Any update on the RAM usage? :)

Is it possible to update the download, so I could use it also?

Is the above possible?

Sorry, I’ll try to push new update this week

hello, i sent you the email. please answer me

thanks

I’m away on vacations. You did not add cron script correctly. Its working now.

thank you

After some time running (a month or so) I realized that this script has written over 10.000 files into the / root, called index.php.1.62.1, index.php.1.92.1 and so…

Ive deactivated it by now… may you please tell me how to avoid this ?. Regards.

that is weird, are you sure you didn’t misconfigure something? can i se your config.php and cron line

Thanks for your reply, may I send it using the form here ?

please send to my email radovan.lozej at gmail.com

I have everything working but internet is showing as down?

script pings google.com, It may have problems accessing it, try ping -c 1 google.com

Is it possible to monitor a game server with this script?

If it is linux server, then yes

Will this work on PHP running on Windows servers?

No linux only

Hello!

The graph shows only up to 4 load. How can I raise it to 8? Thanks the reply.

Lazlo

yes, go to media/js/domready.js and change valueRange

can this check and tell me the memory usage? on each domain? thanks

Hello
I am disappointed that:
- script only checks every 5 minutes. There are no settings to change this.
- reports a 404 error when visiting index.
Installation instructions are incomplete and do not outline basic configuration of the script. Just the ”$variables” that require configuring, no example values, no details of what the values should be, and no information of where to get the information from!
Also there is no Admin area to manage the servers, logs, and perform backups of data. No way to setup notification email addresses for each server to go to a different person or department.
I feel a little let down here. And I cannot get it to work on the server I wanted it to work on.

:(

ok first, remove all wmon files from your web location, and create empty index.php file and put in <?php echo ‘WORKING’; ?> and check if works …when you get this working let me know.

btw.. 5min update interval is not hard coded, but set by cron. Set it to * instead */5 in you will have 1min interval. If you have 1 min interval and you want to see chart for last 7 days you need to set period to 60(min) * 24(hr) * 7(days) => 10080 (that many measurements chart needs to hold)

Thanks for the reply. Not sure why I didn’t get the notification.

Yes nothing wrong with PHP in that directory. phpinfo(); works echo “super colour fragelistic expiala doshus”; works whilst $i < 20, $i++, echo $i; – works etc

Severus works Status2k works Just really need something with history that works as well as the other two do, but give full history, as you told me above. :)

Thank you! :D

Hello? So how can I view history? Scroll left/right to view history – last x days?

So to avoid having graph so tiny and unreadable. I want the width of the graph normal, but some way of scrolling left and right, OR, data over 24 hours, I can do Filter / Search to update and show different 24 hours.

Make sense?

So 1. Live 24 hour graph.

2. Access graphs for older than 24hrs by using query (Date: DD MM YYYY and Period drop-down: 1, 2, 6, 12, 24, 48 hours.)

3. Server from the list of enabled servers.

Does that make sense? Currently I must use 2 systems to access historical data.

THANK YOU!

hi!

“internet connection checking”

How to check?

Lazlo

I just ping google.com

‘period’ => 2016, // every 5min * 2016 => 7 days

2016 = 5 Mins? or 2016 = 7 days??
2016 / 300 = 6.72 ? or 2016 / 60 = 33.6 ??

I have no idea what this 2016 value is and what 2016 interval is in secs/mins/hours/days/weeks… Could you please respond?

Hello XRADO,

Can we have a custom page for viewing data older than the live graph? (e.g. older than 24 – 48 hours)

So then you can use this query to return:
- Server (drop-down selection),
- Start Date (yyyy/mm/dd),
- Period (1, 3, 6, 12, 24, 48 hours).

This would mean you can easily search and return data up to 30 days old. Or whatever you choose to save from your logs. e.g. Retain last 30 days at 1 minute interval. = 30×1440 = 43200 events in log for each server. (Q: How big will the log be, approx?)

Please let me know how hard it would be to implement something fundamental and operational? i.e. Doesn’t have to be “pretty”. :D

Quick Question: How do you modify the height of the graphs, so that they show the highest value at 80% height of graph? (So you can see fluctuation in greater detail).

