Hi,
It is not compatible with Lottery Plugins. Hence, it is not possible.
Thanks.
You didn’t understand me, my question, if let’s say 800 people want to buy the shoe, is it possible that on a certain date only 500 people at random will be able to win and pay for the shoe?
Hi,
We understood your requirement & it is not possible using this plugin because all the users who have pre-ordered should pay the amount[upfront/after release] once the product has been released, not only by certain users.
Thanks.
Ok What with flatsome template? Its work good with the template and the SUMO plugin for poits? Its the website Savagears.com Can you check this please
Hi,
It works with WooCommerce-supported Themes. If you need the plugin files for testing purpose, please contact our support by email to support@fantasticplugins.com so that you can first test & then decide whether it suits your needs.
Thanks.

Dear Sumo team , congratulations on the feedback you provide on the comments page of your store. I am writing to you in order to put forward the following question: We are at the stage where we are evaluating our purchasing option of the Pre-Order plugin for our WooCommerce store. Our question is if you provide these four options in your SUMO product :
Option description #1 – Treat the whole order as a preorder .
We would like for the customer to select a shipping date, and all products will to be shipped together at that specific day.
That day will be limited to the latest preorder date available, for instance, if the order has 3 different products marked as preorder ones:
Product A will be available on the 1st of September
Product B will be available on the 3rd of September
Product C will be available on the 1st of October
Then, the minimum shipping date will be the 1st of October (i.e: the minimum date when all products will be available).
Is option #1 possible?
Option description #2 – Generation of two separate orders, one for preorders and one for in-stock products
We would like for the customer to get two different orders generated, one for preorder products and one for in-stock ones. For instance, if your order looks like this:
Product A is in-stock
Product B will be available on the 1st of September
Product C is in-stock
Then he will get an order which will be processed now, with products A and C, and then another order which will be shipped on the 1st of September.
Is option #2 possible?
Option description #3 – Generation separate orders for each preorder products
The customer will get one order for all in-stock products, and then one order for each pre-order product which will be shipped on each specific pre-order date.
Is option #3 possible?
Option description #4 – Customers can filteronly pre-ordered items, available items or mixed.
Is option #4 possible?
As a final question no #5 I would like to ask if your product is compatible with the Woodmart Theme and B2B King (as found in envato and installed for our eCommerce website)
Thank you and I am really looking forward to receive your feedback in order to proceed with our decision process to purchase your product,
Hi,
1), 2) & 3) It is possible using this plugin but we are not handling anything related to Shipping Date from our side.
4) We have a shortcode to display the products which are configured as Pre-orders using which you can display on a separate page.
5) It works with WooCommerce-supported Themes. We didn’t give any specific compatibility with the themes you mentioned.
If you need the plugin files for your testing purpose, please contact our support by email to support@fantasticplugins.com [or] http://fantasticplugins.com/support by opening a ticket so that you can first test it with possible ways & then decide whether it suits your needs.
Thanks.
Thank you for your reply. I am really looking forward to pass the feedback to our Website Developer. We are in the decision process to choose your product or to choose Bright pre-orders. It is highly appreciated that your replied to our comments in less than 24 hours. Thank and we are in touch for further steps
Thanks.
hello,
Can a user order the same product 2 times or 3 times..?
Hi,
Yes, it is possible.
Regards.
Hi! I set an available date but it has changed to later, it doesn’t allow me to edit it now, what can I do? I have the latest version installed
Hi,
1) If you are expecting to change the pre-ordered products release date, then please check by using the below option,
SUMO Pre-Orders -> Settings -> Advanced -> Modify Pre-Order Release Date Settings
2) If you have any other queries, please contact our support at http://fantasticplugins.com/support by opening a ticket.
Thanks.
I tried doing that, but I don’t want to send any emails, I just want to edit the shown date, it shows me a failure message saying that the email content is empty.
Hi,
1) We have set the Email Content field as mandatory in that setting because customers should know about the modified preordered date.
2) If you don’t wish to send the email, then disable the modified pre-order email under,
WooCommerce -> Settings -> Emails -> Pre-Order Release Date
- Open the template
- Disable the email notification
- Save the changes
Note: Any way you need to give the email content.
Thanks.
on the checkout page – how do you change / remove the text “charged infront” for the total amount due?
Hi,
i) You can translate/customize the text[charged infront] in PO Translation File. Please follow the steps given in the documentation.
ii) If you have any other queries, please contact our support at http://fantasticplugins.com/support by opening a ticket.
Thanks.

