Dear Support,

We are currently trialling your Currency Switcher on our staging site: https://staging.pairfum.com/

We found that even when we activate the slider ‘I am using cache plugin on my site’ under Options, that our site did not automatically reset to the default currency for a new visitor.

We also noticed that the selected currency did not ‘stick’, i.e. it swiched back to the ‘default’ currency on some occasions.

We believe that the problem described below is caused by the Litespeed Caching plugin.

The solution was that we noticed that your plugin sets a cookie when we deactivate the slider ‘I am using cache plugin on my site’ : _gali

Litespeed advised to add the following line to the .htaccess file which allows it to vary the cache depending on the currency selected: RewriteRule .* – [E=Cache-Vary:_gali]

This seems to solve the issue.

Would you agree that this is the best cookie to use to vary the cache or do you have a different suggestion?

We look forward to your suggestions.

With kind regards,
