Hello, wondering if the plugin does display multiple posts/woocommerce products?

Hi,

What exactly are you trying to achieve?

Would I be able to add a square logo in the info box of a marker? I run a directory and need a map for my homepage that is responsive. Is there a demo of the admin so I can test it’s abilities? Thanks

Hi,

There is no online demo, but you can insert any HTML code in the info boxes.

We need a mapping solution that automatically pins BuddyPress Groups. I.e. there will be a ‘master map’ that displays all BuddyPress groups, and when a user clicks on a pin, they will go to that group. Can your plugin be configured to do so? If so, how simple/extensive would it be?

Hi,

It can’t be done out of the box, some code will need to be written. Unfortunately I can’t help with customizations like that, and it doesn’t seem like a 5 minute job.

Hi there, plugin looks really great! Got some pre-sale questions:

1. Which font are you using for the info box?

1. Can I change the font family used in the info box to a custom font? If yes, how is it done?

2. Can the headline (location name) in the info box be active, meaning be a link to a blog post? Like in the info boxes of these map markers: http://www.atlasobscura.com/articles/all-11000-places-in-the-atlas-on-one-map

4. Can I add an image to the info box?

Thx!

Hi,

1. You can use the browser’s inspector to see the font that was used.

2. Yes, but you need to do some modification to the CSS. Again, please use the browser’s inspector to see where you need to make changes.

3. Yes it can be a link. When editing the info window simply enter HTML link tag instead of plain text. Like this – link to post

4. You can do that in the “Content” field at the bottom, using an HTML image tag.

Hi, I want to buy this if it allows 30 locations. Other plugins are limited to 9 because of Google’s limitation to fewer than 10 locations per map with the free API. Searching these comments, I find you answering 2 years ago that your plugin supported 50 locations for in one of your tests. But I think Google changed the rules since then. How many locations does this plugin allow me to use in August 2017?

Hi,

I’m not familiar with these API changes. I just checked this page now – https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/usage

And I can’t see any limit on the number of locations.

I’m using your plugin (awesome btw) as well as the EventOn plugin. They both use the Google Maps API, so when I disable the API from loading through EventOn, Uber Maps works fine, but the maps don’t load on my events. When I leave the API loading on EventOn, and disable the API on UberMaps, EventOn maps work fine, but the Uber Maps map completely disappears.

Any idea how I can make them play nicely?

Unfortunately, I can’t suggest you a solution for that case.

I went ahead and hacked your code, and added:

if (location.href == ‘locations url’)

to the uberGoogleMap_loadScript function. It’s not ideal, but it works. Would be great if this script wasn’t loading on every page of the site. Ideally, you only load the scripts on the pages where the map is being displayed and not on every page on the site. It’s a great plugin.

I’m glad that you managed to find a solution for your case.

Hi!

I am trying to create a new map and everything works, but I want to use a custom style I created with snazzymaps (as written on the link). The map with the custom design seems to work on the map editor but it does not appear on my blog post, I can only see a blank space. If I switch from “custom” to “preset” it appears. But that’s not the style I want.

Could you please help me?

Hello, Thank you very much for your question and feedback! It was very useful in improving our product. It turned out that there was a bug regarding this integration. The chief developer is fixed this bug and within a few hours, you will be able to download the new enhanced version of the plugin. :)

Just purchased the plugin, and overall am pleased. One suggestion regarding the info box for a marker, though. Could you add a way to change the background color of the box? Or, at the very least, add classes to the divs that get created so it’s easier to override in my CSS.

or is there an easier way that I’m just overlooking?

Hello, You could change the background color of the box, but you need to do some modification to the CSS. Please use the browser’s inspector to see where you need to make changes.

If you have any difficulties to do the CSS modification, please, submit a support ticket with the help of our support system so that I can assist you: https://webcraftplugins.com/support/

Yes, I can modify the CSS to change the background color. But it would be easier if the div that need to be changed via CSS had a class assigned to it. As it is, I have to use .uber-google-map div>div:nth-child(1)>div:nth-child(4)... to get to the right div. Thanks.

Thank you for your feedback. I know it might be inconvenient, but that is the only way to do it at the moment.

Hi, I create an map with different locations. Now I can´t see the locations on firefox. They only show it in safari .
