Hello,

this is just a bug report, I’m not looking for support.

With the block “Separator with Text” the “Element ID” value is not added to the page.

WPBakery Page Builder Version 6.2.0

Best Regards NexusFred

That odd.

I retry with a blank page and all other plugins disabled. The CLASS is added but ID still not added to the code:

How to achieve a Fixed Height And Scrollable Row or Column

I want to insert a column inside a Row (or row inside a section) I want the column to have a fixed height (not more than 80% of mobile phone screen height). But I want to place a very long article inside it. So this means that the column will be scrollable, so that visitors will have to scroll that area in order to read what is contained inside

I built this page with another builder (my first attempt when I was a newbie), I asked for this exact help and got a solution. Since then, i have not worked with that builder, so i have forgotten how to use it. But recently my new themes are done with WPBakery and I have learnt some things and want to stick here.

I want to rebuild that page with WPBakery and also achieve that same thing they helped me achieve with the other builder. I dont know if its allowed, here is the link to how I achieved it with the other builder https://wordpress.org/support/topic/fixed-height-and-scrollable-column/

Hello, By default the page builder does not support scrollable content within a row or column. This will require some CSS code customisation to set a height for the row and then use overflow CSS property to make the content inside scrollable.

I read a lot of replies here and saw that by default wpbakery doesn’t come with such by default. That was why I supplied as much information as possible, hoping that it will get me some help.

Being that the case required and how to achieve it with the other builder was given to me, I am thinking it’s just a matter of streamlining it for me on how to adjust it to work with wpbakery builder.

From the link I attached, the css solution given to me was

.scrollable-col .fl-col-content { max-height: 80vh; overflow-x: scroll; }

(The row/column I’d is SCROLLABLE-COL)

Pls can you translate it for me to work with your own builder? I am stuck in the middle

I have WPBakery for all my websites and themes. All my business is based on WPbakery, and therefore I am 100% depended and also limited to your page-builder. Therefore I am extremely sorry to see that you in 2020 – when all mobile apps and responsive sites offer horizontal scrolls – have not kept up with the development and trends. You should add option to add multiple columns to exceed the width, meant for horizontal scroll. And/ OR, you could very easily add a row-functionality to scroll specific rows (full-height rows also) horizontally. If you want to keep up with future competing page-builders and alternative CMSses, this is definitely something you should apply for next update. Actually it surprises me that you have not yet implemented this feature (which is not even qualified as a feature, but rather a MUST functionality) after so many years on the market as the worlds largest page-builder.

I am sure you have already considered this, question is: When can your customers expect this to be implemented?

Hello, You can enable the horizontal scroll by disabling responsive stacking of columns under page builder general settings. Once done, you can then increase the theme container width to be more than that or visible area. This will add a horizontal scrollbar to the content which extends beneath the visible area.

Any chance in a future version you can add an event handler to “wpb_prepare_tab_content”, thanks!

In js_composer_front.js there is a function called “wpb_prepare_tab_content” which basically re-triggers javascript as needed (like when opening accordions/tabs).

It would be nice for other plugin developers adding custom WPBakery shortcodes that really on javascript (sliders, carousels, masonry grids…etc) to have their own functions trigger when wpb_prepare_tab_content runs rather then having to listen for the tab/accordion and other events. So it’s more inline with how WPBakery is expected to work.

In other words have something like the following:

$( document ).trigger( 'wpb_prepare_tab_content', panel);

Make sense?

Sorry if I wasn’t clear enough!

Thank you!!

ps: I’ve written some code to make WPBakery Tabs accessible (add aria labels, switch tabs using left/right keys) – would be great to have the tabs accessible by default I’d be happy to share the code if interested.

Testing on latest version of the plugin and default WP theme the “vc_tta-o-non-responsive” doesn’t seem to work – https://kb.wpbakery.com/docs/wpbakery-page-builder-how-tos/how-to-prevent-tabs-and-tours-becoming-an-accordion-on-mobile/

Is this a confirmed issue? If not, I wanted to report it ;)

hi, I’m creating a page with the a certain category products using the wp Bakery Page Builder plugin (Product Category element) and there’s no next page showing. Only the first 12 products are showing (I’ve chosen to display 12 products per page). Why is that? Thank you!

hi there Rohan, my support has expired! The issue must occurred because of an update of yours. Since pagination was supported by default! Even so.. what if the issue is not because of your plugin? I would have paid the support without being able to solve it? So is that issue because of your plug in? Thank you!

