I am trying to like this plugin but seem to not be able to get any support using the member support forum. So maybe I will have some luck here.
Issue 1: In regards to my question. We have a very detailed multi-page customer profile form made with Gravity Forms, it is not necessary to fill out for registration, nor do we want the customer to fill it out while registering. is there any way that we can incorporate this form in the user profile section? If not, does your plugin allow for the creation of multi-page forms? It is also essential that these fields do not get inserted into the backend wordpress user profile.
We previously used Profile Builder Pro, however the fact that it integrated all the fields into the wordpress user info made editing the users impossible because it required the completing of all fields by the admin.

Issue 1 – We dont have any integrations with Gravity Forms plugin. So you will have to integrate the 2 plugins with custom work to have a gravity form inside profile

I am using the WooCommerce Account Funds plugin, however the user’s account funds do not show up under the wooCommerce tab of your plugin, They present themselves as a separate tab within the WooCommerce account info. How do we fix this problem??
We only support Woocommerce default features. Other woocommerce addons may or may not work with upme. Please create a ticket on our support forum with your site details to check if its possible to support this plugin

I have further questions: Can I access profile (detailed) user in 2 different pages? Currently I can setup the page via Upme Settings > UPME Profile Page. I need another “user-only-table” – with no header, footer & sidebar page to display the user profile via app. Thanks
You can create another page and add the profile shortcode. However, when you click on the name or profile image, it will redirect to the original profile page since we can’t have 2 profile pages.
Hello, is the $29 fee a one-time fee or a yearly fee?
Its a one time fee with free support for first 6 months. After that you can continue to use the plugin and get updates without any fees. However, if you need support, you have to purchase support for every 6 months and the cost will be around 20.

WordPress allows you to have more than one user role per account. So its not an issue for UPME
Ok, how can they choose their roles?
You can enable UPME Settings -> Registration Options -> Select User Role at Registration setting. However, we only have features for selecting one role and multiple roles cannot be selected.
You will have to use another plugin to assign multiple roles. Once assigned upme can work with multiple roles
Can UPME be used with contact 7 forms in order to setting form acces on the basis of users’ roles?

If you have a complicated website, make sure you leave LOTS of time for development if you’re going to use this plugin. I have a quick turn around for my clients, but I have to pad in several weeks to get bugs worked out when using this. Sadly, it’s still one of the better plugins available just wish that support was quicker and that there weren’t random issues that cause delays… like user not being able to change password!!!

Obviously, the support takes longer because it’s just emails going back and forth and that takes longer than a chat session or a phone call. Your plugin is a really good plugin, but I keep running into issues that I wish wouldn’t happen, like the password reset issue. I’m sure your support team will resolve it, just wish it didn’t happen in the first place.
Yes. That’s the normal support procedure for Codecanyon plugins and its not mandatory to have chat support. We can’t afford it at this stage. I checked your previous ticket and it was delayed since you were not able to provide access to your social apps. Unfortunately, we cant do anything until we have the proper access to test the issues.
Even the current issue is being delayed since I dont have access to wp-admin section. Basically, these are not bugs in upme. So we cant prevent them. Only thing we can do is check the conflicts and let you know how to resolve them. For that we need both parties to be available at the same time.
Hopefully, you can provide the details quickly and we can resolve it quickly
Totally understand not being at the point of chat support. As for the previous social app ticket, there was a couple delays in the middle due to a death in the family, but other than that all emails were responded to as timely as possible. I’m assuming that the 3 days in between a couple of your responses are just as acceptable and also contributed to the delays? As is the issue with emails and messages, I set up a new user login with the email requested as soon as I saw the request. Unfortunately, you did not specify that you would need admin privileges so I gave you the same permission as our typical user since that’s who is having the issue. As for the admin permissions, the user that was set up on the last support ticket was still the same and available from the last support ticket – surprised you didn’t try it since you knew you had access then. I also sent you the information as soon as I received the email.
Of course, that was several hours after my response. That’s what I meant about needing to pad in extra days. I don’t work a typical 40 hour work week (aka M-F 8-5)... I work at sporadic hours to accommodate my other full time job. So yes, sometimes because your responses are several hours later, then due to the time at which the response was made (aka 4:00 pm, 10:00 pm, 12:26 am), I can’t always respond immediately. So just one back and forth can take a whole day or longer depending on what is going on at my end. That’s why I suggested to those getting this plugin to be aware that if there is a possibility of support being needed, they need to consider that it could take a long time to get things resolved. Also, as I said, your plugin is very good and I’m still using it and will still use it on websites… I just have to allow extra development time when I use it (I normally go from design to launch in 3 days for a small business website, 7-10 days for larger, when I use your plugin I will now give a 3 week turnaround).
I get that you are just trying to reinforce that you are a qualified and good plugin, but don’t throw your client under the bus to make yourself look better. And don’t be surprised if your client keeps responding with reasons to validate their claim. If you had a particular need addressed, you should’ve sent a private message. I really don’t like stating that the delays were not just on my end, but that you too had 3 days in between responses. You should take a sales class to learn how to respond to emails appropriately. I’m not offended as I was in sales from a long time and know exactly where you’re coming from… there are just better ways!

Sorry i could have been more clear on the login details and need to check the admin side. We always request the login details even if its available in previous tickets. We expect the clients to change site passwords after issues are resolved so that there are no risks and most clients do it. So when asking for login details, clients generally provide the new details or say we can use the old ones. If I have used the details from your previous ticket, you may not have been aware that I am login to admin side to test this issue. That’s why we request the details, so that client is aware of what type of verification is being done.
it seems like our timezones doesnt fit well. In such cases, we hae asked the clients to specify a preferred time frames so that both parties are available at the same time. We can do the same thing here
Sorry that you feel offended. I didnt have any such intention. I was just trying to explain what’s happening. We don’t use support as a sales tactic. We doesn’t say our support is super quick. We have a good plugin, but we can definitely improve support and that I accept.

Yes you can create a frontend profile. We dont have built-in address field. You can create any custom field and name it as address field.
Will this override the default wordpress backend profile?
You will have UPME frontend profile as well as WordPress default backend profile. UPME won’t override the backend profile

You can search users by profile fields and show list of users. We don’t have features for displaying posts lists based on user search
when I link woocommerce to UPME, does it show more than just the billing/shipping address?
Will it also show order history?
Woocommerce checkout will only show the default Woocommerce fields. UPME fields are not available in Woocommerce registration or checkout.
You can show order history inside a profile tab.

Hi, I have a question. Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Matija Baric and I am a full time freelance web developer which works with EgTech and Adizes. Initially UPME plugin, which is currently installed on www.adizes.com/register is of Version 2.0.17 (2014.07.07). We are getting unintended registrations in the back of the database, we believe that the outdated UPME plugin is causing the problem so we want to update it to the newest stable version. Since the employee at Adizes purchased it in 2014 and he is no where to be found, we have simple question, what are the steps to upgrade it from our current version to the newest one and preserving the current form and logic on www.adizes.com/register. Are we facing some kind of possible problems during the upgrade. Would you be so kind to give some insights so we can buy the license in peace. Thank you in advance Laura Goycochea & Matija Baric.
We haven’t added many features regarding to spam prevention in recent versions. So I am not sure whether upgrading will resolve the issue.
This is a huge upgrade and hence first you will have to check it on a test site. I dont recommend adding such a huge update to live site without proper testing.
If you can provide the purchase code of the current license, I can give you the upme files. However, you will have to find the account details of previous purchase or purchase a new license to get the future updates.
