I wanted to ask if there is any simple way to add animated enemy objects in the game. You are using bitmaps for images so i am not able to figure out how to create animation. Do u think i will need to use a game engine for it?

Hi, The app already includes a class (gif.java) that can animate images. The plane is already using it.

     *            number of images in animation
     * @param speed
     *            speed of animation 1-100

    public gif(Resources res, int id, int itemsx, int itemsy, int length, int speed, int distinct, float scale);

check out how it’s being used for the myplane variable and try to do the same thing for the enemies

I tried it but i am not able to get it. Your list of obstacles is an array of Bitmaps. All the checks performed for collision etc are done on this array. How do i add a gif type in this array.

Yes, you’d have to convert everything. a better solution would be to just change the drawing algorithm.

you can initialise the gif in line 550 like I done with the myplane:
enemyimage[0]= new gif(getResources(), R.drawable.your_enemy_image1, 3, 1, 2, 2, 1, width * 0.15f);
enemyimage[1]= new gif(getResources(), R.drawable.your_enemy_image2, 3, 1, 2, 2, 1, width * 0.15f);
Then, in line 945:

I have trouble changing the old admob SDK, the new google play services

that’s it, apart from putting admob ID and load the new library google play services.

The game does not give error but does not load the ad. Any help?

Hi, This game has admob, but it still has the old admob sdk. I’ll be updating it in the following month. It was created in eclipse.
