hi prevuk – am absolutely sailing now – added pretty much all those custom features! this really is super easy to customize!
quick question is there a way to extend the time before it makes you log in again?
you should modify session.gc_maxlifetime by either changing it in your php.ini file if you have access, or you can add the following to a .htaccess file:
php_value session.gc_maxlifetime 7200
(you can set the time to what you want, 7200 is an example, though for security I would not set it too high)
one suggestion for a new feature – would be to have users do perhaps like a +1 on existing tickets, that way its much quicker for us to see just how many peoples its affecting or if its an isolated issue
additionally a simple list of all bug reports with clickable list would be handy or maybe even a live search feature

Can I create a user (like a client) and assign them to a specific project so they can submit tasks to that project only?
yes, indeed you can. When creating the user, simply choose the project (or projects) that you would like them to access.
To take a look for yourself, login to the demo as admin, then go administration > users. Click the icon to add a new user.

Can the admin create or change the bug templates?
I.e. create a set of questions that the user has to fill in to create the ticket? Like a template?
No, you cannot create question sets in the app. With a little html/php knowledge you can modify the questions already there if you wanted.
2 small questions :
-the script is it encrypted ?
-possibility to change the language easily ? (for example ,i’m french ,and i use “é” ,”à” ... )
“most” of the phrases are in the language.php file in the includes folder, so can be translated easily by changing one file. Some are still hard coded, so will need to be translated manually in the code.

How difficult word it be for an average PHP programmer to remove the need to login to place and comment etc in tickets? I would love to use this but within a web app where users are already logged in so I cannot ask them to signup and login to another system again so I need to either use my user table or not require login at all
in theory, very simple indeed.
If you already have a user database you should be able to authenticate from that without any issue. There are a few fields in the user table that store profile information that are required within the application, so you would need access to those, or you could disable the calls for them if that information was not critical to your use of the app.

based on the URL you have provided, it would seem that you are running the app inside the Upload folder from the archive you downloaded. Is this the case ?
If so, you should first remove the upload folder, and run the application from the root of the ce2levelbug folder.
If the issue still occurs after that, then it will almost certainly be related to the setup of your XAMPP local server. Let me know, we can work from there.

I love the ticket colour change. Is it possibe to change the colour based on the priority? For example, High Priority should turn red quicker than low priority.
Also does the system send emails to admin / users to inform them of ticket updates?
I see no reason why the colour change should not be possible with a little tweaking. currently it is of course based on time, but adding additional criteria should be relatively simple.
And yes, the system sends email to both users and staff showing updates, ticket assignments etc.
Does this have the option to reply via email to update a ticket?
