What is Rentors Plus App all about ?
Rentors App is basically an universal solution for Renting out (providing on lease) any of your items, and at the same time others can hire (take on rent) them. The concept is based on items that are not much used by you & utilizing them to earn an extra income for you. At the same time, users can rent those items from you and use them for a definite period at a nominal cost and save themselves from unnecessary purchasing.
Is there any revenue model for Admin ?
Yes. Admin can earn revenues through 2 revenue models from this app. First is Subscription Model & the other is Featured Model. The App has a restriction to upload up to 3 items for free and rent out uploaded products upto 1 month (from the date of first product upload) for free. Post that, those who want to continue renting out their items need to take subscription which is available in 3 different plans. Similarly, Renters (those who are uploading products to rent out) can feature their uploaded products for specific time periods to list their items in top featured section of the app to boost their earnings.
Is their any payment gateway integrated for Subscription Model & Featured Model ?
Yes, we have integrated Stripe payment gateway for the same.
How secure it is to rent out items on Rentors ?
While Booking any item, the user (Rentee) is verified through OTP and also asked to upload his National ID Proof.
How secure it is to Hire an Item from Rentors ?
It is totally secured to hire items from Rentors because all the vendors (Renters) are verified through OTP and are asked to upload their necessary documents/National ID proofs etc. while they upload product. The product & documents uploaded by Renters are made available on app only after admin approval. Also, there is no need to make any payment at the time of Booking the item, Rentee can chat with Renter both before and after booking.
Why only COD is available ?
Just to keep the transactions secured and avoid the illegal activities on the app, we have kept COD as only the mode of payment, also this counters the huddles like refund issue. Whether it is about hiring a product or delivering a product, at some instance, Renter has to meet Rentee anyways, where they can settle their transactions personally. We wanted to keep things simple and in control without much restrictions for Rentees and Renters.
Is it a single login app for both Renter & Rentee ?
Yes, both Renter & Rentee can login through the same app and perform their activities accordingly.
How is Rentors App different from other apps ?
Rentors app is designed and developed in such a way that it becomes a universal solution for a wide range of purposes. You can rent out anything on Rentors, when we say “anything”, we literally mean anything. You must be thinking – how does it happens ? Let us tell you something about the subcategory section of our admin panel. While you add any new subcategory, other than basic details of a product like name, price, description, minimum booking amount etc., you can add additional form fields for that subcategory items, and those fields will be displayed on the form that is required to be filled in product details on frontend (app) by the Renter. Thus this app does not restricts you from adding more and more variety of categories, subcategories or products. Also, you don’t need to depend on any development team to edit simple form fields, you yourself can make changes from backend.

Service category is given for the service providers like Carpenter, Maid, Plumber, Electrician, Hardware Engineer, Painter, Tattooer etc.
Can this app be used to sell old items ?
This app is basically a renting app. But the app flow is such that we can do little customizations for you and convert it in to selling app.
What are the upcoming additional features of the app ?
If we get a good response for this app, we have a plan to integrate tracking feature in the app. Aside this, we would welcome your suggestions regarding the same.
Why the app does not have facebook/other login as well?
This is simply for security pusposes as there are data leakage threats these days, also we need to verify users through mobile number and National IDs to establish faith in app users.
What are the technical details of the app and admin panel ?
Backend is developed in PHP CI.
