Hi, recently i purchased the theme and customized as per my requirement. The theme is really elegant and works charm. Only thing is that, i need to change the navigation buttons (i.e., the bullets) into separate menus and name it as menu1, menu 2 etc..Where can i customize the bullets?
You can proceed in two ways to do what you need:
First thing you could do would be to dive into the slidea files. If you’re using the bundled version pixevil.slidea.js, open it and find the $.fn.slidea.pagination function.
html += "<div class="\"slidea-pagination-bullet\"" />";
You could be taking the menu items out of an array like this:
menu = ["Menu 1", "Menu 2"];
html += "<div class="my-menu-item"><div class="\"slidea-pagination-bullet\"">" + menu[i] + "</div></div>"
The second version would be using Slidea’s on-load event to add a custom menu. Here’s the code that would do what you need:
First, write the markup for your menu and place it anywhere you want in the page or in the slider.
<span class="bullet" />Menu 1
<span class="bullet" />Menu 2
Snippet above has a simple list with items that have the attribute data-slidea-target=”0”, data-slidea-target=”1”, etc., where each target is the nth slide in the slider.
target = parseInt($(button).attr('data-slidea-target'));
Please keep in mind that I haven’t tested the code that I have written here, but it should serve as a really good guide on how to achieve what you’re looking for.
I would be able to write a short plugin to make this much simpler, through the pagination settings. If you want, go to the Pixevil support forum http://support.pixevil.com and create a feature request for Slidea. I’ll honor it as soon as I can.
Thank you for purchasing Slidea and don’t forget to rate it.
Let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with.
I’ve uploaded an update with the feature I was talking about. It should be available soon (you’ll receive an email).
I’ve implemented an items function for the pagination settings which gets called for every slide item. I’ve also updated the pagination styling so you can add text for each pagination bullet in the following way:
var menu = ["Home", "About", "Contact"];
return '<div class="slidea-pagination-item"><span>' + menu[index] + '</span></div>';
I hope this helps. Let me know if you need help with anything else.
Thanks for the support. It helped me a lot…
And one more time, your theme is very much elegant and clean..
Thank you very much bsparakat, I’m happy to hear you enjoy using it!
Please make sure to give Slidea a positive rating if you find the time, it helps me very much.
If you need help with anything else, I’ll be glad to help.
Thank you AZ_TUNES!
Thank you, st1s!
I wanna use you slider in my themeforest project. So I need a huge support from you.
You’ll need to purchase the extended license for integrating slidea into a themeforest item.

Version Sass and Less from CSS?
You can find all of the slider’s source files (SASS and CoffeeScript) in the src folder included in the download.
I just tried to redownload my purched copy of slidea and all of the sample code is missing (no examples).
I’m looking into it. Thank you for letting me know.
