Hi, what is the username and password to my usertrack panel. From Wodpress (did not work), Envato? I see info “If you do not know what your password is see the Quick Start Guide” – sorry but I can not find it anywhere. Please help ASAP

I am glad you figured that out.
For the next update I am actually planning to remove the default password and prompt the user after installation to set his own password. This should be better from both security and usability points of view.

Yes, I am planning to continue releasing updates based on community feedback. Currently there’s a big list of updates being worked on (auto-minify tracker, UI/performance improvements, export list of visitors as CSV, more filtering options for visitors list, etc…).
Every purchase increases the development speed as it allows me to spend more time working on userTrack instead of working on something else, so the more buyer the more frequent and better the updates become.

The default account is admin/letmein (mentioned in the docs).
The default account will be removed in future versions and you will be prompted to add an account after installation, sorry for the confusion.

first of all I like your work a lot.
Then two questions:
- is it possible to change the admin name, and or remove the user adding a new one with ID different from 1 and administration credentials? I see a potential exposure to brute force that I don’t like, considering that I think these are sensitive data.
- my installation seems to work fine on all pages but the homepage (https://cleverframes.com). The console gives this error:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()
The error is about a JS file optimized by Autoptimize that I use for code optimization.
Any suggestion apart from trying to disble Autoptimize for the page?

1) Yes, it is possible. Login into the default admin user, add a new user and set it’s access level to 5. You can then login into the new user and delete the default admin user from there.
2) That’s very strange. So the homepage can not be loaded within userTrack? If I access your homepage I only get a JS error from another script, but the tracking seems to work. Can you send me an e-mail at email@example.com mentioning your userTrack login info?

I have already bought your plugin, wordpress version. I made the installation but when I tryed turn on the plugin there is critical error:

maybe this is the problem with my server or something, but I don’t know how to fix it.
Your server doesn’t have the shell exec command enbled. You could try removing the mentioned lined from the script and it should work anyway.
I have bought it . I have installed it through the wordpress normal with zip format . The plugin is activated but appears a box for username and password and If you do not know what your password is see the Quick Start Guide.. I have check the quick start guide and i am not pretty sure what I must do it . mydomain/userTrack/install.php is 404 error …... Please, provide me a step by step full guide
The default info is admin/letmein.
You can either go to your WordPress wp-admin and from the userTrack menu in the sidebar choose “Pages to track” and the tracker will be automatically added onto those pages.
If you want to track another website or don’t want to use that menu you have to add a script on every page that you want to track. Here’s a small description of how to do that: https://docs.usertrack.net/installation/adding-the-tracking-code.html
For WordPress you can also follow a tutorial likes this one https://www.ostraining.com/blog/wordpress/custom-js/ to see how you can add scripts to your site.

I have installed it . I have used the admin name and the password . I have activated over the whole website. But i have try to see how it works using 3 smartphones and 3 different pcs and is still at 0 viewers …... is it normal? it takes some days or so . os which could be the problem? pd. the display of the plugin workks well but unfortunately 0 visitors …..

I had a little problem. I got
Refused to execute script from ‘https://******.**/wp-content/plugins/wp-usertrack/userTrack/helpers/getIP.php' because its MIME type (‘text/html’) is not executable, and strict MIME type checking is enabled.
error in Chrome’s web console and the heatmap didn’t work.
I solved this problem by adding
after <?php line in getIP.php file.

Hello, i want to know if i use this plugin, will it affect my website load page speed?
No, it does not affect website loading speed. The tracker script only has 5kb compressed and it is only loaded after your website has finished loading. All the data sent after is sent in batches, asynchrnously so it doesn’t slow your site.
Also, I recommend changing the default password for your userTrack panel.

Hi, I disabled rocket loader but the problem didn’t fix my problem. After I disabled caching all together but the problem seems to exist. Do you know what else could cause the problem or how to fix it?
It seems to work fine now for me, it was probably just the cache/cookies not being updated. Do you have any other cache enabled apart from the CloudFlare cache?
I tried using userTrack on your site but the caching really seems to break the app, for example I delete a recording, it is deleted but for some parts of the site the old data is still displayed for the cache.
Do you have any idea why the caching is so aggressive?
I only have super cacher enabled. I don’t know any other cache plugin.
Can you add the userTrack panel URL to the exclusion list of the caching plugin? As it seems to break the app.

I have tried disabling the cache for userTrack, I don’t know if the exclusion actually works. Try refreshing the userTrack panel a few times.
I can login, but I still have some issues. For example when I try to add a new domain to a new user it doesn’t seem to be working and when I’m in live mode the recording of 30sec lasts for a couple of seconds. No skipping pausing was enabled.
I think most of the issues are related to the caching plugin. The domain/user is added but the cache still shows the old data.
Would it make a difference if I create a subdomain and added the plugin over there with a fresh wordpress install?
As long as there is no caching plugin enabled it should work.
