For those who haven’t tried it yet, you can embed public Facebook videos in the grid the same way youtube videos are embedded. Simply strip the url out of the iframe embed code provided by Facebook (use the little pull-down arrow at the top right of the Facebook video post to find the embed code), and match the ‘width’ number with the width that’s configured for the UGP lightbox.
This is good to know, I wasn’t aware of this.

Hopefully an easy question. For some reason my MP4s are only playing audio, no video. I have been pulling my hair out for 3 days trying to figure out what it is. I have ruled out that it’s the video files, it’s not. Any idea why this might happen?
NVM. Found it. Conflict in my on code. Sorry.
Great. If you have more questions please let me know.
I would like to display a specific text between the menu and the pictures grid.
This text would be an introduction text for the pictures diplayed.
This text (they are several) will be displayed according to the menu object selected.
Any advice ?
Thank you for your help.
That is a bit more complicated then it looks because the entire grid is positioned based on the menu height by the px, adding HTML content there will complicate things and requires some serious code modifications, right now I am not available for custom work.
You can however add the text before the menu. I am sorry I can’t do more.
Ok thanks for your reply. That won’t be a problem if i put some texts before the menu. i’ll do that.
is there a way to sort a specific text according to the item menu selected. IE menu item 1 selected displays text n°1, menu item 2 selected displays text n°2 etc..
2 things at first :
-sorry for my english level
-congratulations for all your creative templates.
Now, i’ll try to explain my question …
I’m really interested about the ultimate grid pro.
I want to use it for my website where i got to show a lot of projects with a lot of images for each.
I want to use the ultime grid pro to show each project… then when a project is selected i want to be able to show all the pictures for that project.
My question is : is it possible to open the revolution media gallery into an iframe when a clic is made on a picture.
Will it work on computer and smartphone ?
or maybe you got another idea on that subject.
Yes it will work in an iframe or normal page.
Best regards. Tibi -FWD.
thx for information …
i’ll get your templates soon
“Hi guys. If you have any suggestion for something to be added in a future update please let me know I am planning an update and I want to know your thoughts.”
The top item on my list would be ‘slideshow support for videos’, i.e., when a youtube video completes (not before), the lightbox advances to the next item and if it’s a video, it starts playing it. I’m sure this is doable, because you can do it manually and I know you’re using the youtube API already for the youtube playlist feature.
I have noted your request.
Hi. FYI – the UGP grids will not load/run in the Facebook iOS in-app browser.
Scenario is: User is in the Facebook or Facebook Messenger app on an iPhone for iPad. A website link is posted in a Facebook feed or in a Facebook message. The user clicks on the posted link. The in-app Facebook browser launches and renders the web page. The web page loads, but the UGP grids do not.
1. I tested with my page and with your UGP demo page. Same result.
2. Other js code seems to be running ok.
3. The grids load fine in the iPad and iPhone non-facebook browsers (e.g., Safari).
This is a big deal because it means that anyone who is using the Facebook/Messenger app on an iPhone or iPad (==lots) is going to experience the problem when they click on a link posted in Facebook/messenger to a site with the UGP grid.
Let me know if you have any ideas on what might be causing this. Cheers.
I never worked with the in-app Facebook browser so I don’t know what to say, maybe their browser is not able to run complex js code,I am not sure but I will try to look into this.
Ok, thanks. I’m also looking into what I can do with js or PHP to force my page to run in the native browser instead.
I’m interested in purchasing this gallery code but I only need it to dynamically pull in youtube playlists. Is this possible? Your youtube example is not working – http://www.webdesign-flash.ro/p/ugp/dv-youtube.html
Ye it’s working, the problem there is that the youtube playlist has been removed this is why you see that error. I will fix this issue on the demo page asap.
I would just like to also suggest the feature of being able to filter images by multiple categories. Such as Photos but then also live photos or studio photos.
I’ve noted your request.
Is it possible to add a download button to download images? next to the next / zoom buttons?
This is possible only with code modifications, please send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
