This app template is a sort of “challenge” against WhatsApp, WeChat and all moderns chat apps
Umbrellas is a super minimal, old-fashioned conversations app where you can quickly login/sign up by just choosing a nickname and password, search for other users to chat with, no pictures or media, just text or links!
You can directly block offensive users by a left-swipe on a User’s cell in the Home screen and tap Block/Unblock button
Why calling it Umbrellas? Because we’ve got inspired by an old chat website called Under Debbie’s Blue Umbrella, discovered while reading Stephen King’s Mr. Mercedes book
We hope you’ll enjoy this challenge as well as we did!
Since its backend is by Parse you don’t have to buy any domain/hosting, there are NO php files to upload to a web server so you’ll save some money for sever side. Worried about Parse shutting down? It won’t, please check this out: http://fvimagination.tumblr.com/post/153383547781/parse-sdk-will-not-shutdown-in-2017-thanks-to
