I am trying to use this menu in a DWT website and following your installation examples: 1, 2 & 3. “Make sure 1) jQuery, 2) vsmenu.js, 3) vsmenu.css is attached to your document:” by installing in the .dwt below: </<!-- main css --> <link href="../styles/site.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> <!-- Rersponsive Vertical Menu --> <script type="text/javascript" src="path_to/jquery.min.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="js/vsmenu.js"></script> <link href="..css/vsmenu.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> <!-- media queries css --> <link href="../styles/media-queries.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

and, have installed the css and img folders in the root and the five provided .js files in the root js folder.

my test site is href=”http://www.marthadon.com/autumn-flowers-mobile/”.

Menu is not displaying properly. Can you suggest where I am going wrong?

Seems to be working fine on my end, have you already fixed it.

Thanks – yes, I solved the problem last night. I had to move the css & js folders to the dwt folder, rather than the root; also, corrected the “attach to document” path references. Working great now!!!

Reading through the comments I have come across this problem already but I couldn’t find the solutions.

When the menu has subcategories, is there any way to have the link that reveals child links to also open to a distinct page.

here is the site I am building ..hardly any of the pages are built out.

http://zoefeast.com/sandbox/tidyyourroom/ Click on Services > child links open, but I also want the action of clicking on service to also open this page http://zoefeast.com/sandbox/tidyyourroom/st-louis-retirement-community/ which is the home page of this category.

Thanks in advance

is there any way to change the window width at which the menu collapses to the mobile version?

You can edit the vsmenu.js file and at line 5 you will find this: var scr_width = 400; You can change 400 to any number. Its the screen width in pixels when the menu collapses to mobile version.

perfect…thanks!

Hi! can you plz let me know if your vertical responsive menu will be compatible with avada wordpress theme? thanks! Hanna

Yes it should work with every theme. But keep in mind its not a wordpress plugin. You’re going to have to embed it in your theme yourself.

Hi is it possible for you to provide the old onclick version?

Regards

Alan

yeah, email me I’ll modify it and email it to you.

Hi there. Great plugin – very easy to implement. Is there any chance you could provide the ‘on click’ version please rather than hover? Thank you

Email me, I think I may have it, I’ll email you back with the plugin.

I need to do a menu similar to the one found on this page http://www.elite-empresas.cl/catalogo/72-multiflex . That is if I choose say a 3rd level menu to reload the page and have that level selected. Can I do this with your script ?

Email sent.

Thanks a lot for your support ! Now it is working just fine.

Ever thought of making a WordPress version of this plugin? I need something like this for WordPress.

Hi, I developed this a long time ago, and I don’t think its feasible anymore for me to work on it. Sorry about that :D

Hi, your vertical menu is really cool and i love it so far. But i have one problem. If i expand the menu on mobile phones (samsung galaxy or iphone) and scroll/wipe down to see all points of the menu, the menu close after scrolling. So i cant select one. I hope you can help me. If needed, i can send you my js file or can give you a url with an example. Best regards, Enrico.

Hi,
This item is not actually supported anymore, sorry about that.
