1. Will this workon PrestaShop cloud?

=>PrestaShop Cloud has one limitation that the self-hosted version does not have: you can only use the modules and themes from the Addons marketplace. Non-Addons modules and themes are considered unsafe and therefore not allowed on the platform.

2. Also do the items have to scroll or can I place say 6 items on the page. 3 on top 3 on bottom?

=> Yes. You can display 3 products on sale on top and 3 on bottom.
