The plugin needs verification, which is acceptable so people really buy it. But often, when there are updates, the plugins stops working until it's verified again. So even when you bought it, they disable the functions in the website until you verify it again. And then on their portal, they don't work with a normal login, but a username and token, which you have to reset each time. The plugins works well, but it disabled a website completely once every months and that is unacceptable.

Hello, is a real pity to have good customers like you over-reacting like this instead of asking directly for help in case of troubles. With LCweb you have direct contact with the one-and-only developer, answering in max 12 hours and caring to each customer: specially with validation system matters.
In the past year there were two problems due to server outages: one huge in the summer and a tiny one (less than 50 customers involved) in December.
Both were however useful to cover two coding flaws left over the re-validation engine: now any malformed answer is ignored. What does this mean? Plugin keep working even if LCweb server explodes.
I clearly do apologize if you were among those 50 affected in December, but you could simply re-activate the plugins usign the tokens you already have.

Translations are not working at all!!! LocoTranslate, WPML,... nothing.
The whole registration/support system is a mystery of it's own - need at least 30min to go through the whole process.
Just a waste of time with things that other solutions have it worked out in a minute.

Hello, where did you read about the "form customization" part in the pure privateContent plugin? You can create unlimited registration forms and use/mix the default fields. To extend it, it's clearly stated you need the User Data addon
Private Content is a great plugin. We had a small issue and it was solved almost immediately. Superb service!
I have used dozens of plugins so far but this one is among the best.
It works great out of the box, allowing complex setups of private areas with multiple user categories.
I have also tested one of the add-ins i.e. User Data Add-on which is rather simple and also works great.
Any professional working with several plugins know how easy it is to meet bugs and conflicts: well, PrivateContent - Multilevel Content Plugin never showed one which made my work much easier.
Also, when I had to ask some technical info to the author, he replied to me very quickly.
Higly suggested: this plugin does what promised and without hassle.
very functionally and practice for customize the content to display or available for your users. more addons for various skill. support is reactive and available for help your issue.

This is one of the best plugins I found for the purpose. Lot of features and quality coding.

Developers beware! If your developing a client site on a development server with a different domain name you will have to purchase the plugin again based on this companies policies.
I have purchased 30 some odd plugins from ThemeForest that have no such restrictions. The documentation on this policy is buried in the deep and difficult to find and their customer support could care less. If I did not have fully developed and migrated client site I would purchase another plugin with no such restrictions, I will shell out the $25 for another license as it would take more time to go back and deploy another private content plugin! Don't get caught in this B.S. find another plugin!!

It's always funny to see how certain customers prefer to harm people instead of admitting their faults
We are talking about AUTO UPDATER, no one prevents you to use the plugin on a dev environment: thousands of my customers do it. However most of them pay attention to the red warning "activate auto updater only on production".
You can always manually update the plugin, even if you made a mistake.
Your mistake, my 1-star rating: sounds fair!
