Does it handle variable products?
Does the plugin handle pre auth of cards to enable the transaction to complete at a later date?
Does it handle pre auth of variable products?
Yes it works with Variable Products and pre auth is supported even for Variable Products.
Cool – is the pre-auth just the 7 day period or does it handle “pre-order” by collecting a token????
It is only for 7 days which is supported by Stripe.
1- can I use this plugin to charge later customers of variable products?
2- if yes, could I mass process payments for a product?
3- can I use pre-order for a longer time than 7 days? something similar to an all-or-nothing crowdfunding campaign?
4- can I use it in combo with your paypal pre-approval gateway?
5- does it support the latest stripe API keys?
thank you! best
1. You can set the charge later date at Product level for Variable Products.
5. We are not sure about this question. We created the keys at the time of Plugin creation which works fine for us. Also our buyers didn’t complains so far.
Your card is not supported. Please use a Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or Diners Club card
We haven’t seen or got any problems like this so far.
Quick pre-sale question: Does this plugin support Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express ?
What are the other cards accepted ?
Thank you in advance for the assistance.
It supports any Cards that are supported by Stripe. Please check the Stripe site for more details.
Is the user automatically charged during the subscription period? or does he have to manually pay everytime?
It is automatically charged by Stripe during the subscription period.
Does that mean it creates an automatic recurring plan in Stripe and keeps charging the customer until the subscription is cancelled/expired? So no action is required from the customer to keep the subscription active?
Yes, you are correct. Customer or site admin doesn’t have to do anything.
Is it possible to create a customer before debiting the credit card, to store the data in stripe dashboard?
As I run a rental business. We need to store the credit card to debit the deposit after if customer does not return the product.
Thanks for your help!
There is no option to store the data as you expect.
Does your plugin include Alipay as a payment method?
It can be difficult getting a merchant account with Alipay, depending on your business and even then the settlement thresholds are a little high.
With Stripe, merchants don’t need an Alipay merchant account, this would open the market to many potential ecommerce sites.
This Plugin doesn’t have such a feature.
Well, here’s hoping that you manage to include it in future updates. Alipay is the market leader, with 40%, of the online payment market in China, the largest ecommerce market in the world.
I am sure many of us will be very supportive of the first, and then subsequently the best stripe plugin to integrate their payment method.
We have made note of this feature and we will look into it. We will do our best though hard to give any time estimate.
Does this plugin support dynamic descriptors? https://stripe.com/blog/dynamic-descriptors
It doesn’t support dynamic descriptors.
Offering a pot file you want to translate this plugin, but is there?
We are not offering translated files as we are not well versed in other languages.
Does this integrate with SUMO Donations?
A better option would be SUMO Donations + SUMO Subscriptions which we will look into shortly to make both those fully compatible.
Does this plugin send order details to Stripe?
It doesn’t send the order details to Stripe as of now.
Hello, your plugin interests me. Can I use Stripe fast checkout form (like this: https://stripe.com/img/blog/posts/checkout-new-features/blog-post-hero.png) with it?
The link doesn’t work. But if you are referring to displaying a form for charging credit card then yes this Plugin supports shortcode to do it.
Sorry you can see the image here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/n5jt2aptq51u1jb/filling_the_form.png?dl=0
Please check the screenshots from 17 to 20 which shows you the form output to see if that would help your case.
The card details are stored by Stripe for handling charge later.
I am trying to provide a single pay and a multipay for the same item. I added the item twice (once as a regular products and another as a subscription). For the multi pay option I just want to charge them now and another time in a month (50% now, 50% in a month). I set the interval to month and number of intervals to 2. Is this correct?
Also, I’m running through cloud flare so the ssl should be covered correct? I tried to run force ssl, but got an error.
Please reach us at http://support.fantasticplugins.com so that we can check it out.
Thanks! I just submitted a ticket. And I think I figured out the SSL so I didn’t include that.
Our support will check and reply. Thanks.
Is there a way to use your plugin to force the Woocommerce Stripe to only ever send through the charge in specific currency, for example SGD?
I need to have have the Store base currency display as USD, and then using a currency switcher plugin (for example WooCommerce Currency Switcher) to allow users to select whichever currency they want the store to display in… but from the actual payment processing point, I need a Stripe plugin that would convert the USD total amount into the SGD.
Is something this possible?
If so, can your plugin do this, and if not could it be customised to perform this task, and what would be the custom code to do this?
I also presume your plugin works with Woocommerce Vendors, Woocommerce Bookings and Woocommerce Subscriptions/Memberships?
Many thanks in advance
This kind of currency conversion isn’t handled by this Plugin. As of now we are held with lots of work and hence unable to take up custom work.
I’ve never had this happen before, but I just had a customer pay via woocommerce stripe, but the amount wasn’t pushed through to stripe – just a $0 billed/payed. Everything looks normal in the WP back end though. Any idea what could have happened?
We haven’t faced such an issue so far from any other users or in our testing. Hard to suggest without checking. If you would like us to check it out, then please contact us by opening a ticket at http://fantasticplugins.com/support so that we can check it out.
I opened a ticket last night. Waiting on a reply. Thanks.
Our support is currently looking into it and will follow it up in the support ticket.
I have purchased and downloaded successfully.
However, I failed to upload onto my Word press.
I use Word press 4.7 and Woo Commerce 2.611.
I hope you could resolve my trouble.
Please unzip the downloaded zip file inside which you can find fpstripe.zip which is the Plugin file which should be used for installing. If you still face any issue, please open a support ticket at http://fantasticplugins.com/support and our support can check it out.
Just saw that you have this plugin for stripe too, so i’ll ask the same questions (sorry) :
- Does your plugin uses the STRIPE Api for recurring billing or your own system ?
- So basically i can sell à 100$ online course and let the customer have the choice to pay 100$ right now or pay it in multiples times : 4 month at 25$, right ?
- So how do a user can cancel his subscription ? I don’t want him to have like paypal, a cancel subscriptions button anywhere. I need to be paid fully even if it’s a 4 times payment.
- In Stripe Complete we are using the Stripe Subscriptions API so, the Subscriptions is Managed by Stripe Itself.
- Even in Stipe Complete when we create a Subcription Plan for 4 Months with Price as $100 it will charge $100 for 4 months and not $25 each Month.
- The Option to Cancell Subscription is available in 3 Places.
- My Account Page of the Buyer – Using this option directly cancells the Subscription
- Subscription Dashboard of the Admin – Using this option directly cancells the Subscription
- Subsriptions Section of the Admin Stripe Account
There are 2 options
- Cancel immediately
- Cancel at the End of the Term(Billing Cycle)
