I did try that…

the Node nwdthemes is missing in the config.xml / adminhtml.xml as well as in the in Nwdthemes_All and Nwdthemes_Revslider

I am using the most recent version of the slider.

Thanks

Please see reply to comment in previous thread

Hi,

I am using magento Magento Version 1.7.0.2 and have installed the extension.

The menu in the admin panel is missing though…

Hi

Please clarify extension version.

1. You can disable extension by moving app\etc\modules\Nwdthemes_Revslider.xml to different folder like app\etc\modules\disabled\Nwdthemes_Revslider.xml

2. Please check that you have uploaded all extension files. Try to reupload them.

3. Check that extension files has same permissions as other magento files.

4. If you are using compilation mode – run recompile.

If that does not help please provide admin / ftp credentials to nwdthemes@gmail.com . We will check the issue.

Thanks a lot,

This is strange. Please check if you have got correct files from package and all of them uploaded.

Admin nwdthemes node is defined in app/code/community/Nwdthemes/All/etc/config.xml : http://pastebin.com/Ng5mzmih

And slider node added to it in app/code/community/Nwdthemes/Revslider/etc/adminhtml.xml : http://pastebin.com/3xm5cSHJ

After Update I get HTTP ERROR 500 when trying to edit Slider

Hi

Error happens on slider extension only?

500 error gives no detailed description. First try to check Apache and PHP error logs for your server. It might give us the clue on how to resolve it.

Also please try following steps:

1. Please check that you have uploaded all extension files. Try to reupload them.

2. Check that extension files has same permissions as other magento files.

3. If you are using compilation mode – run recompile.

Hello NWDthemes Team,

we use the Slider Revolution v5.2.6.3 for Magento 2. It works great but we have the following small problem:

When the slider transitions to the next slide, sometimes the next slide won’t load and the slider is “stuck” (only the background is shown, transparent in our case). This problem can be reliably reproduced by switching to a different browser tab while the slider is active, wait for a few seconds, and switch back the tab with the slider. After the “fade out” animation ends the slider gets stuck and the next slide won’t load. This can happen on any slide in a multi-slide slider. The left/right arrows and the slide numbers/buttons remain available and can be used to switch slides.

We have tested this on Firefox (current version), Chrome (current version) and IE 11. There are no errors in the browser console. The magento/server log files also don’t show any relevant errors.

We also tried to change several configuration options (including lazy loading) and refreshed all shop caches, but to no avail. The problem persists.

Any ideas what goes wrong and how to fix it?

Hi

This could be a problem with Focus/Blur behavior. Sometimes when slider page loses focus when switched window or other tab it stays stopped upon return of focus.

This bug will be resolved in next version released. So far you can workaround it by enabling this option in Slider Settings page > General Settings block > Misc tab:

Disable Blur/Focus Behavior = On

Thanks a lot,

We receive a “ReferenceError: punchgs is not defined” JS error when we try to activate the plugin. We saw some posts with the “pub/static” content removal, but we don’t seem to have that folder structure. Can you help us?

we managed to solve the problem :) Some files were missing, when extracted on windows with the default zip-program. Thank you! :)

Hi

Glad you manage to resolve it. Let me know if I can help you further!

Hi!

I’ve just bought and installed this extension on my Magento 2.1.2 build. Install went perfectly but I’ve been left with some functions not working.

Firstly I can’t register slider revolution. I click the blue button but nothing happens, no screen pops up like in your instructions. The system requirements says there is no problems.

Looking at the Chrome dev info this is what is happening when I click the “Register Slider Revolution” button: Uncaught ReferenceError: punchgs is not defined at HTMLSpanElement.<anonymous> ((index):563) at HTMLSpanElement.dispatch (jquery.js:4624) at HTMLSpanElement.elemData.handle (jquery.js:4292)

When I click “New Slider” I get the slider settings screen come up but again many options are not available to me. For example I can’t save it, I can’t change the slider type from Standard to any others, I can’t show advanced size options (button doesn’t do anything) and if I click ‘Edit Slides’ it just brings be back to the slider settings screen.

When I click the “New Slider” button and the page loads these are the errors that area appearing:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1t3JTKwtzimav_FpVAT7uHb_ThEJzF1AUfe-x8sa10tA/edit?usp=sharing

Any help would be much appreciated :)

Hi

This could be a problem with static content and require.js. In some cases new file does not generated even when calling static content deploy command. This leads to problem with loading js libraries of slider and raises various js errors.

To solve it you can try to force generation of new files by manually removing all pub/static content and then running deployment command.

This also could be related to not specified deployment mode. The default mode is quite not stable and have conflicts with some extensions. Switching to one of production or developer can fix this too.

If this will not help please provide more details about deployment mode and js related admin settings (minify, merge, bundle modes status)

Or please provide access details to nwdthemes@gmail.com and we will investigate the issues there.

