Hi, I’m interested in buying this, but a couple things are missing which are crucial for me:

1)The bar should be set to opacity: 0 as soon as the user is scrolling back up and when it reaches 100% otherwise it distracts the user from reading the article, which what we want in the first place.

2)The estimated time seconds needs to lower as you scroll down (ex: 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4 etc until you reach 0 and the bar is hidden)

2)The bar is a bit too big, it is a bit annoying on small screens I think you should add an option to show the progress bar on 1 line only (removing “Reading Progress” and leaving “Estimated time” and the progress bar on the same line by making the latter a bit smaller.

3)The bar animation should be made smoother and a bit slower, it’s too fast and rough now, it doesn’t look as smooth as other progress bars I see on other websites. I haven’t seen the code yet, but maybe, again a transition:width 1s ease-out (if the progress bar size is based on width) would be nice.

I hope you can implement these small modifications as soon as possible so I can buy and install this ingenious plugin on my website (https://nootropix.com/ )

Cheers!

Thanks for your comments, please check my comments below we will be working on remaining within few working days.

1)The bar should be set to opacity: 0 as soon as the user is scrolling back up and when it reaches 100% otherwise it distracts the user from reading the article, which what we want in the first place. - We will add this in our next version

I am just trying to figure out why it displays on my posts but not my page. Example: https://smartenings.com/how-to/how-to-build-an-app-from-scratch/ (post: displays). Page (doesn’t display: https://smartenings.com/start-here/). I have the class to display it on set at .entry-content and both those urls have the content in a div with class .entry-content

This plugin is developed to work with the posts, if you want it to make it work also on pages then please share the FTP details at abbasmadh[at]gmail[dot].com so I can customise the plugin for you.

Plugin has been customised please check :)

Thank you so much!

I’m having trouble installing the plungin. I read through the FAQ and it mentioned to get the Class/ID correct, but I’m not sure about what that would be. the coding isn’t that easy for me. My site is patrickholden.online/blog Could you help with this?

Hello. I left a comment 4 days ago about a support issue. Could someone help me with installing this?

Sorry for the late reply.

After enabling the plugin you have to enter ”#post-area” in class/ID field. Let me know if you face any more difficulties.

Thanks. Sorry, I’m having trouble tracking down exactly where I find that. How do I find that information?

You can check with your developer or by using the chrome developer tool. I checked your html code, the content is wrap in ”#post-area” div.

What is the class id for my website? I’ve tried multiple and can’t get it to work :(

That should be the sidebar. which social media button do you think is interfering?

Nvm, thats the plugin that breaks it up into multiple pages. Still can’t get it visible but happy to try deactivating anything you think is interfering.

Can you please share the ftp and admin login details at pixsols@gmail.com our developer team will have a look into it and make it work for you.
