I just updated to the latest version, but now my ads aren’t editable in the dashboard. I can’t link new ads to places, edit or delete anything. BIG TIME GLITCH!

How do you updated the plugin? Automatically or via FTP?

Am I missing something or doesn’t Sam Pro offer the ability for a user to place the ad by themselves and then have the admin approve the ad to be displayed. Also, is there a way to display a fee page for the users so they can see what the ads cost and where their ad would be displayed ?? Just wondering ??

Hmm, the error does not show up on incognito. It’s probably a cache issue.

Just to confirm, is there sam-pro-layout.php in v1.9.8.70? There was sam-pro-layout.php in the previous versions. The ads are not showing up after updating.

I’m already wrote for you: By security reasons file sam-pro-layout.php was permanently removed from the plugin’s pack. You should clear all caches of your site (cloud, site, browser).

You can set ads by user rule? Wish logged users do not view the ads, or does not count in impressions.

You can set rules of show for each ad include rules for any kind of user. See “Targeting”...

In the free version I have a problem, it does not display on the homepage and in the other yes. I’m trying to display a place, but displaying a specific ad, works.

Hey I loved Simple Ads Manager but for some reason lately it won’t show my ads or ad zones so I can edit them, So I switched to Sam Pro Lite. Sam pro lite shows my zones and ads I can edit but the category function doesn’t seem to work. I wanna place ads in certain categories but they always show on every page and category. Why is this happening? I’ll buy the full version if this problem can get cleared

If you use Single Ad object for show ads, plugin outputs ads without applying any rules defined for these ads. You should to link these ads with some Place object and use this object for output ads, because only Place object shows ads using defined rules. In another words, Place object is the parser of the ad’s rules. For a better understanding of the plugin read this article.

I have installed Sam Pro in my website and it’s not working. When I create anything (ads, places, zones, blocks etc.), it seems that saved the item but I go back to corresponding admin screen and nothing shows. It just says…

“No records to display”

What’s wrong? I don’t know. I tried to reinstall the plugin and deactivate my cache plugins but this don’t solve the problem.

The plugin does not work fine and there is no tecnical support as it should it be. We ask for help about an specific problem but always we were told that we have to contact with our hosting or similar kind of of things. So we lost about two weeks trying to configure it and solve the problem and now we have to use another plugin that works fine and to have a good technical support. It curious that the reviews are not available.

24 hours to deactivate the two plugins and make sure that this does not work? Good business! Tell it to your client, he will be very happy!

I have a serious issue updating from Sam Pro Lite 1.9.2.57. I followed your instructions by adding Envato token. My problem is I can’t even save the Settings page. And if I update via FTP my ads go missing. Please help.

I also thing I had this issue before specifically with this plugin where I couldn’t save my settings. Although, there are no js errors showing up in web inspector, When I reactivated Sam Pro Lite, WP prompted me with this error: “The plugin generated 1 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.”

Yes, the SAM Pro (Full Edition) is now under development and will be available for purchasing soon. The standalone addons that extends functionality of available editions of SAM Pro to Full Edition are:
  • Ad Slider – ready, available for purchasing.
  • xAds (pop up ads, sliding ads, fixed ads, etc) – under development.
  • Payment Gateways – in plans.
“Resolution depended ads” and “Registered Advertisers” features will be available only in the Full Edition of SAM Pro.

That’s good news, just hope it wouldn’t take a year to finish it. Currently using the Pro Lite and without the payment option it’s a real pain. Thank you for the response.
