Hello – Does this support custom taxonomies?
This plugin is related to posts. So if you meant to display feedback option on custom posts type then yes, this is possible.
hay’ does this support Revolution Slider?
Yeah, you can place the shortcode anywhere to display the feedback form.
Hello – any updates to my bug reports which are now months old?!
You replied several times that you would investigate asap but nothing happens! this is really bad support ;(
We have tried several times to generate issue our side but it’s working fine. Our main site also using this plugin and having heavy feedback traffic but still everything is fine. So if you can send me WP Login & FTP then we can check it at your end. My email is email@example.com
So you are saying you also having more the 10k reviews and when requesting /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wth_positive_helpful it loads in seconds?
I have generated 38.455 reviews by today – performance issues began at 10k or so. Load time increased to minutes in the mean time – I am not able to use the above URL any longer
I sent you login data several times, I also gave you a mysql slow log which clearly shows a query causing 8 seconds or so to run.
I don’t know what the code does, but performing this query in phpmyadmin takes 12 seconds:
SELECT post_id, count() as total_votes, (select count() from `wp_wthp_helpful_log` as wth where wth.post_id = wth2.post_id and wth.helpful=’yes’ ) as positive_votes FROM `wp_wthp_helpful_log` as wth2 group by wth2.post_id
I bet there are more queries taking to long causing the timeouts
Hi, any updates on this?
We’re working around it and will update you today.
Can you please review latest version 2.1.3 and let me know if still you’re having any issue.
no sorry – loads 2-3 minutes now and increasing. 37.743 items
/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wth_negative_helpful loads ok in seconds! 3.742 items
isn’t this quite obvious?
So now page is opening in the backend when reviews are +37k but loading time is 2-3 minutes. if yes, then i think it’s obvious because we’re using core api of wordpress for this.
Sorry do not understand – what exactly is the problem and, can you fix it? thanks Jan
With “obvious” I meant: many reviews = long loading time, less = shorter request time
Hi did you read my comment?
Yeah, 2 to 3 min loading time is expected when we have +30k reviews in the listing.
Hey, is this a joke? We are talking about this issue about half a year or longer, you told me several times that this was fixed or not an issue at all and now you are just saying “Yeah, 2 to 3 min loading time is expected” ?! unbelievable…
So … do you plan to fix it?
Or is this your software design? I mean this will definitely end in a timeout of the server depending on the hosting env.
Hi, any updates on this? :/
Hi, any updates?
I am a paying customer, this is really bad software design and a bad communication style, too.
Ignorance won’t solve the problem…
I hope all is well now and you’d like to update your negative rating.
thinking about buying, ill wait and see if the above really has an issue with slowing the site down ?
We’re testing it again with dummy thousands of feedback and uploading it again on codecanyon if any issue.
Is it possible to submit a feedback message anonymously?
Yeah, it’s possible. You can turn off login restriction using backend settings.
Performance problems are getting worse:
Now my wordpress dashboard is also affected:
This query is taking 31 seconds, time increasing with number of ratings:
SELECT post_id, count() as total_votes, (select count() from `wp_wthp_helpful_log` as wth where wth.post_id = wth2.post_id and wth.helpful=’yes’ ) as positive_votes
FROM `wp_wthp_helpful_log` as wth2 group by wth2.post_id
Sidenote: Your offered refund won’t solve this problem. I can understand that you want to get rid of me but I think it would be a better idea to take a look into your sql statements.
Can we contact on skype and we resolve this issue directly at your end? and please give me FTP and WP Login also to firstname.lastname@example.org so we can resolve it.
Hey, your last update solved the issue. Thanks a lot!!!
I recommend to somehow “debug” this case with your support team, it almost took a year to solve the problem. I always tried to clearly report the problem, I even gave you example queries and login to my page 2 times. I spent several hours with this.
Hi, lastly we’re checking on 30k records on localhost so this bug was not producing but after inserting 70k we could see the issue. Now it won’t be an issue.
Overall great plugin! One problem – The Yes/No columns on the Posts page are not ordering correctly.by number of votes.
I just checked it again and it’s working fine for me.
Not on mine. I’ll send you a screenshot.
screenshot of my sorted column at wp-admin/edit.php?orderby=helpfull_yes&order=desc . https://img42.com/98LO5
Please email to me at email@example.com. Above screenshot is not working for me.
I want to buy the PRO version of this plugin. Does this plugin have to be renewed yearly?
Also, I have two sites. May I use it on both sites? I use the FREE version on both sites.
No, you need to purchase it only once and you can use it forever.
No, You need to purchase separate license for each site. You can only use one license on one site.
Thank you! So this adds up to $30 for both sites I take it.
