Interesting plugin. One question: where can I see a demo how the changelog will look on a Wordpress page that visitors can see ?

On the demo page, use the menu item “Samples”, which will show you the frontend layout of the plugin.

Can the plugin be used alongside WooCommerce? Of course! But this plugin and WooCommerce don’t have anything to do with each other, otherwise.
Ah, now I understand, what you mean.
While the plugin can be used for any type of item that undergoes changes and for which you want to provide a changelog history, it does not automatically pull WooCommerce products.
The plugin handles its items via categories and you would have to create a new category for the WooCommerce product you want to provide a changelog history for. The shortcode for the changelog can then be simply inserted into your product description in WooCommerce.
The plugin does not, however, create a dedicated tab for that. But there are free plugins out there that allow you to add new tabs to your product pages, such as this:
This is a terrific time saver for anyone that needs to maintain a changelog and would like something beyond the obligatory manual bullet list. The support is fantastic and it’s very intuitive and let’s be honest, if you need to keep a changelog, you’re probably a step above newbie anyway so that just makes this solution even more intuitive. At this price point, it’s a time saving no-brainer.

Great to have the update to 1.1.0 but you didn’t include upgrade instructions. the file that came with the download (Instructions.txt) is blank and your website gives a 404 error when trying to access the manual link???
we had a major database crash on our multisite installation and are still rebuilding; the new demo site for the plugin should be back online in a day or two.
As for updating, simply upload the extracted folder onto your server via FTP, replacing all existing files. All settings will remain as those are stored in the WP database. The update also includes an auto-update feature for future updates, so you will be able to update from within WP with all upcoming updates.

Is it possible to automatically have a changelog per post (and custom posts such as woocommerce products)? I think it would be a great idea that when the admin creates a post, there always is a changelog area ready to edit – maybe with the option to display/hide from visiting users. Thanks!
Unfortunately, such a feature is not available and I’m not sure that tying the plugin to the custom post types from other 3rd party plugins is a good idea in general.
Will your script work with wp 4.5 ?

I am using the Responsive Lightbox plugin for my site but when I insert images into the changelogs they do not open with lightbox like every other page does. The images just open in their own pages without the lightbox effect. Is there a way I can have inserted images open with lightbox?
As you should’ve noticed the official corresponding “away” message from Envato when posting your comment, I’m currently “out of the office” until 05/30/2016 and therefore not able to assist any further at this time, until I return.
Your “issue” is most likely due to how your lightbox plugin/script is hooking itself into the tinyMCE editor that is provided for standard posts and pages, while this plugin is using a custom post type, which might not work with the routine your lightbox is using.
Please open a ticket in the support forum for this item and provide me with admin access to your system there, so I can take a closer look once I’m back in the office at the end of May. The forum will “collect” all requests, which will make it easier for me to address all support related requests accrued during my absence.

Can you add some routine that checks the User Role? I Removed all Privileges for one Userrole from Wordpress for your Plugin, but the Changelog Button in Editor when creating an new Article is visible.
Sure i can set the Option “Show Generator Button next to Add-Media Button” to off, but i want the Button Visible for Administrator Roles
Please check this.

Can you check your Plugin with actual Wordpress Version. Since Wordpres 4.7 there are only Title Fields nothing more when i would add changelogs.
I’m using the plugin myself with WP 4.7.1 without any problems; it is an essential part of my official Help & Support Desk system, which also includes changelogs for all my products. And nobody else reported any issues with it either.
So please open a ticket in the support forum and provide me with admin access to your site, so I can take a closer look in order to determine what exactly might be the issue on your end.

I found the Error:
After Installation i used “Helper Class Version: 2.x”.
Now it´s only working when i switched to “Helper Class Version: 1.x”
Maybe an other Plugin is in conflict, i don´t know. But it´s working with V1.
Thanks for letting me know; I’m running with v1.x myself, but will take a closer look at what might be causing an issue with v2.x.
I tested the plugin with v2.x of the helper class on WP 4.7.1 (and v4.8-alpha-39901), and didn’t have any issues either. I can only assume that there might be in fact a conflict with another plugin/theme on your end.
But in order to find out, I will need to access your site, so if you want me to pursue the issue further, please open a ticket in the support forum and provide me with admin access to your site, or alternatively, use v1.x of the helper class, as you indicated that this one still works on your end.