Thanks a lot,

Please update as soon as possible and I am still waiting.

Hi

Fix for this problem with php7 compatibility will be included in next version released next week.

For now you can get rid of this problem by editing line 21 of /data/wwwroot/website/lib/Nwdthemes/Revslider/framework/base-admin.class.php

Change original line:

private static $arrMetaBoxes = '';

With correct one setting array as default value:

private static $arrMetaBoxes = array();

For next version we will do full test for php7 compatibility with 1.x version of Magento to make sure no similar errors appear.

Thanks a lot,

Hi, I contacted you few days ago about to put a slide in the product description is that possible? I tried some methods and nothing worked out. What I can do?

Regards.

Hi

Product description does not support shortcodes by default. You need to change the core or extend it using plugins. For example – http://magento.stackexchange.com/questions/3767/cms-page-or-static-block-inside-product-description

It can be done as a paid customization. Please email to nwdthemes@gmail.com if you are interested.

Thanks a lot,

Hi, I tried to do this but I’m not a programmer or IT. In your page doesn’t have this information that “slide doesn’t appear in product description”. So I have to pay more for a thing I already paid and I didn’t get the right information or the full package? Is that?

Regards,

Fotobolo staff

Hi

I can totally understand your frustration about this. But it is not a plugin issue. Magento itself does not support shortcodes in product description.

We offer technical support to help you with problems related to our plugins. But unfortunately our technical support does not include help with the customizations beyond the capabilities of an item.

However, we love our customers and in most cases, we will offer some direction or provide links to resources or examples if it is helpful. Please understand, that our support is fully utilised to help with problems regarding our plugins.

Hi, I bought your slider extension. I cant seem to register it tho. the register slider revolution button just does not do anything, I have made sure it has the minimum requirements set up and the install went ok as far as I can tell. Do you have any ideas?

Hi

1. Please check chrome developer console for javascript errors ( console can be opened by pressing F12 )

2. Please check ajax response for error message. It can be done in developer console too. Check Network tab for network activity list.

Thanks a lot,

Do the Firefox and Chrome browser missed some plug-in extension or setting for Slider Revolution? It has JAVA Platform SE 8U 111 ,JAVA Development Toolkit 8.0.1110.14 installed. Firefox version is 50.1.0 , Chrome version is 54.0.2840.99 m for Windows 8.1

Thank you

Issue might be connected to one of browser plugins that inject javascript code in rendered page.

Try to disable them and check if it fix the issue.

Hello,

I get an error after correct installing the extension as follows:

nwdthemes_revslider_options’ doesn’t exist, query was: SELECT COUNT FROM `nwdthemes_revslider_options` AS `main_table` WHERE (`handle` = ‘revslider-global-settings’)

Please tell me how to resolve that.

Thank You

HI

Did you follow install instructions?

Try following:

  • disable cache ( System > Cache management )
  • turn off css / js merge ( System > Configuration > Developer )
  • disable compilation ( System > Tools > Compilation )
  • log out from admin
  • run this query using PhpMyAdmin
    DELETE FROM `core_resource` WHERE `code` = 'nwdthemes_revslider_setup';
  • login to admin again.

Thanks a lot,

Hi there,

I have asked a few days ago if you would change Rev-Slider for Magento that I accidentally purchased to Rev-Slider for Wordpress. I did not download that yet and hope you would be so kind to help. I need to go on with my website but need the licence first.

Your help is very appreciated!

Best – Ron

Hi,

We are using this slider in one of our client website. Issue is that everything is working fine when we are in developer mode. But when we change the magento2 env from developer to production mode in that case it is not work. Instead of slider there is blank section and i checked the inspect element as well div of slider is loading but no image and content is loading. No issue coming on the google chrome console as well. Also no issue coming in the console for development version as well. Also we also tried the php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy php bin/magento setup:di:compile

Our live website is on the developer mode right now: http://autosmart.co.uk/ Development server link which is production mode http://dev.autosmart.co.uk/

So please help us in this issue as soon as possible.

Hi

1. Did you follow instructions on switching modes? http://devdocs.magento.com/guides/v2.0/config-guide/cli/config-cli-subcommands-mode.html

2. This could be because of require js config files was not re-generated on deploying static content. This happens sometimes with Magento 2. Try to manually remove everything from pub/static and deploy it again

Thanks a lot,

I have an issue, and I need an update, but we’ve long since fired the developers that originally bought the extension. Do I need to buy it again, or is there some other way to get this update? Please help, the slider is on our front page, and we can’t use it.

Hi

Best way is to contact the developer who bought the extension. Updates is available for everyone who bought the extension without additional charge.

Otherwise you need to buy it.

Thanks a lot,

Hello, Do you have idea why my slider background image will show in 2 parts in front end? In older version of this slider, background show normally and now it look bad. My Ken Burns is Scale 120 to 100—all other values is 0.. If I disable Ken Burns, background is in correct place. Thanks
