Can I use this plugin to add multiple twitter Info widgets on a page/post (Using shortcode)?
Hello, yes, as you can see in the demo, I have used 3 different widgets in a single post using shortcodes. Hope that helps.
thanks, I am glad you like the idea
Nice work GLWS
on mobile the follow button does not load the account on twitter
Hello, thank you for bringing this to my attention. I just tested using an Android device and I saw the issue you are experiencing. I will have this fixed as soon as possible and will release an update. Thank you again.
@jhayvihn just wanted to let you know that I submitted an update to address your issue, you will get a notification once the update is approved (usually within 3 days).
thank you for the speedy response & fix.
You are more than welcome I would really appreciate if you review the product and leave a feedback. Thank you
I’ve just installed this but on my side bar the widget seems to be too wide and the followers falls down onto the next line. How do I fix this?
Hello Lochie, can you please share the link where you placed the widget? you can also email me directly if you don’t want to share the link in the comments, thanks
I can’t let you see it as it’s on an admin only theme at the moment while I switch my site to a new theme. So I can’t link to it until the redesign is done but I can’t use these as they seem to have been designed as a fixed width
Okay I understand, can you please share a screenshot? If you visit the demo and change the screen size you can see that the widget is fully responsive.
The minimum desired width is 300px which is a normal sidebar width but if your sidebar width is smaller, you can use custom css to change the font size. Simply add your style to “tiw-wrapper” class.
It looks lit it’s only out by just a few pixels.
I just changed the width of the widget in the demo page to 280px and the text still shows up. It will be very helpful to visually see the problem you are facing.
ah okay, I think your theme or any other plugin is adding additional spacing and overwriting the style. Can you please change your theme and test it again?
If it’s responsive surely it should work on all sizes. Changing the theme doesn’t help as my old theme doesn’t have side bars
The widget is responsive, if you check the style file, the width is set to 100%, which means it is adaptive to different widths.
The reason I said change the theme is because it seems that your theme is overwriting the widget’s style file. This can also occur if another plugin is changing the style, please follow these steps:
1) Change your theme to default WordPress theme (ex: Twenty Sixteen) or any other theme
2) Disable each individual plugin one by one to see which one is adding additional style that may cause overwriting the widget’s style
hope that helps
I’ve switched themes, it then doesn’t show my icon, then I’ve switched off all plugins except this one and it’s exactly the same. I’ve spoken to the theme developer, we’d changed the sidebar width, which is a % width, from 25% to 45% and it’s still doing the exact same. So it’s not the theme, it’s not the plugins..?
Sorry I just came back to check for a reply and re-read my last comment, I should have said that icon (twitter profile pic) is missing and the same problem with width exists. I’m now weary as I’ve bought two plugins from you (business hours as well) and not really getting anywhere here. Can you give me any suggestions here?
I’ve just had our theme developer check out your plugin and it IS your plugin at fault. You need to set the “box-sizing” to “border-box” in order for the paddings and borders work properly with “width” set in ”%”.
Can you please fix and put an update in place as this will be affecting most themes before I leave a rating. If fixed, I’ll give 5 stars, if not, I’ll have to give it 1 star and a refund request will be submitted for both plugins I have bought as I expect the other will be the same. I hope we don’t have to do that though, I’d rather it was fixed for me and everyone else.
All I ask is you fix your mistake as I paid for this in good faith. Thanks in advance.
Hi there, sorry I could not respond to your comments immediately (my time zone is Eastern Time). You can overwrite the css file by adding this code to your theme http://pastebin.com/raw/XiFPEVHA – I will submit an update soon, but it takes up to 3 days for approval. Thanks
That is absolutely fine. I assume you built your other plugins the same way? Can you fix the business hours one too if that has the same issue? Just because I bought both from you last night. Much appreciated
sure, I will have a look at that plugin as well. you should receive an email once the update is approved.
