You might have turned on the link encryption feature for which our plugin checks if the link has been clicked by the same browser or not so that the link cannot be shared to any other person. And we are using the browser cookies to verify the link. So links should be clicked from the same browser from which the subscription has been done. Can you please confirm if you have clicked the link from the same browser?
And if you don’t want this to happen then you might need to turn off the Encrypt Download Link option. Please check and let us know.

I have purchased and installed this plugin. However, after enabling the “redirection and instant download” feature, I am experiencing two issues. Firstly, when I click on the download/subscribe button, the instant download works, but I do not receive an email with the download link. Secondly, the page does not redirect to the custom page URL as expected. Can you please assist me with these problems?
Thank you for your reply. Currently the email with download link won’t be sent when the instant download is enabled because users are able to download the file directly after subscribing. But if you want then we will try to add the option to send the download link email too even if the instant download has been added in our near future update.
Since you have enabled the instant download so redirection also may not be triggered because the download button needs to be shown after the subscription is done. Can you please explain how you are trying to redirect?

Thank you for writing to us. We are bit unclear regarding your query. Do you mean you want to display our plugin’s subscription form when the user clicks on the download button? If yes then for this you will need to choose the display type as “Popup Display”.
And when we checked in your site, it seems you have already implemented the popup display form. Please let us know if you are trying to achieve something else.
I have enabled double-optin.
So, the 1st email which is the confirmation email, is delivered without any issue.
But after the user confirms the link in the confirmation emai, the user doesn’t gets the email with the download link.
Though after clicking the confirmation link, the user gets to see the confirmation assuring that the email with download link is processed. But, the user never gets the email with the download link.

Thank you for writing to us. It seems your site is not being able to send the email due to which the error message is showing. Since you haven’t added any error message in the backend settings so it is just showing the red box. Can you please fill the necessary error messages in the backend so that it will be more easier to know which message is being displayed? Please check the screenshot below for an easy reference.
And regarding the email issue, has there been any changes in your site regarding email. May be you have installed some SMTP related plugins lately or some configurations changes in the server related to email? If yes then please check once by deactivating any email related plugins.
And also can you please check if your default mailing function is working or not in your WordPress because our plugin uses default wp_mail function provided by WordPress itself.
To confirm this please register a new user and while registering, please check “Send User Notification” checkbox. If the registered user email doesn’t receive the notification email then there might be some issues with the mailing function of your WordPress for which you might need to contact the hosting. Please check the screenshot below for an easy reference.
Thanks for the quick reply, I registered a user and got the email, so that is OK. Then I filled up the error boxes, and I got the error from the “Form Error Message” box. The next question is, how can suddenly all my forms have the same error? and how can I check what is the error in all the forms? is there a log?
Thank you for your reply. The error message will show up when our plugin cannot send email. But that’s a bit strange that registration email is being received but not our because our plugin uses WordPress default wp_mail function to send email.
Since you had mentioned that you started to get issues lately so do you remember any specific changes that you had done in your site within that time? May be installed some plugins or any other server related changes. To confirm this can you please check once by deactivating all other plugin’s except ours and let us know the result afterwards?

Thank you for writing to us. Your site may have some cache setup due to which the download buttons are showing to all site visitors even if download button should only show the users who have already subscribed but due to cache.
So our suggestion would be either to disable the cache for that specific page where you are using our forms or may be you can enable always show feature in the general settings. Please check the below screenshot for an easy reference.
under the subscribers tab, there is download status, when the user receive the download as email…and even if he download it via email….the “download status”keep as [NO]...

Thank you for your reply. The download can only be tracked if they clicked the encrypted link because technically we cannot track if the user has clicked the link or not if they are just normal download URLs.
And by enabling the “Encrypt Download Link”, the users cannot simply share the link to other for downloading the file. For this we are using the browser cookies to track if the link has been clicked by the same user or not. So for encrypt download link to work, user must click the download link from the same browser from which they have clicked, else the link won’t do anything and just loads the home page.
Can you please confirm if the link has been clicked from the same browser from which the subscription has been done.
The sender name in email is my personal name! I changed it in setting but still sending with my personal name.
Thank you for writing to us. That’s a bit strange. By general mechanism, the from name shall be fetched what you have entered in our plugin’s email settings. Can you please double check if From Name is not your personal name in our plugin’s email settings?
And also some other plugin’s related with SMTP might modify the default From Name that is being sent while sending the email. If you have used any SMTP or email related plugins then can you please check once by deactivating that email?

No way to get automated update on the plugin? also not shown on envato Market plugin as one of the purchased product and could be updated.
Thank you for writing to us. Yes there isn’t automated update because WordPress only provides the automatic updates for the plugins that are already on the repo and since we are selling the plugin from envato so we don’t have a separate repository.
But updating plugin isn’t that hard. You will just need to download the latest version from your codecanyon account’s download page and then deactivate and delete the existing plugin from the site and install and activate the latest downloaded one and all your plugin’s settings and forms will remain as is.
