I’ve bought the plugin and here is my experience after the installation:

After dozens of test emails and the whole evening spent, that’s what I have:

1. The plugin is sending the message only once for 1 email, the message won’t be sent to the same email for the second and further orders. Emails must be different in orders. I can’t see any logic in that. Perhaps the client orders twice for the same email and I want 2 triggers come to him… He will only get one trigger…. Maybe a bug?

2. At the moment New Order Event is working for me, Payment Complete Event is not working at all, not even if I send it at once without schedule.

3. The main problem is that scheduled messages are not being sent at all, although I see them scheduled in logs. That’s very important for me and I need quick support for that issue.

I’ve opened the support ticket and am waiting for the author’s help. I’ll post here the results and how quickly the support will help as I see in comments there were problems.

Hi!

Thank you for reaching out – we’ll need to check your setup to find out what could be wrong there. Let’s continue this in your ticket.

Kirill

I’ve sent you the access to admin, did you get it?

Yes, thank you – I can see that you’ve sent the access. We will update you as soon as possible.

Hello,

Pre-Sale question.

Is it possible to add additional order meta to the custom emails? I am using another plugin that customizes WooCommerce checkout adding extra fields, these then get added to the orders as order meta values. I need to create custom emails extracting some of the meta values, but not all. For example, one extra field is Date of Birth, which is added in the order as a custom field named date_of_birth, I need the value entered here to show in an custom email.

Thank you

Craig

Hi Craig,

It is possible to add custom macros to the current macros list, and also provide your own values for that, and it can be any order’s meta value, or all of those value you’d like to add at once.

Hi, pre-sales question:

Does this plugin also let you edit the design of e-mails? I don’t see any screenshots of that. Does it let you add social links in the foot, for example?

Will it let you all of the static texts?

I am not very experienced with woocommerce e-mails, so for me it is super important that you have good support.

And what is your refund policy? I know what I want to achieve but I’m having a really hard time determining which plugin will get the job done. I’m afraid of making a wrong purchase.

Thanks

I’m also seeing lots of negative comments about slow support.. That’s not good for me. Why is support so slow? Are you understaffed atm or is support just not a huge priority?

Hi!

Yes, as per Envato policy, local laws should also apply. As for whether or not the support is “slow” – that actually depends on the expectations of users. Our usual update time is within 24 hours (but it may vary depending on the complexity of tasks), which usually fine for the most of users, but some expect to see chat-like responses (which is not possible with our amount of requests). Also, we don’t work on weekends, and not everyone accepts that as well.

I put the ticket about the problem that the plugin is not sending scheduled emails 8 days ago, sent them access… Unfortunately the support still hasn’t solved it and have no news from them although I let them know that I urgently need to make the plugin work. If I have no answer till Monday unfortunately I will have to request the refund and leave a negative feedback. I just want to warn everybody that the support is not quick at all if you are going to order that plugin. Just know that if you have any problems you can wait long, long time.

I can assume that the problem was on my side, though the support was actually not flash-like (it took them app. 1 week to look into my problem, a couple of days for smaller issues). Eventually I’ve given a 5 stars review to that plugin.

Hi!

Thank you for your feedback! And be sure that we’ll do our best to improve our response times in the future.

Kirill

Thanks a lot for your help!

Hello team, can the email be sent to custom wordpress roles ? I use a marketplace theme and which creates its own custom roles. Will your plugin be able to configure emails to users belonging to customised wordpress roles?

Hi!

Yes, it is possible – if those rules are created correctly, you will just need to configure the role-based condition.

Kirill

ignore, deleted

Ok, let us know if we can help you with anything else.

Hi there!

1.) Is it possible to disable the default messages from Woocoommerce and replace them with your own generated with this plug-in?

Thanks!

Hi!

Yes, it should be possible, if you setup all the triggers in a similar way.

Kirill

Ok, sounds good to me! :) Last two questions:

1.) Is it possible to trigger by shipping method? 2.) Is it possible to automatically insert an order overview (e.g. Wocoommerce default ‘Order successful’ template)?

Thanks!

Hi!

1. No, unfortunately, not. Only shipping address is supported.

2. There are some macros that use default WooCommerce templates, e.g. “order items table”.

Kirill

It is possible to create a follow-up sequence? For instance, a client bought X product, after that client receive 1 email today, 1 email in 5 days and another email in 10 days.

Hi!

Yes, it is possible to configure that – you will just need 3 triggers and 3 emails to configure. Feel free to submit a support ticket to us if you need any help in setting this up.

Kirill

Hi, Just a quick one. Looking to buy this, I have been playing around with your demo but emails weren’t reaching me, is this normal for the demo? Thanks

Hi!

Could you please try again, maybe with the other email? It should work correctly and emails will be sent. Also, maybe that you haven’t changed the email that’s set on demo site – you can check the email recipient on the “Log” page.

