This is the best slider on TF – by far. With that being said, is there any way to disable this for Mobile?
Also, I have both this slider and the FB Slider you developed… When trying to change the icons I seem to lose functionality. Do you think that you will be able to add different icons in the near future? It would be awesome if these slider icons complimented one another.
Did you try to change the icons through the admin settings?
I will add the disable on mobile feature in the next release, I hope around the next week.
I tried changing the icons vie image link. However, after the image is uploaded (and the icon has been changed) the slider itself seems to “disable”.
Could you send me the link of your website with login datas via my profile page mail sender?
I’d like to check this issue.
Sending it now.
I got it, please give some time, I’ll back soon.
I have a good news for you!
Just fixed some minor issues and now you can change the icons.
If you’ll get a notifications about the new releases of these slider plugins in the next days, just ignore it.
Thanks for your patience!
Is there a reason why Twitter would not display on Blog Posts? For some reason the twitter feed slide out loads on pages & category pages, but does not load on posts….
Just checked your website and see you using another Social Plugin (contains Twitter) that can cause conflicts.
The Twitter Icon displays well on every pages/posts just with blank area for me.
Ok.. Will deleting this plug-in remedy the issue?
Just try out to deactivate temporarily.
The Twitter Wall is works well now on your blog posts.
If you have any other issues or questions, please let me know.
Almost forget to tell you, disable on mobile feature has been also added now to the Twitter Timeline Slider, check on the settings page.
Thank you for this free item!
Thanks this is awesome, however when I try to upload a custom icon it doesn’t load does it have to be in a specific format or is this done via custom css?
Specify the full URL of the custom icon on admin, it has to be any type of image that accepted on web, like jpg, png, gif, etc.
Thanks for the nice free file, but work not on my blog ( http://freakinthecage.de/wp/ ), and also the example (http://twitterslider.sympies.com/example/) works not. Is that a temporal problem ? I test it in different browsers but only the slider works with a white screen and the “please wait” message is shown. Can you help please ?
Just checked the demo site and your website, both of them works correctly for me. I tried it with Firefox.
Probably it was a temporary issue by Twitter.
I check again…the only browser who works for me is Microsoft Internet Explorer..Firefox dont work, Google Chrome don´t work. :( But good to know that it works for you… :)
Just arrived to my office and checked the demo page on a different computer with Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer. All of them works well. Please try to clear the cookies in your browsers, that should help.
I was just checking on how this operates on my site and in Safari the twitter bird icon seems to duplicate
Add padding: 0px to #twitter_timeline_autocommenter on line 40 in twitter_timeline_slider.css will solve the issue.
Caused by your website’s style settings, all H2 elements has a bottom padding.
Sorry, but I have to let you know, support and updates are not provided for free files.
Thank you for your understanding.
That did not solve it but thank you for your time.
Really sorry, I was wrong, you have to add it to #twitter_timeline_autocommenter h2 on line 118
Did it solve the issue?
It was on this issue and sorry on the delay response
No problem. I’m just answered for your other comment.
You can add [enable_twitter_timeline_slider] shortcode directly into the template file or use it in a text widget.
No problem, just sent the removal request to the moderator for the duplicated content.
Hey another question. I have configured a twitter list widget. I can see the widget on twitter.com. But when using the ID in the plugins settings it says “no tweets”
Probably it needs some time to be configured. It’s hard to help without see the website.
Anyway, sorry, but support and updates are not provided for free files.
Thank you for your understanding.
I accept that, as a free download, I’m not entitled to support. However I like this slider and am considering the Facebook one as well, so I’d like a quick answer on a slight problem I’m having with the Twitter slider before I commit to buying the Facebook slider and have the same problem!
After installing the Twitter Timeline Slider, I have noticed that all of my thumbnail images on my category pages (eg – www.thecarexpert.co.uk/blog) have been replaced by Twitter buttons – although I have deactivated the plugin while I play around with different setting to try and resolve it, so you may not be able to see it.
Is this a bug in the plugin, or another conflict somewhere?
Please send me your website’s login details via my profile page mail sender and I’ll take a look. It is really weird, probably caused by some CSS class or ID conflicts.
You can try out to change your theme to any other, if the problem resolved, the conflict will be with the theme.
On Twitter, could you try to uncheck the Auto-expand Photos checkbox in the the Widget options?
Checked your website and that Tweet button is doesn’t part of the plugin.
Just visit the demo site again and you will see, the head part of the slider is different on your site.
I tried to disable your other Twitter plugin (it isn’t a good idea to use more Twitter plugins on the same page), but it didn’t solve the issue. (maybe because of the cache, but I didn’t want to make too much changes on your website)
The theme or another plugin may contains Twitter initialization files, that could causing similar problems.
In the other hand, you website is heavily cached, so I wouldn’t like to go too far with the tests and modifications.
Alternative option to disable the plugin in the plugin’s settings and display it only on the pages/posts where you would like to see.
Probably, if you can disable all plugins, but this one, you will see it is works well or not. If not, the conflicts will be with the theme. If it is works, you can reactivate the other plugins one by one.
But don’t forget to clear all caches, otherwise you won’t see any changes.
Interestingly, it doesn’t cause any problems on Safari (for Mac or iOS) or IE on a PC. It does cause problems with Firefox and Chrome on a Mac (and that’s all the devices I have access to!). I have reset the browsers but that didnt help.
I’ll have a play and see if I can resolve it. Thanks for your help and prompt attention
You’re very welcome. I would be happy to assist, but my first try would be change the theme for few minutes. That could show the source of the issue. It is the best option to investigate the problem.
Without your permission, I didn’t want it.
Nice ! Thank you for this free item!
You’re very welcome!
OK SOLVED THE MISSING Twitter Widget ID ID !! GOOD WORK THANKS
OK SOLUCIONADO FALTABA EL ID Twitter Widget ID GRACIAS!!
Hola al parecer muy buen pluing pero No funciona esta en Blanco no carga los Tweet http://ivanchacon.org/site/ por favor cualquier ayuda sera valorada.
Great little plugin but causes my Parallax to stop working on the site. Keep up the good work.
If you have some conflicts you can enable or disable on specified pages/posts. Check out the documentation, please.
Its was being caused by the [remove shortcut] so didn’t have a choice. I am sure it was just a conflict with the theme. Thanks again for the input
this is newbie question but,
I don’t know how to apply your php or js source on my website.
can you give me the tag that i can just copy and paste on my page?
This is a WordPress version, you can install the ZIP file through the administration area.
If you need the jQuery version, you can also purchase it, find the link on the demo page.
Thanks for the freebie…much appreciated…best!
You’re very welcome!
Neat. Thank you!
Thanks so much! Love the look
I have the FB Slider and Email Sign Up plugins in my cart. Want to add this two but have a question/concern.
Is there an example where both the FB and Twitter sliders have been implemented on the same site/page? I’m not sure how having multiple social media boxes sliding about is going to be perceived by readers.
You can use them on the same page, but don’t forget the performance. All of them make an API call in the background (connect to Twitter and/or Facebook), therefore it doesn’t recommended to use it on a page, that already make heavy load. (for example contains a video player or hundreds of articles)
You can test it here: http://pantherius.com/facebook-and-twitter-slider-on-the-same-page
The vertical positions of the icons are flexible, you can specify it on the admin. The example page provides random icon positions.
Awesome. I was just coming here to say never mind because I found your example. I don’t have heavy load on any post.
Looks like I’m in four several of your plugins.
You’re very welcome and thank you for your purchases.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask here or via my profile page mail sender.
Hope, you will like the plugins.
