Has the code been altered to be accessible to search engines? That is the primary reason I would buy this code.

Thanks!

Hello, the footer content is hidden via display:none so it’s not accessible to search engines.

Anyway, it’s possible to change that, instead of hiding the drop downs with the display property, it can be done with a combination of absolute positionning and negative left margin. In this way, all the content would remain accessible to search engines.

I don’t have much time to start an update so if you decide to buy this footer, I’ll send you a quick change that will make it accessible :)

Thanks for the quick response Pixelworkshop!! For my Wordpress site, which footer should I buy: the $6 Javascript or the $4 pure CSS3 ? Based on what I’ve read it appears the $6 Javascript has more visual elements and degrades gracefully if Javascript disabled…seems like that would be the best choice? Are there any other differences?

Thanks!!

Hello, these are not Wordpress plugins so it’s probably not what you need !

I understand they are not plugins, but I was under the impression that the code is rather straight forward to manually integrate into Wordpress code. Is that correct? Assuming that is true, it looks like I will go with the $6 Javascript code because of the (degradable) visual enhancements, does that make sense?

Alright, just for your information, there’s a plugin version of the CSS footer but I don’t promote it anymore because I had to drop support / updates for this product.

You’re right, there are 2 main differences between the CSS and javascript versions : first the design and secondly the possible effects to open / close the panels. Otherwise they work in a similar way :)

I saw the plugin version, but my assumption was that since you’ve dropped support/updates, it has many less features (and possibly some errors) and that I would be better off with the javascript code (assuming I could implement it).

With that said, I’m just looking for basic functionality, so would the plugin version be sufficient? Could you still remove the display:none?

Sorry for all the follow-up questions!

If you’re not much experienced with Wordpress plugins, it’s maybe not the best way to go. To be frank I can’t really recommend you anything, I’m not myself much qualified when it comes to Wordpress.

The only answer I can give you is about the display:none change, it’s not complicated and I’ll give you a hand on this one if you need :)

Hello,
Great piece of work, I like it very much.
I have one question though: in the drop-ups I’m only using one column, text and photo. When I’m adding a link to a part of the text, that text is spreading across the whole width, something like this:

- TEXT WITHOUT LINK -
”... text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text…”

- TEXT WITH LINK -
”... text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text
text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text…”

I couldn’t find the way to change this in footer.css; can you please give me some hints?

Thanks a lot!

Hello, could you please post support requests from the account used to purchase the footer please ? If you can’t or don’t want, I can be reached by email through my profile page but it must be done from the account used to purchase the item aswell. Thanks !

Hi, I recently purchased this item and would like to implement it in a site I’m developing. I too would like to ensure that the menu contents are search engine friendly. Please could you send me details of the mods I would need to make to change from display:none.

Also, I would like to make it friendly to mobile browsers as I notice when you resize/scale down the window some of the menu items dissapear. So if you’re on a mobile device and zoom in you loose items on the menu bar.

I believe this is due to the position: fixed; and have tried a few things to enable scroll, but not had much success.

Is there a neat way to make it gracefully resize with the window or so the user can drag it back into view?

Many thanks!

Hello ! Well that’s quite a lot of changes but I’m unfortunately not available for custom work for now. I’m planning an update but it’ll take a bit of time so I can’t give any release date. I’d like to make it responsive but after the projects I’m currently working on.

Amazing 5 star product rated accordingly :) As always your work is faultless!

Thanks a lot :)

Hi, I just purchased this footer. Great work. How do I make Sub Sub menu items pop open to the side?

Hello, I’m currently having holidays so I can’t provide much help without my computer. Feel free to contact me again in about 2 weeks, this sounds more like a customization but if you start something, hopefully I’ll be able to help you :)

This looks a lot like the one Thenewboston is currently making http://www.youtube.com/user/thenewboston?feature=g-user-u :) (I Know you where way before him),

Thanks for notifying me ! And you’re right, this tutorial is at 100% based on my work.

Hello,

What is the Trick to making this expand to 1920px as well so it will use all available screen space on HD as well as regular 1366px.

oh man you’ve got to be kidding me.

honestly, it should say in the description this does not support submenus because that is a hUge feature that a lot of people look for.. including myself. and i’ve sadly just spent the $$ on this and it doesn’t have it.

thanks anyways.

Well, a description is more likely used to describe what’s included (along with the screenshots and the video). And presales questions are always possible. You’re probably the first to ask for it and I often add features when they’re requested multiple times.

Hello! Your plugins seem great!

I would like to make a navigation/menu how soundcloud.com and grooveshark. I am planning to put my site’s logo, registeration/login panel and some inside site’s buttons.

Which one of your plugins will work better for this role? I want graphically to be as close as the mentioned sites. Thanks!

Hello, as you refer to “plugin”, is it for Wordpress ? If so, I don’t have any plugin for sale, all my files are made of static HTML/CSS and JS files.

Can make it Wordpress Sticky Footer?

A.

Hello, as this is not a Wordpress plugin, you’d probably need to integrate it manually in the code. I’m not experienced with WP so I can’t detail you how it can be done but if you’re not experienced, it’s probably better to look for a plugin instead.

Hi, is it possible to have it as a header instead of a footer?

regards mate, bootlip

Hello ! I guess that you’re looking for a mega menu instead…? I also have this one that can be used as a footer or as a regular mega menu :)

Hello how install this plugin?

Hello, are you trying to use this menu under Wordpress by any chance ? Because this is not a WP plugin so it can’t be “installed”.

Yes ,i want it How use for Wordpress?

As it’s not a plugin, it’s a bit more complicated. You’d need to integrate manually all the code and you wouldn’t have any backend interface to customize it.

hello, it’s possible appear the menu in top?

Hi, in that case you’d need a regular menu like this one, alternatively I have an hybrid product that can do both, you can see it here.

this menu is responsive?

Hi, not this one but you can have a look to this other footer, make sure to test the demo on mobiles to see how it behaves.

Need demo, can’t see how it functions on mobile…

This is not coded or designed for mobiles, it’s a quite old footer. This one is probably a much better option.
