugin because I have been deactivating all the plugins one by one, and with no other one this happens to me.
Activate your plugin, and zas! I have this problem.
Disable your plugin, and everything is perfect.
How can you solve this? Because I bought your plugin for me to work properly, and not to cancel the functions of woocommerce.
Could it be that you have some required fields that are not filled in or some fields with invalid values?
This extension relies on HTML5 form validation so errors should be displayed but it might be that you are using some browser which does not display those errors or so.
If the problem persists, please submit a support ticket and we will look into this.
I have a pre-sales question before I buy your plugin.
If I setup a User Field for the customer to enter some info at Checkout, is the information they enter in that field also saved in their User / Customer Profile in the Admin area? I can’t verify in your demo because it doesn’t allow me to view the User Profile.
Yes, that information is available on their profile and when customers are placing new orders, corresponding fields are populated with existing values so they don’t have to enter the same information again.
have you plans to add support for Prestashop?
As of now, we don’t have plans to develop extensions to any other ecommerce platforms but WooCommerce.
, thanks a lot, best regards , Panagiotis
Can I set the limit size for the images?
Can I force cropping the images? do you plan to add a cropping tool?
Yes, you can set the limit for files uploading via custom field – this option is located in plugin’s settings.
As for cropping – I’m afraid there’s no such feature yet and it also isn’t planned, as far as I know.
Hello. I want to apply a new checkbox for the products belonging to the “brand” taxonomy of the yithemes plugin. But you do not recognize it, can it be so?Thanks
There may be incompatibility with custom taxonomies – please submit a support ticket to us, so we could check this.
Isn’t it possible anymore to edit the Meta-fields in the order? Some fields shouldn’t appear on the invoices so in the last version I ever put manually a ” _ ” (e.g. _Name) before it. Now I can’t do it anymore
Could you submit a support ticket to us with more details please, and possibly screenshots of what you mean? We’ll do our best to help you.
Hi ! Is it possible to let the customer chosse between 3 or 4 shop to pick up his order, and then the new order notification is sent specifically to the selected shop ?
Thanks ! Joli Projet
Could you please explain in more details what exactly you mean by selecting a shop? Is it just offline shops selected at online store? If so, then of course – you can add such custom field. As for sending notification – I’m afraid it’s out of the scope of this plugin, but you can implement this with some custom code or other plugin – just need to base condition on the saved “shop” custom field value.
Hi I looking to buy this plug in and I was doing some tests in the demo mode.
I see that I can place conditions, I want to know if there is a way to do a condition like this.
I'm gonna make a pizza shop and I need to choose first the ammount of ingredients and then the toppings (ingredients).
So the way I was trying to acchieve this is first create a radio box for pick 1, 2 or 3 ingredients.
And then a checkbox with all the ingredients. the problem is that I want to make the checkbox max selected 1 when they choose 1 ingredient, 2 when they choose 2, and 3 when they choose 3.
I was thinking to make a checkbox with all the ingredients and place max 1 another with 2 max and another with 3 max.
The problem is that I dont know how to select a conditional that display the checkbox with the max 1 ingredient when they choose 1 ingredient in the radio buttons, 2.. and 3…
Thanks for the help. And it looks like a nice plugin, but I need some help with that.
It seems that you just need set up those fields using condition that checks the value of another custom field (ingredients).
Have you tried doing this?
Yes but there are 3 ways of check, 1 ingredient, 2 ingredients and 3 ingredients, so when they check 1 displays a checkbox were they only can check one ingredient, and the same with 2 and with 3.
If only set to display when they check any answer, they can check more items and It can cause problems at the moment or order because each ingredient dont have a price itself, the price is set when they choose 1 ingredient, 2 ingredients or 3 ingredients.
The reason of this is that the client have an awkward way of pricing, they dont have like this toppings cost this price and this other this price.
For example one of the princings is like this.
1 Ingredient +15
2 Ingredients +30
3 Ingredients +50
Thanks for the help.
Thank you for the explanation. Unfortunately I don’t see a way to implement all those limitations, so customer will still be able to select more (or even all) items from the checkboxes, even though he selected 1/2/3 ingredients in the other field.
There is option to make the field quantity-based, but it looks like it’s not applicable in your case.
That is why I was thinking creating 1 checkbox with custom ingredients limitation.
And I see that in the conditions appear.
Condition -> Other Field -> (choose the field) -> is empty, is not empty, contains, equals (and others).