Can not set accordion color, changes will not save after updating to wordress 5.4.1 and page builder 6.2. Everything was perfect before, now accordions are washed out grey with white typeface. They were blue before and working perfectly. Has tried clearing cache, resetting permalinks, updating page, checking and unchecking disable / enable classic editor, etc etc etc.

Update: Nevermind. The settings are in the Column Settings under Responsive Options Tab.

The Responsive Control for Devices controls are not showing up. The tab for the controls are missing. Do I have something disabled that is hiding the tab?

Hi there, Please tell me know how to change the size of the photos that open in a lightbox on images gallery so that they take up more of the screen.

Please see the screenshot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/13tyWgiLe0yPmxFrT035JeVQ6_0osaB23/view?usp=sharing

Thank you, ginng

Hi Rohan,

Can you send me the js code to change the display size? For example, about 20px larger than the default. I will rely on your js code to customize it to suit my needs.

Thank you!

Hello team, I am using a theme with wpbakery included. I have a problem with wpbakery and edit page screen in mobile where wp bakery button makes “draft”, “preview” and “Update” button misaligned. Please fix the issue..as it’s a mess with default wordpress post functionality. I prefer Gutenberg for writing post mostly.

nothing

Hello, Yes, we had report of an issue with nonce but unfortunately the standard grids were not able to render without it. At present a workaround can be to disable caching for the page where grids are added.

Can vc hide theme elements like the slider it came with if the theme is not built for vc?

Hello, The page builder can hide the default elements and any custom elements added by the theme using vc_remove_element function.

Hello, I am afraid, the page builder can only work within the area where default WordPress editor loads.

Hello, I am reporting a Real bug:

WpBakery admin > Grid editor > new grid: the item “Categories of articles” don’t display on screens below 768px (iPad, mobile …). No problem above 1024px.

J’ai testé (installations brutes): - on three installations on three different websites (Worpress 5.3 and 5.4) - I deactivated all extensions - I haven’t changed the default WpBakery settings - I deleted all the CSS code

I can’t use this important function, it’s a real problem. Thanks

The “Gutenberg Editor” button is displaying even when the Classic Editor plugin is active (network activated on a multisite).

Thanks!

ps: Any planned updates coming soon?

Hello, The Gutenberg editor can be disabled under: WPBakery Page Builder -> General Settings. We are planning to release an update by this week or early next week.

Introduced bug in 6.1 is Grid Builder – to reproduce go into a Post Grid element -> Item Display -> choose a template -> Modify template -> data missing?? also the grid type of Single or Double etc doen’t get selected. So on first load normal element is missing but hover has data if you choose double. When you save it doesn’t save. Vanilla WordPress with just the WP Bakery plugin installed can reproduce this bug.

Hello, I tried adding basic grid: default grid template at our end and it is displaying the elements present within it: https://prnt.sc/rwhn6i

Hi there. I’ve found a compatibility issue between this plugin and WooCommerce Stripe Gateway. I isolated the issue as your plugin. It not only makes the Stripe fields unfillable, but it also makes it so WooCommerce’s coupon code feature doesn’t work. The background errors I’m seeing are: Uncaught TypeError: $window.scrollBottom is not a function and Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ’defaults’ of undefined. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I have updated to the latest version of WP Bakery Page Builder version 6.1. The page builder is part of theme that we have purchased. When clicking on “You have an outdated version of WPBakery Page Builder Design Options. It is required to review and save it.” I am directed to page that says “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

I do have administrator rights.

Please could you assist with a fix, possibly via phpMyAdmin, if necessary.

Thanks and kind regards

Hello, The issue is because the design options are disabled at your end as the theme is using integration code. You can get in touch with the theme developer and get rid of the integration code used in the theme to get them back.

I can’t activate the front end editor. it does not appear in the role manager (admin)

Hello, This can occur if the frontend editor is disabled by the theme using vc_disable_frontend. You can get in touch with the theme developer and get rid of the above code from the theme to get it back.

Hi, I purchased a theme on Envato market a month ago and it came with WP Bakery plug-in, it worked just fine for couple of weeks then yesterday I try to save changes then click “Preview” for any page, I get this ” Error 503. Service Unavailable” . I disabled all plugins and re-enabled them one by one to figure out whether any of them was the culprit. The only time I got the error was when WP Bakery Page Builder was activated. When I turn it off, everything works just fine meaning WP Bakery is causing this error. Any ideas how to fix this? I have built almost all pages with WP Baker and they’re messed up when the plugin is deactivated.