Does that make sense? So can you change the height of the graph dynamically so that the points on the graph are higher and easier to read?

THANK YOU! :)

hi, i was on vacations, I’ll think about it

Great. So the 2016 = Points on Graph. If 1 min CRON, then 2016 min of history. If 5min CRON, then 7 days of history.

Question Not Answered:

1. Down-time events: Save a log of each downtime event (not every record of success). So this makes it feasible to save 30 days of events, and then 24hr of live graphs.

2. Quick Question: How do you modify the height of the graphs, so that they show the highest value at 80% height of graph? (So you can see fluctuation in greater detail).

3. See the left vertical axis (height of graph): http://i.imgur.com/FJE7Bjz.png

Why does the graph show 0.1, 0.1, 0.1…? Can this be changed to TWO decimal points for accuracy? Or is this a BUG????

Hi i just uploaded on to the serve and found that the services column mysql status shows it is down how ever the mysql server is running.

ps ax -o \’ c %P\’ | awk ‘{if (($2 1) &x%x ($1 ”’mysqld’”)) print $0}’ I understand that the above command fetches gthe mysqld from server when i run in terminal mode i get error the error read “Garbage option”

ps ax -o ‘ c %P’ | awk ‘{if (($2 1) &x%x ($1 “mysqld”)) print $0}’

and this is the line you should have in won.php

return (bool)shell_exec(‘ps ax -o \’ c %P\’ | awk \’{if (($2 1) &x%x ($1 ”\’’.$service.’\’”)) print $0}\’‘);

Which linux distro are you running?

Do you see mysqld if you run #ps aux | grep mysql ?

kind regards

Radovan Lozej

Thanks Radovan

No Updates in 3 Years. This is really disappointing. So much potential.

Should I just go purchase Status2k? or an alternative? I don’t get it…

I’m thinking about writing a new version in nodejs, maybe you motivated me.

I hope so! :D

i’ll d interested in your new version. I’m looking for a webserver monitor, but they’re all old scripts, and the newer ones, are very limited. Yours seem a better fit, but need updated technology.

Hi, Does this kind of thing work on a shared hosting plan server like godaddy?

Thanks.

Hi, if you can send me the output of script below, I can tell you if it will work for you. Depends a lot on system configuration.

put in wmontest.php <?php echo ‘ps: ’.shell_exec(‘ps ax’).”
\n”; echo ‘cpuinfo: ’.shell_exec(‘cat /proc/cpuinfo’).”
\n”; echo ‘uptime: ’.shell_exec(‘uptime’).”
\n”; echo ‘df: ’.shell_exec(‘df -hP’).”
\n”; ?>

wmon is showing mySQL as ‘down’, when it is definately up. Is something wrong with my server’s configuration, or something wrong with wmon?

Hi, check config.php under services array(‘mysql’,’mysqld’). If is set like this, wmon is checking if mysqld is running. From distro to distro mysql binary may have a different name. Try found out with this command “ps aux | grep mysql”.

Let me know what you found out.

best Rado.

It still shows mysql and mysqld down.

We did the following,

1. Added following configuration in config.php,

------ array(‘mysql’,’mysql’), array(‘mysql’,’mysqld’),

2. Now http://admin.playthebible.com/wmon99/ shows both services, but both are down.

3. Output of ps commad as below,

  1. ps aux | grep mysql mysql 6988 0.0 0.0 113124 1572 ? Ss 04:56 0:00 /bin/sh /usr/bin/mysqld_safe mysql 7126 0.1 0.2 1541788 163540 ? Sl 04:56 0:53 /usr/sbin/mysqld—basedir/usr—datadir/var/lib/mysql—plugin-dir/usr/lib64/mysql/plugin—log-error/var/lib/mysql/server.playthebible.com.err—open-files-limit 000—pid-file/var/lib/mysql/server.playthebible.com.pid root 17467 1.0 0.0 111608 27216 ? S 12:32 0:00 tailwatchd – chkservd – mysql check root 17512 0.0 0.0 112652 968 pts/0 S+ 12:32 0:00 grep—colorauto mysql ------

Please advice how to solve.

from your “ps aux | grep mysql” I see you should set “mysqld_safe” ... array(‘mysql’,’mysqld_safe’)