How contains function?
Or equals? function
they have a condition space that I can fill, what kind of conditions I can place in that space?
Unfortunately there’s no condition to count how many checkboxes are checked. “Contains” checks for some specific part that could be in the field, “equals” checks if field value is the same as text in the condition (so matching not part, but full value).
In your case you’ll be only able to check if something or nothing is checked, or check for specific ingredients, but not count those.
A pre-sale question.
Can I disallow some of the user custom fields to be visible on the front-end but just on the back-end?
This is in case I would like to write some internal notes about the user that are just for team use.
Yes, there’s option to make some fields public or private (available for Product Properties and Order Fields).
Hi, thanks for your reply!
So for User Custom Fields that are available also in the User Profile is NOT possible to disable visibility on front-end for some custom fields?
Just to double check.
Usually those fields are only available on User Profile and not displayed on the front end, but if those are, then most probably they will be visible.
Hi, I’m interested with the plugin. Pre-sales question: Does it allow multiple file selection from a single upload or do I need to create a custom upload field for each file that would be uploaded by the user?
Another one: I would have a dropdown field that would allow the user to select 3 sets, 5 sets or 7 sets of an item. If the user selects 5 sets for example, he will then be presented with 5 text boxes to input value.
File upload allows only one file to be selected and uploaded, but you can make this field quantity-based, so for each quantity unit another file upload field will appear.
As for your second question – that is possible, but you’d need to create 7 fields manually and set different conditions on them (based on selection in first field). Let us know if you need any help in configuring it.
I have a question before I buy this,
I have a company selling commercial products with printing, Like t-shirts, pens, with company logos.
Im wondering if I can add options like a base fee for 35 dollars for color, Not quantity based
Then 1 dollar extra if they choose with printing and so on
Sure, that’s possible to configure. Let us know if you need any help in setting this up.
I can see there’s a multiplier on quantity, Im using the demo before I purchase this. Im not able to add only 1 fee for 35 dollars, If the quantity is 500 t-shirts for example. How do I do this?
I want to be able to add 35 dollars for setting up the screens for the printing of the t-shirt. It’s a one time fee. Not quantity based
You can add one-time fee to any field and make it single (e.g. add a checkbox that will have this fee). Unfortunately quantity condition is not available.
How can we display to input the order field in our template ?
Please refer to our article about inserting fields/values in your template files.
Thanks but it is also workable if I call this code <?php wccf_print_product_field(array(‘key’ => ‘UNIQUE_FIELD_KEY’)); ?> into different plugin files? because I tried it and I got this error Fatal error: Call to undefined function wccf_print_product_field().
If not do you have suggestion on how I can display the field into different plugin files?
Even though it was designed for use in theme’s template files, in general it could be possible to use anywhere, but in your case it seems that this code is called before Custom Fields is loaded – you need to run it at some later moment (after all plugins loaded could be the earliest).
Can you please give me example on how I can do that to run the plugin on some later moment? then after the all plugins loaded.
Well, this is highly related to your code, i.e. where you use that code and how. Unfortunately we can’t help you with debugging of some custom code and third party plugins – we can only help with some advices, like the one above.
You migh need to hire a freelancer to properly implement this code (if possible).
Let us know if we can help you with anything else.
Pre-sales…..Your demo of this product links to a page that says “Error establishing a database connection” – not very encouraging
Thank you for reaching out – demo sites are currently in maintenance, please try again later.
Looks like all their demo sites are down.
Yes, demo sites are in maintenance mode, please wait for some time and try again later.
Awesome. Take my money! First off, great plugin and I appreciate the efforts tremendously. I have but one query if you’d be so kind to allow me some of your time.
In response to this comment about hiding say `Checkout Fields` and `Customer Details`
Is it possible to add something to my functions.php to remove those fields, or perhaps a file I can manually edit? That’d be greeeeaaat if so.
PS: In regards to hiding from the logged in customers dashboard. Say for instance one such field is a password field… I can think of plenty of people to be annoyed that it’s visible. Easiest solution I would think would be to simply hide those tables all together.
Hi, what is doing exactly the new “compound percentage discount” setting?
Let’s say I have a jewel, and client can engrave a text.
I can set that EACH character cost 0.80 $ to engrave?
Is that possible to achieve?
Sorry, I see the other filed in the demo is doing exactly that..
No problem, glad that you found it. Feel free to let us know if you need help with anything else
