I am a big fan of Sticky Mini Cart For WooCommerce, but now I’ve noticed a peculiar problem and hope that you can be of help.
With the plugin “Product Table for Woocommerce Pro” I use a dedicated page for products to sell to clients. This page contains simple and variable Woocommerce products and works very well. The plugin also has a native mini cart and that works very well on all types of products which are added to the cart. However, we prefer Sticky Mini Cart for obvious reasons.
Sticky Mini Cart on that page gets updated directly after an add to cart of variable products. Perfect so to say. However, it will NOT update directly after an add to cart of simple products, but only after a page refresh it updates. As soon as I change that simple product to a variable in Woocommerce, Sticky Mini Cart updates directly again after an add to cart, but reverting the product back to simple, the problem returns
Conclusion: Sticky Mini Cart updates directly but only with variable products. I aslo tested it from the common shop page and then the problem does not occur. Debug logs are not reporting any problems.
Because the website is still in development on local PC I am not using any cache plugin.
Hope you can think of a solution.

Can you please let us know the current theme used on your site. Sometime the theme and plugin might conflict and result such issues. We will check from our end and let you know about the solution shortly.
And deactivate the other plugin one by one and check the issues still exist or not and let us know.

I have now tested Sticky Mini Cart in a clean development site without any irrelevant plugins and also tested it with some themes. As mentioned, the problem occurs when it is used on a dedicated page with some woocommerce products. This page is in control of the plugin Product Table for Woocommerce. In case of simple products Sticky Mini Cart upates only after a page refresh !! Variable products work fine. The problem is not there on the normal shop page.
Important to mention is that I also tested 3 other mini cart plugins and they all work fine. So it’s only Sticky Mini Cart which has this problem. Hope this leads to some ideas

I am trying to place the cart icon in the topmenu, not just as a sticky mini cart. I thought it would be possible with the shortcode but that’s not the case. Can you tell me if that’s possible? So that it just sits next to the account icon for example.

We are sorry to say that currently the shortcode will not work on menu because of fixed position of icons. To make it work you need to add lots of CSS code which is not possible at the moment. We will try to add this feature in our future update and let you know.

Please provide a full refund. Unfortunately, this product does not work on my site. It does not work with my product bundle plugin. Even when this plugin is deactivated it does not allow variable product bundles to be added to the Woocomerce cart. Once deactivated variable bundles can be purchased again as normal through the Woocomerce cart.

For quantity I use a plugin Product Quantity for WooCommerce Pro for stores such as fruit stores this plugin is unusable if it cannot count 0.1 to 1 the plugin is currently disabled because the site is live, you can currently enable it if you are working on code

I just bought Sticky Mini Cart For WooCommerce and already it is my favourite. There is just one question though: Would it be possible to have an option for mouse hovering to open the cart when hovering over the icon and shut the cart when the mouse hovers out of it? So that a client gets to see quickly what he has ordered without having to click?

The mini cart can be used in right top,right center,right bottom,left top,left center and left bottom position as described in the demo features.You can use the minicart position right top or left top to show the cart at top but sorry to say that it will not come at header.