Hello, the admin does not receive notifications about a new pre-order, but the client does.
Hi,
We have given an option for the admin to receive the pre-order related emails. You can find the option “Send Email to Admin” in each email template.
WooCommerce -> Settings -> Emails -> Pay on Release Ack
- Open the template
- Enable this checkbox[Send Email to Admin]
- Save the changes.
Similarly, you can find the above option in all the pre-order email templates.
Thanks.
I have a pre purchase question.
I’m looking for a plugin in which you can pre-order an eBook. Can your plugin be set to allow customers to pre-order the book and pay upfront and automatically receive the download of the eBook on the release date?
Hi,
No, it is not possible using this plugin.
Thanks.
Hello,
I have a few pre-purchase questions:
1. In the backend, are pre-orders separated from other orders? If not, are they easily distinguished?
2. Do pre-ordered products automatically change to “available product” when the availability date passes?
3. Can “out of stock” products be automatically transformed into pre-order products?
4. Can we prevent available and pre-ordered products from being added to the basket at the same time? Can I choose either one or the other?
5. Is it possible to set up a deposit system? The customer pays 50% of the amount when pre-ordering, and the other 50% when the product is available?
6. How are the delivery costs managed?
7. Is your extension compatible with Elementor Pro?
Thank you,
Hi,
1) We are maintaining a separate menu named “Pre-Orders” in this plugin using which you can manage the Pre-Ordered Products by your users.
2) Yes, it is possible.
3) No.
4) Yes, it is possible
5) We have given the compatibility with our “SUMO WooCommerce Payment Plans” plugin. Using both plugins together, you can achieve this requirement.
Note: Balance payment need to be paid before the product release date.
6) We didn’t manage anything related to Shipping costs. It will work based on the WooCommerce flow.
7) We haven’t checked with this plugin. If you need the plugin files for your testing purpose, please contact our support by email to support@fantasticplugins.com so that you can first check from your side & then decide if it suits your needs.
Thanks
Hi there, does this work with downloadable products? We release pdf documents 3-4 times and year and allow pre-ordering of downloads that will be available in future. Is that possible? So if a customer pre-orders a download, when the download is released they automatically receive an email letting them know that the download is available, is that possible?
Hi,
As of now, it is not possible. We make a note of this feature & can check the feasibility to include it in our future updates of the plugin.
Thanks.
If customer buy 10 product A and the stock only have 5, can this plugin split that into two order lines (regular and pre order) automatically? And when customer checkout the cart with both regular and pre-order products, can this plugin only charge the regular part now, and pay later the pre-order part once the stock is available ?
Hi,
We need to clarify a few details about your requirement. Hence, we suggest you please contact our support by email to support@fantasticplugins.com so that our support team can get back to you.
Thanks.
Hi! I’ve been looking for a plugin like this and I want to purchase it but I’m afraid of the compatibility with my theme or other plugins installed because I have installed other ones (free plugins) that couldn’t work, I wonder if there’s a way to prove the plugin compatibility before the purchase or if there’s some kind of guarantee. Thank you!
Hi,
Thanks for opening the support ticket & our support team has replied to your ticket. Pleaes check and follow up there.

Hi there, does this plugin hooks into Woocommerce default import function?
Hi,
As of now, it is not available in this plugin.
Thanks.
Hello. I’ve purchased this plugin. I’ve enabled pre-orders for a simple product, and I’ve set a release date and discount for the pre-order price, which is pay in-front.
I was expecting that the product would automatically revert to the regular price when the release date expired, and the add-cart button would no longer say pre-order. This would ensure that new customers cannot purchase a released product at the discounted pre-order price. But, when the release date passes, the product page remains the same as before? It shows the product as a pre-order even though the release date has passed. Can you assist, please?
It works! Looks like it was related to the Wordpress Heartbeat

Hello, before I buy, I was wondering if there is a way to change ALL the field labels to my language?
Can I do that?
Hi,
Yes, it is possible.
i) We have given translation-ready files[PO File] for some languages in the plugin [sumopreorders -> languages] using which you have to manually translate the strings present in the plugin settings.
If your preferred language file is not there, then you need to create a PO File for your language using the POT Translation File present in the same directory & translate the strings.
ii) To translate the text present at the frontend, you can make use of the Messages Tab which will reflect the notices displaying on the Product Page, Shop Page, Cart Page & Checkout Page.
Thanks.
Do you have a working demo? The one linked on here does not work and I would like to see the actual functionality. Thanks

Hello, can this plugin auto prolongate release date? When I pick release date I don’t know exactly when product comes, because it depends on customs control, shipping etc, so when release date passes and product has not arrived, I have to manually set new date for all products which did not arrive. It is very hard. I would like release date to be prolongated until I change product status from pre-order into in stock when product arrives.
Hi,
We don’t have an option to modify the release date automatically. You need to manually change the release date if needed.
Thanks.
Hello, I bought the plugin, and activated it. I set up a product for pre-purchase, but the date on which it will be available does not appear in the product grid or on the product screen. Could you help me?
is there any way to mark parent product if it is pre order or not without having to mark each of its variants?
Hi,
Thanks for opening a ticket & our support team has replied to your ticket. Please check and follow up there.

Hi, with payment plans and pre-orders. If pre-order date changes does deposit payment remainder date change too? As customer will be asked to pay when product isn’t released. If not can emails be manually requested for the deposit balance instead?
Hi,
Please check the below details which describe the compatibility given with our “SUMO Payment Plans” plugin.
- You can charge a deposit amount for Pre-Orders only for the “Pay in Front” Charge Type.
- The deposit amount can be charged by selecting “Payment Type” as “Pay a Deposit Amount” in the SUMO Payment Plans plugin.
- Users who have Pre-ordered the product should pay their balance amount before the “Product Release Date”. If they failed to complete the payment within the specified time, then the Pre-Order with the respective deposit payment will be canceled automatically.
- Here, the pre-order release date configured will be taken as a deposit payment reminder date. If you wish to change the release date, then you can change it through the settings given in the “Pre-Orders” Plugin but it won’t affect automatically the entry recorded for the respective deposit balance payment. You also need to manually change the release date by editing the corresponding entry recorded in the “Payment Plans” Plugin. In this way, you can allow your users to pay the balance payment on a modified date.
Thanks.
Thank you, is it possible to not set a deposit date or disable the auto payment request email so I can invoice manually?
Hi,
1) If you are referring to “SUMO Payment Plans” compatibility, then you can’t set the deposit date. It will be set based on the Pre-Order release date configured.
2) If you are referring to use the standalone “SUMO Payment Plans” plugin, then it is possible not to set a deposit date.
Note: It is possible to disable the auto payment request email in both cases.
3) If you have any other queries, please contact our support by email to support@fantasticplugins.com.
Thanks.
