Hello, is it easy to put in OpenCart E-commerce?

Hello,

This is not really suitable for OpenCart eCommerce. But I’m trying to achieve the same version for OpenCart eCommerce. It will have to happen in one to two weeks.

Ok so you are available please let me know.

Can this be integrated into Magento Commerce including all of the features in the video? Example, the dynamic content of featured items per category along with the category banners.

Hi,

No this is just a simple HTML menu. If you want to include this menu to Magento, you should modify and adapte it. But I’m trying to achieve the same version for OpenCart eCommerce and maybe for Magento. I haven’t realy time in this moment, but I’ll contact you when i will create a new module for these CMS

Thanks and regards.

Hi, can this menu be altered to have different widths, for instance, if mens clothes had two columns could the drop down display be narrower? It’s only that you have to bring your cursor right out of the zone to make it disappear.

Update to above: I read on a blog that the menu should wait 0.5 seconds before appearing, as this prevents the menu popping up every time a user passes their mouse pointer over the top. Is this possible to achieve, would be less time in creating different size widths.

Hi,

Sorry, I was on vacation all week, I had not seen your message. I do not really understand your question, what would you do with the menu? Do you have a link to show me an example? Would you add 0.5 seconds to bring up the sub-menu?

Regards, Alexandre.

Please ignore, just as I sent it, your email came through :) Will try it out now.

Hi Lexou, did you receive my email? The delay on the sub-menu would just allow people to mouse over the menu without it displaying and getting in the way. It is a common feature on a large number of e-commerce menus.

If this could be integrated, that would be fantastic.

kind regards

Hi trouble with IE because I use nth-child for multiple color do you know how to correct it ? Thank you

Hi zecat33,

If you want to create a menu with different color, compatible with Internet Explorer, you must add the following lines: (in your css file)

.nav>li{ /* li number 1 /
  background:black;
}
.nav>li>ul{ / ul in li number 1 /
  background:none;
}
.nav>li + li{ / li number 2 /
  background:red;
}
.nav>li + li>ul{ / ul in li number 2 /
  background:red;
}
.nav>li + li + li{ / li number 3 /
  background:orange;
}
.nav>li + li + li>ul{ / ul in li number 3 */
  background:orange;
}

add + li for number 4 and + li + li for number 5 etc…

Regards, Alexandre.

Hi

I tried but the sub-menu appear on the top left side and the main button in other place how i can change the position of the menu ?

Hi,

Can you give me an example ? (Private Message if you want). I think this is a css problem, or incomplete tag.

Best egards.

1. Which all browsers does it works ? 2. is the configuration of the menu is in

  • code or in jquery
  • Hi,

    My item works with all browsers, for cons, the configuration is manual in code. This script is only edit in HTML/CSS, no in JQuery.

    Most of the configuration will be done in css.

    Bests regards.
