I submitted a support ticket on 27 August heard nothing until 31 August when I received a message saying my support ticket was being closed as they had not had a response from me. This really is poor I have not received anything from them and still waiting a response to my support request. In their email closing my ticket it says you can change the status of the ticket if I still need help. When you login to view and amend your ticket there is no option to change the status! I have been waiting 4 days now. Poor!
Hello, Please check you email spam folder as sometimes the ticket replies can land there. If you wan share your alternate email id, we can forward the ticket reply there as well.
broken in wordpress 5.5, customer support answering question is the same for every question ask in the support page :/ just like a Bots not a real human , so sad
Hello, The issue is arising from one of the plugins or theme which is dependent upon "jquery-migrate" which is no longer enabled by default since WordPress 5.5. This plugin/theme in-turn is affecting WPBakery Page Builder and causing the issue with backend editor.
To fix this, you can install a plugin: Enable jQuery Migrate Helper (https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/) on your setup so that there is no such issue. Please note that this is a temporary fix until the plugin/theme which causes the issue, release an update with a fix.
