Warning: Missing argument 3 for WCCF_WC_Cart::maybe_disable_quantity_change() in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas12_data03/56/3741056/html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-custom-fields/includes/classes/wccf-wc-cart.class.php on line 521
I have the version 2.0 of the plugins.
I am using “betheme” for the theme of my website.
Everything is working fine, but when i add a product to the cart, if i go in the cart page, i see this error in the “quantity” column.
I do not have a cart sidebar activated.
Also, the ajax “add to cart” method is disabled (i tried both, not working!)
I would like to know the fix for this or if it is possible to clear this bug ASAP because i need this for a client!
We seen this issue caused by themes mostly, which makes this call incorrectly with missing argument. But we added workaround for this in latest version, so please update to 2.0.1
Also this is just a warning message – it doesn’t interrupt any code execution, and if you deactivate the debug mode on your site, it’ll be hidden.
Where can i update the version? Last time i checked (yesterday) there was no update available in the extension list of my wordpress
Now i can see the update, but i cannot download it (another error, yay!)
What can i do ?
(OFC, my product key is there and valid)
You can download new version here, on CodeCayon and install it automatically. As for this error – please submit a support ticket to us, so we could check this directly on your setup (please include the temporary WP login and FTP credentials).
Can you tell me if your plugin will allow for additional product data, specifically SKU numbers, to show up on the view-order pgae that the customer sees for past orders?? Thanks.
Do you mean add this data for the past orders? No, I’m afraid that’s not supported. The data is saved to order meta in real-time checkout only.
probably confirmed all along, but just to be sure: I sell workshops, but the buyer is not always the attendee. I would need an extra required field to type in the attendies name. otherwise order cant be completed. is this covered? if yes, am I free in which line I want to add that field or is it dependable on container f. e. after buyers address, before buy button, etc…? thanks
Yes, it is possible. You can add this as product or checkout field, which will control where it’s shown – on the product page or on checkout (at the top by default). You can also include any field into any of your theme’s templates by using our built-in functions and inseting small piece of PHP code.
Let us know if you need any help in setting this up.
Pre-Sale Question: Can you plugin support WOOCOMMERCE PRODUCT PAGE Input areas for numeric inputs only? Like so?
if so, would it also keep the quantities in the cart?
You can create quantity-based fields – that will result in a new field for each quantity unit. So in your example user will be able to select the size for each quantity unit. Current quantity in cart will stay unchanged, of course.
Pre-Sale question: I want to give more details about the availability of the product. For example it is possible to replace the “In Stock” with another custom information using your plugin?
You can always add another field and then use it’s value however you like on your site, but I’m afraid by default it won’t “replace” any of existing WooCommerce’s functionality.
A pre-sale question – is working smoothly with Product Filters Layered Nav widget – are your plugin custom fields properly catched from the Layered Nav Woocommerce widget?
Unfortunately we don’t have information on the compatibility with this product.
does it work in combination of variable products, example I may have two parent drop down menu with inventory active, then I want to make a custom field on the same product.. what will be the result if possible.. thanks
Specific variations of variable products are fully supported – so you can set a condition for field to only appear on that variation, and it will do just that.
Hey there, hopefully you haven’t answered this already, but can I somehow attach weight to a selection? Like “add a bonus item” but have the bonus item affect the total weight of the product.
Thank you for reaching out! I’m afraid that’s not yet possible in current version.
I am using your plugin on your demo site and created a product field, but was wondering how to hide it on certain products? After I created the field, it seems that it is displayed on all products and I wish to only have it shown on certain items. Is this possible? I’ve search through all the settings on the product page and in product fields options and found nothing to do so. Please advise.
You just need to activate “conditions” on the right sidebar with options, and then new box will appear, in which you’ll be able to add product-specific condition.
PRESALES QUESTION: I while ago someone asked you guys is it possible to set conditional based on product quantity. My example too is based on tickets. If someone purchases 6 tickets, then I would want to have 6 Names/Last Names fields available. This doesn’t have to be automatic, as long as I can somehow limit “Name” input boxes according to the number of purchased tickets. Hope that makes sense. I’ll be happy with custom solution as well if you can provide one after purchase. Thanks
Yes, it is possible – you’ll just need to set all such fields as quantity-based. Then after user increases the quantity of tikcets (or any other product), the additional instances of fields will appear.
Hi Kirill, my question was related to the checkout screen, not product. So I want to add a license option with extra fee using the checkbox for each ticket on the checkout screen. If 4 tickets are in cart, there should be 4 extra checkboxes for each ticket. I’m not seeing “based on quantity” for checkout on your demo. Thoughts?
I’m afraid this feature only available in the scope of specific product fields. Checkout fields are more general over the whole cart.
I am still having issues with your plugin with the image upload feature.. Supoort has been good so far. But the issue has not been resolved.. Support keeps saying its other plugins but I have deactivated all other plugins and its still not working.. please help.
Sorry for misunderstanding. I see that you’re still having that issue – let’s continue researching this in your ticket.
Hello! Thanks for this good tool
Is there any possibility of a tool to export / import?
All data is saved in meta fields, so there’s not much limitations for exporting that data.
I was seeing it for example when creating fields for checkout. Although they appear on the payment page and in the emails. It seems that they are declared somehow not standardized for Woocommerce.
For example, they do not fit inside the core “Billing Fields” of the user so that another plugin can recognize them. Within the profile are not assigned. Only inserted in the payment page and shown in the emails. I explain?
Hi again. Its quite a coinsident I just bumped into you again, when searching for plug-in… I am looking for a plug-in to like insert a form in a product. When purchasing an online consultation, the user must leave contact info like “timezone” and subject to discuss, timeslots etc. Do you know what I mean? Any help would be appreciated!
I just checked your plug-in. Seems like its just based on ACF which doesnt even provide a default timezone-selector? You have any work around for this?
Our plugin is fully written from ground up and is not based on anything (including ACF).
It also allows to set pre-set values out of the box, e.g. if you add a select box you can chose what option will be already selected upon loading the page.
Ok, can you confirm following:
1. Do you offer a drop-down timezone selector out of the box?
2. Can I create product which requires the user’s input? As e.g. timezone?
3. Can I add multiple fields in registration and check-out page?
4. Can I fetch already existing user-data into contact forms etc. so the user will not have to complete these twice?
1 – There’s no such built-in selector for timezone specifically, but you can configure it on your own.
2/3 – For both – yes, you can.
4 – Already existing user fields data will be pre-populated next time this field appears.
Hi, i am getting the message “field key must be unique across all fields of this type” when trying to add a product field. However, i have not created any fields at all as i have just purchased it. Do you know what the problem might be? i do not have any numbers, spaces etc in the unique key
Thanks for reaching out!
