Hello, I am using this script to export to XML however I am getting a lot of encoded characters. Main one being carriage returns, I have been told this would help, “str_replace(‘
’, ’’, $xml->description);” but I don’t know where to put it… Can you help with this issue?
XML Document is generated by public function export located in file class/XMLGenerator.php. Let me know if you need more help.
Before I purchase this, I need to know that images can be inputted into PDF and Docs from the SQL string and that the image sizes and locations (Centered, Justified, etc) can be defined.
Need to generate a document that my customers can print with multiple different images on the file.
No, unfortunately this script doesn’t contain such functionality.
Hello. I have a webpage that is built in WordPress. On this page is a table which shows rows of data generated using custom fields. Would your SQL Document Generator be able to export this data to am Excel, or CSV file?
Yes, but you have to create your own SQL query.
Please note that this is not a WP plugin, so you have to setup access to DB directly via config file. Thanks.
I have a word format form. I want that form to be populated with data from my wordpress user info.
Can I use this to get the data and populate it in the word document (or pdf)
If these data comes from DB then it is possible.
Before I consider buying this I am wondering if it’s possible to pass an array of data to the exporter rather than having the exporter connect to the DB.
I don’t want to have to use more database connections when i already have the data in an array.
This functionality requires some modifications in source code.
Will your script work to create a word doc from a contact form, once the contact form has been completed the word doc will be emailed to the admin
No this functionality isn’t available by default. This script generates documents based on data from MySQL DB and in this case needs some deep modification to get such feature.
what would you charge to create this?
Please send me email with complete list of requirements: firstname.lastname@example.org.
just sent it
Please check my reply.
If I have a preset form with this fields
This is a pdf form.
What I want is when this form is open by a logged in user, the form will populate the field with the current user’s name and email.
Is this doable with your script?
No, this functionality in not available by default. This script generates documents based on data from MySQL DB. In this case needs some deep modification to get such feature.
where we have artist, estimate, description, image file etc in the database.
Yes, but needs some deep modifications in source code of this script. It isn’t possible directly.
I am having difficulty making the library work:

Can I do so only certain cells are displayed in the export.
Right now i have 8 cells each row, but i only need 4 to show.
I like the concept a lot, really useful.
All the examples only show tabular data, what about other uses or forms of documentation where text/ design layout is all important.
Thinking along the line of say creating dedicated documentation of product pages, yes you can just click on Print page, but you need CSS set up for print Media, perhaps this is a solution to creating beautiful designed A4 Pages as either DOCS or PDFS on the fly… But, seems that the limits are tabular data? Ummm?
or am I being over complex on my assumptions?
This class generates table based on SQL queries only.
I suppose, that such library simply doesn’t exists at this moment – I meant solution which converts any type of data to PDF document with preserving of format.
Why don’t you update to MySQLi and PDO ??
I hope you can update asap
Unfortunately, at this moment we don’t plan to make such update.