Kirill

Your plugin is looking good after trying the demo.

I really need a review reminder email sent for selected categories only, also need to have the product link in the review email open to the product #tab-reviews, making it easy for customs to leave reviews.

Can you confirm if this is possible?

Hi!

Yes, you can select purchased category of the product as condition for your trigger. And in the email itself, you can, of course, insert any links to your site’s pages. Feel free to check all that on our demo site.

Kirill

From what I understand after checking, I would have to create a review reminder email for every product and include a link like (http://demo.rightpress.net/d13907681_1089eaa4/product/woo-single-1/#tab-reviews) for the customer to clink on. But if a customer purchases a few different products in one order, I can’t see how I can create an automated review request email that will include a link to all products purchased, let alone include the #tab-reviews in the links.

Have I missed something or the plugin is not able to provide these features?

Hi!

Well, it is possible to include order items list in your email, but it’s default from WooCommerce and not customizable (to have those review links). So probably yes – it’s not yet possible to configure in the current version, but we’ll try to improve this in future.

Kirill

Hi Can I trigger customer how did not purchase in the last 3 month? Or purchase less than XXX $ in the last 3 month?, Thanks

Hi!

Yes, you can use such condition to check how much customer spent for the past time, but you still need some event that will trigger this, like “add to cart”, “new order”, or maybe “user login” would fit better for this task.

Kirill

Thanks sound good

Hi This is a very well thought out plugin, congrat’s I got excited working on your demo page as the options were huge and scale able. But, alas the one option that I really needed was “Tax” or Zero Tax in the trigger section. My usage would be “new orders”> sent to admin> triggered by an invoice/order with Zero Tax {and Zero tax is in the woocommerce setting Tax>ZeroTax >selected by country. We remove vat from the order cause the clients have a disability tax exemption so they are eligible to purchase without tax [ I use a plugin for this] But now I need to send them a special mail regarding their eligibility and a declaration. So Did I miss something in your demo…and it can actually do this? or do you plan to expand your plugin to include more triggers?

Thank you in advance Rob

Hi Rob,

Thank you for your feedback! We will consider adding this in the future.

Kirill

Hi Kirill Thank you for the prompt reply. Please do, as this will be very helpful for the UK & EU market where this disability vat exemption exists.. Also, even online sales B to B sales, were you ask Vat registration numbers so you need not charge VAT…this create a new way for site owners to send special mails to their customers who are businesses. I guess I’ll have to look for another solution temporarily until you have added these triggers in. unless of course if you could give a time frame. Thanks again, Rob

Hi Rob,

I’m afraid at the moment we don’t have any ETA on the future update.

Kirill

Can an email be triggered for visitor that added product(s) to cart but did not check out xx days after visit?

Hi!

Well, it might be possible in some cases, but not always – meaning there’s no such condition to tie this connection between cart event and later order, so it may be possible to achieve, but with some other conditions.

Kirill

Can you explain? PrestaShop w/ mailchimp can send abandoned cart emails.

Hi!

Well, simply – there’s no such functionality in the plugin, but it is possible to create a workaround in some cases. Though in you need exactly abandoned cart emails functionality, you might need to use some other solution.

Prepurchase questions:

1- I have seen your list of short codes (Macros) and I was wondering: Is it possible to add short codes for (product short description OR product SKU OR product Purchase note AND items names with their quantities only without any price) ?

2- Is it compatible with Polylang ?

3- I am using (woocommerce-sequential-order-numbers-pro), so dose the Code {order_number} prints Order No. or it prints order ID ?

Thanks in advance. What an amazing plugin you got.

Hi!

1. Well, it is possible to create custom macros, though it depends on the context and what exactly you’d like to achieve.

2. Unfortunately, we don’t have any information on compatibility with this plugin.

3. Method “get_order_number” is used, so most probably the number from the plugin will be returned.

Hi,

the Decorator doesn’t offer enough options and the custom css doesn’t work on all tags. I also want the header image show inside of the header instead on top of it. Where can I find the template files and edit them myself?

Thank you!

Hi!

Decorator uses default WooCommerce templates and therefore not everything can be customized from the plugin. Also please note that you can post any questions/bug reports on the free Decorator plugin on WordPress.org.

Seems like Decorator is not compatible with WooCommerce 3.2.x. Order items settings have no effect.

Thank you! When can we expect the update so the plugin is compatible with the latest WooCommerce version?

Hi there,

We will check that as soon as we can.

Please keep in mind that this page is for the WooCommerce Custom Emails related topics, not for other extensions.

Ok, I posted this issue on the wordpress plugins site.

Does your plugin allow triggering a follow-up e-mail to customers who viewed a product without buying them? Just like Amazon store does.

Hi!

No, unfortunately, such feature is not available.
