A quick question.

If I don’t add any custom markers to the stores themselves but add custom markers to the categories. If I select a category from the dropdown list of categories will the custom marker for the selected category show on all of the stores markers in that category?

Or am I mistaken?

Alan

HI Alan,

The store marker will overwrite the category markers. If a store has multiple categories, it will only show the first category marker on the map if there’s no store custom marker is set..

Thank you, this explains everything.

Alan

can this map opens a web content in an iframe, when users click on a location marker (currently it shows a popup and hight light on the side)

Hi there,

Yes, you can paste iframe code inside embed video field to show the iframe content in the info window.

However, you may need to edit the info window size to suit your iframe using CSS.. You can press f12 and use the arrow tool to find specific CSS element and edit the CSS file i.e css/super-store-finder-mobile.js with !important attronites to make the changes, more details available in this knowledge base article here.

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry, this is an add-on which will require the main plugin here https://codecanyon.net/item/super-store-finder/3630922

Installation guide is available here http://superstorefinder.net/products/superstorefinder/docs/

i’ve installed this plugin at super store finder and then i installed mega locator themes.. but at front end map still no marker. please assist me.. https://skinelleos.com/nearby (search endau to show the store)

I am using this add-on with the “Compact theme” and it doesn’t work. There is no sign of the icons, except in the admin dashboard.

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry, if you’re facing issues, kindly provide below details via the contact form here https://codecanyon.net/user/highwarden and our tech team will be able to assist you

1) url of store locator
2) description of the issue
3) temporary FTP access
4) temporary store locator admin access

I’ve overwritten the new files for custom markers into the repsonsive_theme. I have added via admin category edit the new marker (from your free markers download) but still the markers on front end map have not changed. They still are the original orange one. I have tried clearing browser cache, but it does not change, markers are still the original orange type. Please advise, thanks.

Sorry, never mind. I put the new js mobile responsive file in the js/libs instead of the /js folder. My mistake!

It works now. Thanks. Nice script!!!

Glad that it’s working now, thanks for the great feedback!

Is there a quick video demo showing how to install the SSF add-ons like this? Not sure whether we overwrite the original /folder/all_files or do we just move over the extra files from the add-on to the folders where they are supposed to go?

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry, you can refer to the installation guide for add-ons available in the add-on item page i.e https://codecanyon.net/item/super-store-finder-custom-markers-addon/6503100

In future, we will be adding Add-on manager similar to the Wordpress version where you can upload the add-on and enable/disable them easily via User Interface.

Thanks. I did read the instructions before. But it is not 100% clear to me, the installation documentation could be a little more detailed. Are we supposed to overwrite entire existing folders/files from this add-on to theme, or are we supposed to just add new folders & files that are in the add-on but do not yet exist in the theme? I’m using responsive btw. It would be helpful if a few more details exactly what to with which folders/files in relation to the theme we use.

Yes, correct overwrite and copy over the entire add on content to the existing application folder.

what is the best size for markers?

If you wish to change it, you can refer to this knowledge base article here http://superstorefinder.net/support/knowledgebase/changing-map-marker-size-standalone/

OK. And how can I put a shadow to each marker?

Hi there,

For custom marker, unfortunately there’s no shadow available because you can only upload a single marker.

Hi, we’ve installed with the mega theme but it doesn’t work. How to integrate in the theme?

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry, the only add-on compatible with Mega Locator theme is Marker Clusterer as per notice in the demo page here https://superstorefinder.net/megalocator/

As for custom marker, you can upload a custom icon for each store at add/edit page in Mega Locator theme.

Mar 21, 2016: Outstanding reviews from great customers. Thank you!

Hi. custom marker not show ,show only default marker

Hi there,

Thank you for your inquiry. Kindly clear your browser cache and retry again after replacing the files.

Cheers, Joe Iz

Hello, compatibility with the theme ” mega- locator” would be appreciated !

Hi there,

Thanks for your comment. Our devs are currently working on the compatibility for this new theme.

Cheers, Joe Iz

I have just replaced the contents of the downloaded files (superstorefinder with last version) and it has stop working. It shows only one marker (if any).

Could you bring some help? Thank you!

Hi there,

You may need to clear cache and refresh. If you’re still having issue, if it’s advisable to do a fresh install.

Cheers, Joe Iz

Same problem after fresh install. It seems like the JSON response only contains one entry.

Hi there,

You can share the url, temporary ftp and phpmyadmin access let me have a look via my profile page.

Cheers, Joe Iz

3. Set permission to writable for the following folders:

i. /your_superstorefinder_folder/admin/temp_upload_marker

ii. /imgs/markers

you mean 0777 or 0666 ?

first i install super-store-finder then i upload with replace for tow addons first Super Store Finder Multi Categories Add-on second Super Store Finder Custom Markers Add-on now it is not working it show me this error Fatal error: Call to undefined function auth() in /xxxx/home/xxx/public_html/adsrr/admin/stores_add.php on line 6 and the index.php is White page!!!?

Hi there,

You can set to either 0777 or 0666 (recommended for security). Based on the error, I think you may have replaced the files wrongly. Can you provide your url and temp ftp access to my profile page so I can have a look.

Cheers, Joe Iz

Is this addon compatible with the Multi Categories addon? How it works? Which icon will show?

Thank you

Hi there,

Yes, it will be compatible with multi categories and it will show the first chosen marker icon.

Cheers, Joe Iz

When I try to add a marker within the add category, it always fails as a bad filetype … only allows .png, .gif, .jpg I am selecting a real .png image but it won’t accept it.

Hi there,

Can you send me the url/temp admin access and also image via my profile page, let me have a look.

Cheers, Joe Iz

Hi, I add-on custom marker to the main system andI think it conflict to the other add-on. Can you make an instruction line by line to manually add for each updated file (not replace the file)? Because when I replace it all, it not show the corrected output like before install add-on.

Hi there,

Can you provide the url of your store finder to my profile page, let me have a look.

Cheers, Joe Iz

Already used compare doc. tools to check and solved this. Thanks

heers, Is it posible make a href $id in marker?

Hi there, Kindly elaborate more on your question to make href $id in marker. Thanks.

Hi, I have another problem with Super Store. When I insert an <iframe> in the description, the links ‘Street View’ and ‘Zoom here’ disappear. It would certainly change the code, but what? Thank you.

Hi there,

Can you send me the url and screenshot of the issue via my profile, let me have a look.

Cheers, Joe Iz
