Upload docs, for client is not working, i have permissions for the set folder set to 777 at the moment to ensure the directory can be written to, any ideas, why this isn’t working? I have also made sure the filetype extensions were added.

It could be that your server does not have “mcrypt” enabled – that’s the only thing that comes to mind without having a direct look.

- Will there be a booking calendar in this product?
- Peoples with company wont show up under company view. Its painfull to search all accounts which are belong to certain company.
I will be implementing a user filter to allow you filter by company. With regards to the booking calendar. Could you give me a typical scenario in which such a feature would be used.
You can use booking for reserving time for customer, or for meetings or reserving some room/space etc.
Not really in the scope of development just yet but most probably as I add more team related features.

Greetings. Actually this this the system im looking for for my small freelance company. I loves your scrypt and how does it works very clean. However, like the others it would be awesome includes some features that would be great like:
- Accept Paypal payment from client in a secure session and do the math formula calculations on the clients invoice saved on the db and mark it as paid and sent you an email for the paid off notification or deposit.
- Show some clean css3 overall progress project graphics on the project section for clients clearly see it progress and deadline in friendly point of view.
- From client account, (i.e. build some kind of link next to the project name to see his web site progress in live) in somewhere hosted in your system to improves client experience and trust.
If you planning to do so, please sends me a notification of a new version with at least the first mentioned featured and i gladly will buy you this script.

1. PayPal – this is in the plans for the next version. When I have this setup I will notify you.
2. Progress bar – currently available for the actual freelancer (the demo for this script is out of date so does not show a progress bar.). I will update so it shows for the client too – but it does not currently.

But when i create new project or to do – it said that “You are not logged in” – It happen many time, i try 10 time – and it happen 7 time.

Also when you try it and it says ‘you are not logged in’ can you try to refresh the page to see if takes you back to the log-in screen?
It could be that the demo server is being slow so try it today, see if it works.

Not sure what you mean but if you mean updating the actual script – this is in the plans, just very busy on my end.
I’m hoping to convert the whole script the twitter bootstrap + add payment/paypal related features but I cannot give an ETA on this as I’m busy updating my other user management script at the moment.
Because for instance I cant delete tasks, are there any selection dor deleting? I couldn’t see.

No, not at the moment. There is a plan for it along with a full team management system but not ETA on that as I’m currently trying to upgrade my other app (the user management suite) – once that is done this will feed off the design of that.

1. Will this work for a Laboratory clinic that want to post Lab reports of their clients online so clients will be able to view and download a PDF (containing their lab tests results) without messing each client with each other, I mean, creating isolated users so only they can see their assigned file for an established period of time.
Im interested in giving them a username and password with expiration of 1 year to view or download their lab test reports but my main concern is security as it is very sensitive data what will be here.
You could do this with this software but it may be an idea to use my user management script and customise it for your requirements.
In both scripts you’d have to add the expiration of the account though in the user management script you could take this from the “paid” user groups system and just tweak it for you needs.
With this script (quickManager) you do get the option of uploading files for particular projects (to which a client could be attached – thus only that client could see that file) which would have to be built into user management script.

It’s working okay for me. Which browser are you using? Can you try it again now. It (the demo) may have been in the middle of the database reset/refresh when you tried to log-in.

I don’t have a Mac to test this on – I did try it on safari on Windows and that was okay.

Hello. I run a freelance service that has hundreds of freelancers and thousands of users who buy/bid freelancer work. I want to purchase and host your product on my site so my freelancers can create projects to manage/communicate with their buyers. Is this possible to do self-serve? Do I need one license? Or does every freelancer acting as a manager of the project need a license? What I don’t want to do is have to create an account for each freelancer. I want them to arbitrarily create one and invite their clients (i.e. buyers) to the site to discuss/communicate/manage the project online. Thanks for answering as I’m very interested in purchasing today.
QuickManager does not really play the role of a self service system.
You’d have to to create each freelancer and buyer but even then to create projects you have to be an administrator which gives you access to the system settings.
It could be adapted to work as you suggest but would require custom coding to get it there.

It does not show the outstanding balance at the moment but that is a very good idea. I may try to implement this is in the coming week.

Dear I tried to ask question in my previous email , maybe i was not clear enough,. Here I am writing you again. I have some pre-Purchase questions:
1: How can create projects and assign the employee to the client’s project?
2: Can manager or administrator create and assign one employee to one client and restrict the employee to see other projects, clients and messages ? ofcourse sometimes you do not want your employees to know all of your clients.
3: Does your product provide the branding like to change the logo on the client dashboard, make a post date invoice, etc?
4: Is that possible to show the client balance in client dashboard , sometimes client can pay upfront so they should see the balance in their dashboard to pay the future invoices. Possible?
5: A client should only see his own project and the employee assigned to him. Is that what your product offer ?
6: Do you offer ticket system in the product? Can I client have multiple logins on one project? For example if a client is a company and their two department wants to monitor the project , they can ask for two different login for one account.

1. When you create a “contractor” user and assign them to a company they get access to all the projects for that company/client.
2. That’s a good point. Will try to implement this into future releases.
3. you can re-brand the client dashboard if you like – or do you mean re-brand for each client? Not sure what you mean by post-date invoice.
4. Not possible at the moment.
5. Clients can only see their own projects. They cannot see which employee is assigned to them though that employee can respond you support requests/discussions.
6. There is a project discussion system which can be used as a support ticket system. Yes you can have multiple log-ins for the same client organisation.
7. It does not take long to install. If it’s straight forward (no issues with your server) then I do this for free.

You can put your main site at example.com and I can put quickManager somewhere else if you like with a sub-domain.
