Double-click the SEO & Social Media Preview Builder.mulib file to import it into Muse. Alternatively, you can use the Import button in the Library panel within Muse and browse to the file on your hard drive.
Using the widget:
Before you start, it’s a good idea to prepare the images you’ll be sharing. A useful guide to the required image sizes can be found here: https://blog.bufferapp.com/ideal-image-sizes-social-media-posts
Go to the Library Panel in Muse.
Once you’ve created your images, open the Creative Muse – SEO & Social Media Preview Builder widget folder
Click and drag the SEO & Social Media Preview Builder widget onto the design canvas
Add your site’s name (e.g. SuperFast Cars)
Enter the site’s URL (e.g. www.superfastcars.com)
Enter the page name (if you’re using the widget on individual pages)
Add the title of the content you’re sharing (e.g. The latest in the Audi R8 range)
Browse to the image you want to share with the page
Add your page description. This also adds the standard page description metadata, so you don’t need to enter this separately in Muse’s page properties
Set the Facebook content type (Website or Article)
Enter the article author (optional)
Add your Facebook App ID (optional but recommended). Find out more about this here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/apps/register
Choose to also configure a Twitter Card
Set the Twitter card type (Summary or Summary with large image)
Enter the Site or site owner’s Twitter ID (e.g. @superfastcars). This is necessary to validate the Twitter Cards
Enter the content author’s Twitter ID. This can be another Twitter account or the same one as the site/site owner ID
Once the widget is set up, you’ll need to publish the site and check the data on Facebook and validate the Twitter cards, this only needs to be done once per card for each site. (links below)
