Hi Is it compatible with Android 10? In-app payment is supported? To remove ads
Yeah I hope so it shouldn’t have any issues with newer Android versions. IAP are yet to be implemented but those can be done easily.
Do you have demo app? I want to test them….
Yes demo app is mentioned in live preview. Here is the link as well : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.voicetyping.speechtotext&hl=en_US&gl=US
Hi. Is this a plugin? Can this work with any blog/news theme?
Its an Android app
Hi, I am interested to buy your app but i need some customization required like(when i display any word on the screen user will speak same word what i displayed then app will give him one point he will say again the same word he will get another point)
Hi, Please email your requirement at leading.malik@gmail.com Right now we’re busy
how can i get demo?
is it free?
Google services offer limited number of hits per month, For higher volume need to buy package
hi. your app uses google service for speech recognition?
Yes it uses Google Services
does it come with admob integrated? i can’t see any information on the discerption page but i can see the ads on the app?
Yes it has Admob.
But isn’t google api a paid service based on number of words and hours or data used etc? I don’t think there is free version. We cannot offer free app using the paid service (that also based on data used). That is not clear in any of the product description so I cannot use this app at all…what do i need to do for refund? (as all the information you need to provide, what other services we need to buy (commercial one) is not there. I know there are many other apps in here which are much cheaper, the only reason i bought it was it said it supports nepali language too….
API doesn’t cost anything. It will work as per demos. Also already mentioned in detail that it supports Nepali. If it doesn’t serve what is mentioned in demo apk and description then I would be happy to issue refund.
I bought it as it said it supports nepali..check your description but in the app i don’t see option for nepali….if it does not support it, it is misleading …I need a refund….Can you please elaborate? Which api are you using?
Hello nepfrank, Thank You for purchasing the item.
It uses Google API. For certain languages Google provides partial support. You can add Nepali to it as well. Check language shortcodes on below link that you want to add!
https://cloud.google.com/speech-to-text/docs/languagesYou will need to add language shortcode in array mLanguages located in MainActivity.java
Thanks
I am bit confused with this app. Are you just calling or embeding google voice tool (rather than using you own tool and using api to call voice engine), rather actual google mic is being opened? something more native to your app would have been better.
Hi nepfrank, Its a standard way to capture voice and API is being offered this way. Embedding own tool will lack many features and comes up with a lot of server cost and coding that won’t be feasible.
so it is something which is already available in android? And you are using making GUI interface or screen for it? What i mean is even if you use api it should be in background. but in this case, it should looks embedded but it is switch to other application.
Check this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.speechtotext.speak.voice.chat.write.converter.notes
This is the standard way to do it.
Congratulations! Nice Work, GLWS
Thanks a lot
