Hi, anybody already tried with Subscription product in the cart ?
Hi What is the right way import old payment installments data for customers?
I am currently trying to create old orders manually by login into the customer account to create the order and mark the installments that the customer has paid as complete, the problem I am facing with this way is the payment start date will take the current date I am creating the order, although I have changed the create date in the order page, while the expected behavior is to take the date I am given in the create date of the order.
I have also tried to play with sync payment option in the payment plan page to mark the start date in the previous year, but that didn’t reflect anything.
Hi,
While manually creating payment plan orders, it is not possible to set the date as per your requirement.
Thanks.
Then what is the right way to import old data with payment plans into the system beside manual?
Because we are just heading to digitalizing and we had some old data has to be migrated
Hi, Before I buy the plugin I want answer to some questions
1. I have the payment methods Klarna Payments for WooCommerce and Woo Swish e-commerce, this work with your system?
2. I sell courses IRL and take a registration fee and then my customers can choose to pay all the rest at once or down payment for instance divided in 5 or 10 times, can I set up this with your plugin?
3. Private persons don’t pay VAT but companies do, is there a way to set up this?
Thanks, anweb
Hi,
1. These payment methods are not supported for getting automatic installment payments. But, you can use it for getting manual installment payments.
2. You can use Order PaymentPlan feature using which you can show payment plan option in cart and checkout page. Users can purchase whole cart items as a single payment plan order using this feature. Product Level payment plan is supported only for Simple and Variable product types.
3. There is no option in the plugin to control Tax behavior. Tax will be charged in each installment as per the WooCommerce behavior.
Thanks.
The Payment Plans aren’t appearing in the Checkout or Cart Page in Firefox or in Google Chrome. Can you see why?

I have a product set to manage the stock for a multi person tour group. All initial seats have been taken and the stock is 0. The second payments are now due, and the user is getting unable to process payment errors since there is no quantity.

Hi,
I have been waiting 2 weeks for a reply to my support ticket now…has this been lost or something?
I have created a new ticket today which you can hopefully help with asap.
Thanks
Please note our support has made multiple replies for the support ticket you created before 2 weeks. Your comment and review stating that our support has not replied for the past 2 weeks is not correct.
Our support is also following up with your new ticket.
In case, if this Plugin doesn’t suit your needs, then you can take a refund by opening a refund request with envato In the following link ( https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/202821460-Can-I-Get-A-Refund- ) you can use the “Click here to request a refund” button to get a refund.

Thanks.
Hi,
Apple pay and google pay is not supported for automatic payments.
Thanks.
Ok thanks. Do you know how I can disable this option when a payment plan is being used? Apple/Google Pay are not on the dropdown under ‘Disable Payment Gateways’.
Hi,
Go to “WooCommerce > Settings > Stripe – Credit Card” and disable the “Enable express checkouts” checkbox.

Hello, what happen if i have to refund a customer before the last installment ? As i use WooMembership will the first installment enable the membeship (it normally enables when order is completed) and will the refund disabled it ? thanks
Hi,
If an installment order status becomes Refunded, then the payment status will be Cancelled automatically.
Thanks.
Hi Thanks a lot And what about First installent ? With woo memberships i need that order has thé statu Completed to automaticalky make thé membership as active . What statut has the order pais with sumo? Is it possible to trigger thé membership even if thé customer has only pais the First installent ? Thanks
Hi,
As per the plugin behavior, when the initial payment order status becomes processing/completed, the plugin recognize it as new installment order received and update the Payment status to “In Progress”. Until the final payment, it will be in this status. Once the final payment order status becomes processing/completed, the plugin recognize it as all installments paid and update the Payment status to “Completed”.

