HI, is there a way to create a style that just has a colour overlay at the bottom of the image with the title of the post. So not colour over the whole image?
unfortunately in Post Revolution there isn’t a caption like this (a overlay only for title to the bottom).
But I think Flatfolio plugin could be good -> http://demo.uncommons.pro/plugins/flatfolio/post-grid/
Hi . In thinking on buy this plugging but I need to kwon first :
1. Its compatible with custom type post & taxonomies ???
2. You dint update the plugin in more than a year … Why ?? any plans of update ???
thanks for you interest on Post Revolution.
1. Unfortunately it’s not compatible with custom post types
2. We stopped update for now because we are developing themes.
will this work with blog posts and pages along with custom pages?
it works with posts, woo products and post revolution’s galleries.
Is there a setting to get the category filter buttons at the top to show up? I’m trying to create a post layout (like in the demo site) but the category filtering buttons are not showing at the top.

The fixed (not masonry) portrait image grids don’t appear perfectly aligned in some of the demos. RIO, for example – the middle column is off by a few pixels. Can you tell me if you see the same thing?
Actually, I just checked with another browser (Firefox) and it looks perfectly aligned. With Chrome, it’s slightly off.
A couple more questions:
1. If I have a lot of portrait images with slightly different sizes and ratios and if I use this fixed grid option, will the images be automatically cropped/re-sized to fit into the portrait container so they’ll all appear to be the exact same size and ratio within the grid?
2. Is there a limit to the number of posts I can set within a grid? In the Visual Composer add-on for post and masonry grids, they have a limit of 1000.
I forgot to ask: Do the grids have a pagination option?
sorry for the late on answering:
1) yes, the images are all automatically cropped to best fit in the grid
2) no, you don’t have any limit of number of post you can add to the grid
3) no, the grid doesn’t have a pagination system yet
Is it possible to have post title or other text displayed over the image before it is moused over?
unfortunately the plugin hasn’t this feature.
I’ve created this filterable post-based grid at http://www.rathfern.lewisham.sch.uk/news/ using Theme Punch Essential Grid with lots of css customisations, but I may have to move away from Essential Grid now. Will it be straightforward to recreate these using your plugin? I’m particularly after title/category/date to be present over top of featured image before you hover.
sorry for the late on answering. With post revolution you have to use the WP standard posts to create your grid and there are 30 presets and a lot of options to customize the grid. Unfortunately in the plugin it’s not included the CSS customizatio so your grid would not be exactly like the grind in the attached link.
Take a look to the 30 presets (http://demo.uncommons.pro/plugins/postrevolution/) to see if someone is good for your case.
And take a look also to the layout customization options -> http://demo.uncommons.pro/plugins/postrevolution/documentation/#chap4
It stopped working when I updated WP
Post Revolution is working with all wp versions. Please open a ticket on http://support.uncommons.pro.
Hey, I created a custom layout and enabled permalink icon but still can’t get the images to link to url’s. The option to add a url doesn’t show up when I’m creating the gallery? Any thoughts?
I have a question before buying Post revolution.
When I preview a post with the overlay function, is it possible to displaying the images which are within the post content? Or it is just the featured image and the only text content?
unfortunately you can only display the features images.
I had bought this plugin for quite some time ago, but never really used it. Now I was looking for some blog layout on my third site and I found it again in my list with downloads
I installed it an was amazed by the usability and the beuatiful display effects. I am impressed! Thanks for the great work!

pre-sale question: does it support custom-post-types? I mean, can the CPTs be shown as tabs in the Isotope script?
thanks for your interesti on Post Revolution but unfortunaltely it doesn’t support custom post types.
I am interested in purchasing your plugin but I need to know if I am able to do something first. Can both of the buttons be removed and the thumbnail of each item in the grid on click would open the ajax lightbox post content? I cant find any of your demos that show that, please advise, thanks!
unfortunately it’s not possible without a customization of code, because all events are attached to the icon buttons.
How much work would it be to implement this?
I was also wondering if I would be able to hide the link button, just show the ajax button but with a different icon (like a + or something) and center it out in the thumbnail box. If this is possible it may work!
sure it’s possible without great efforts. I think this result can be done with few CSS code -> https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/2839078/badf815a4265354ce2c71331734d0dcd
We can help you to do it using the included support without extra fee.
But if you need additional customizations you can use our Studio service here -> http://www.uncommons.pro/studio.php
Would I be able to change the size of the icon to cover most of the thumbnail and have the background of the icon be transparent instead of color to give the effect that your clicking the thumbnail?
the icon size can be increased and the bg removed by css.
