Hi, me again. I downloaded the recent update and have severe issues with the update. while updating, i ran into a few issues i could fix – but might do a complete reinstall. anyhow, except for the following issue, i’m currently out of ideas and hope you can help me with it. i’m running the script on an IIS server, so far so good. 2.29 works flawlessly (especially after the database fix you gave me a while back). ok, now, on iis the installation folder is

d:\webapps\downloader

at first, when i try to access the file uploader, the url in the browser changes to: d:/webapps/downloader instead of staying in the url i enter in the browser. this i could fix through declaring instDir in the config.php:

“instDir” => “http://mysite/folder/”

now i can upload files and partially use the admin panel, but after uploading a file, i want to test the download and click on “open link” i get redirected to:

h t t p ://mysite/folder/d:/webapps/downloader/download/ ....

somehow or somewhere something is just going wrong. did you encounter this before? and or do you have any ideas how i could fix this?

for the time being i returned to 2.29. i’d appreciate knowing your thoughts on this.

regards, Thomas

you’re welcome and thanks. regards, Thomas

Can I use external server?

Thanks

hi,

not inside SFS – but you could mount an external server (NFS, SSHFS, SMB/CIFS, ...) file system and use the mountpoint as data directory

Dear, this time I need your help.

hi.

ad 1) there is no need (or possibility) to activate mail functionality in/for SFS – the server has to be able to handle PHP’s mail function

ad 2) just modify download.php to fit your needs (img-tag ...)

hey,

I hope you have something like pma (phpmyadmin) or a mysql shell: please run the following query on your files table

ALTER TABLE `[YOUR-PREFIX]download_handler` CHANGE `d_ip` `d_ip` VARCHAR(50) NOT NULL;

or just update the length of the files table to 50 with PMA

while a lenght of 39 should be enough :)

I hope this small tweek works .. untested

best wishes

Hi, I want to report a problem with a possible bug. My site is under attack, I will receive continuous alerts from the server: LOCALRELAY Alert… 101 email relayed. Someone has found the way to load and send hundreds of files at once by bypassing the website.

I receive advise from server, not email directly from website.

Aniway, I inherited the server from old owners with all the sites and codecanyon account, if you can see the account name changed time ago on Codecanyon, I’m not aware of many of these, I did as soon as possible.

Hi, hacking start from: website.com/functions.ajax.php

you could try to add the following lines

if (!preg_match('|^' . $config->instUrl . "/|", $_SERVER["HTTP_REFERER"])) {
  exit("illegal access");
}
to these files:
functions.ajax.php (below $action = $_...)
jqu/index.php (below include_once("../funct....)