Hi, thanks for you answer, i think i will need Hook because Woocommerce Memberships enables the memberships plan when the order is completed but i need it is enabled since the first installment paid. Do you think it will be compatible ? Thanks a lot
for information i had an answer from WOO, do you think it is the workaraound ?
We do have this example snippet showing how to trigger membership access with a custom order status (we link the Shipped and Invoice Paid statuses in the example). This could be modified with the help of a developer to trigger access based on the Partially Paid status as well. https://github.com/godaddy-wordpress/wc-plugins-snippets/blob/master/woocommerce-memberships/admin/grant-membership-access-for-custom-order-statuses.phpHi,
We can provide you hook when the initial payment is paid.
After purchasing the plugin, you can contact us and that we can provide you.
Thanks.
ok thanks i did it !

even if i set a deposit amount the remaining payment no matter how many they are they will be automatically charged from people’s credit card if i use stripe right,
Hi,
Yes, if you set the due date to collect the balance payment, then it is possible via WooCommerce Stripe.
Thanks.
do i have to manually set date for each order or do you mean just a condition like people will pay monthly, and it will be automatically charged on the date they purchased the product
Hi,
You don’t have to set date for each order. Based on the plugin configuration, due date will be set for each installment payment automatically and amount will be debited automatically from customer account.
Thanks.
Hi, how does it work with stripe ? When Stripe is enabled in woocomerce settings , is there anything else to septup with Sumo ? thanks
Hi,
When using Stripe – Credit Card payment method, installment amount will be automatically debited from the user account on the due date.
Thanks.
Thanks, is there anything else to septup with Sumo for that if Stripe is alreadey correcly setup in woocommerce? thanks
Hi,
No, you don’t have to setup anything else to get automatic payments using Stripe.
Thanks.
Hello , can it be set only for products or also for whole chekkout ? Can it be applied on product bundle ? thanks
Hi,
Using Order PaymentPlan feature, it is possible to give Payment Plan/Deposit option in cart/checkout page. You can use this feature to apply for product bundles.

What tables does this plugin create? If I install and uninstall the plugin, will it remove the tables?
Hi,
We are only using WordPress CPT. The plugin doesn’t create any tables.
Thanks.
testing plugin currenlty, so far so good. I ran into an issue,
1) Can you edit a instalment amount? I notice the edit button on all the instalments except instalment #1.
2) What happends if the customer changes their mind and wants to change the order payment plan after making the deposit? I notice that I can change the dates of the payment plan, but I can not add or delete payments.
Hi,
Thanks for opening a support ticket. Our support team has already replied to your ticket. Please check it and follow up there.
quoted from support
“Hi,
If the installment order has been created, then it is not possible to edit that installment. In that case your can edit the order and update the installment amount. It is not possible to add/delete installments It is not recommended to delete installment orders as the future installment orders will be created based on the previous orders. Thanks”

Thanks.

presale questions
1) I take orders via phone/text message. I need to add payment plan via the admin/edit order view. can this plugin add payment plan to an order not created via the customer checkout?
2) Is it posible to have the initial payment be a fixed ammount, and then switch to percentage payents with the remainder ammount?
Example: $275 purchase. Set $75 deposit and then 4 payments of 25% each ($50) of remainder. $275 -$75 = $200 $200 / 4 = $50
Hi,
1. It is possible to manually create an order with payment plan and assign it to customers.
2. As of now, it is not possible to set fixed initial payment and other payments in percentage format. Either you can set fixed amount for all installments or else can set percentage for all installments. We have made a note of this and we’ll check for the feasibility and try to bring this in future updates of the plugin if feasible.
Thanks.
1) I was able to test the demo. I am having issues after creating a payment plan. The new plan dows not show up in the new order page dropdown payment field.
I am thinking of purchasing the plugin, despite not having the option for the initial fix payment + variable for remainder amount. I was going to use a workaround: create many payment plans, with the initial deposit percent from 10% to 50% (10%,11%,12%,13%...to 50%). So that i can have a plan with an initial payment close to my desired fix deposit payment. I do not want the customer on the front end to be able to see all these options as it is too many. I only want this to be avialable on the backend. It seems this may not be posible because you have to enable each payment plan on the product level, so that the payment plan is avialable in the admin order page.
Can you please send the the documentation of the plugin. I would like to read in detail the documentation and avoid sending so many questions.
