hello there how to enter rain precipitation information in mm (ex. 12mm)

Hello fabianobraga,

All the information is being returned by the API, and therefore manipulating it would require you to create a function to convert from the current format to mm.

hello, where do I put the google analytics code?

Hello,

You can add it /skin/wrapper.html

Purchased this some time ago and just getting around to using it, excellent script – hope you continue to support it in the future.

Hello Xowi,

Glad to hear that you like it. All my products are supported.

Alexandru P.

you say: change on line 39 where the $url variable is, the &culture=ro-RO but in the file line 39 is different maybe you changed something? I just want to change language thanks

Hello ricuff,

That is not available anymore as the previous API has been deprecated and a new API has been implemented.

Go to /requests/weather.php

and change:

$weather_current = $weather->get($city, 0, 0, null, null);
$weather_forecast = $weather->get($city, 1, 0, 5, null);

to:

$weather_current = $weather->get($city, 0, 0, null, 'it');
$weather_forecast = $weather->get($city, 1, 0, 5, 'it');

All the available language codes can be found at: http://openweathermap.org/current#multi

Purchased and installed, but with api when I go to api.php?city=New+York it gives me: {apiVersion”, data error ‘city’ requested is not available, make sure it’s a valid city.” } } How can I fix it?

Hello abzalassembekov,

Send me FTP access via http://codecanyon.net/user/Pricop#contact so I can have a look.

Hello joninewgroup,

That is how is currently being displayed. It only shows vertical on mobile devices.

Need to create a widget with it to show the weather data based on a location.

So I need to show the weather on another page, how can I do that?

Hello abzalassembekov,

This is not a widget but a stand-alone software. With some changes you could turn it into a widget (via iframe).

Hi! I just brought this script and it is awesome script, small yet powerful. However I am disappointed that I cant have direct link to multiple towns. Is it possible to create new index.php and name it town1.php, town2.php and to have pre-defined towns loaded with forecasts + no geo-location request?

Do you plan to add this feature or how to make it possible with current script? Thanks!

Hello RedkinG,

Thank you for your feedback. You can only search for a city at a single time, I do have another Weather Software that allows multiple cities at once, however since this is based on an API, I wouldn’t do extra requests unless they are needed.

Alexandru P.

Is there a way I can make it so the default unite is Fahrenheit rather than Celsius? I know there was a previous comment but the method their doesn’t seem to work with the newer versions.

Hello ClashCorp,

On index.php change:

elseif($_COOKIE['format'] == '') {
    $TMPL['cf'] = 'c';
    $TMPL['f'] = '1';
}

to:

elseif($_COOKIE['format'] == '') {
    $TMPL['cf'] = 'f';
    $TMPL['f'] = '0';
}

Regards,

Alexandru P.

Thanks!

How to use API?

I have this:

var text = “api.php?city=dubai”; obj = JSON.parse(text);

document.getElementById(“Weather”).innerHTML =

obj.data.location + “
” + obj.data.temperature + “
” + obj.data.skytext + “
” + obj.data.humidity + “
” + obj.data.wind + “
” + obj.data.date + “
” + obj.data.day;

but it doesnt work…

Ok,

can you provide exactly code please? :)

I have this:

<script> var text = ‘{apiVersion”, data location”, temperature”, skytext is Clear”, humidity”, wind km/h”, date”, day” } }’; obj = JSON.parse(text);

document.getElementById(“Weather”).innerHTML =

obj.data.location + “
” + obj.data.temperature + “
” + obj.data.skytext + “
” + obj.data.humidity + “
” + obj.data.wind + “
” + obj.data.date + “
” + obj.data.day;

</script>

It shows correctly, but I need to get the data directly from link, so it should be smth like this:

<script> var text = ‘http://weather.gccdaily.com/api.php?city=dubai'; obj = JSON.parse(text);

document.getElementById(“Weather”).innerHTML =

obj.data.location + “
” + obj.data.temperature + “
” + obj.data.skytext + “
” + obj.data.humidity + “
” + obj.data.wind + “
” + obj.data.date + “
” + obj.data.day;

</script>

but it doesnt work. Please provide the code how to show it.

Hello abzalassembekov,

Sorry but you’re asking support for a custom code which is not part of the PHP Weather Forecast Script.

Alexandru P.

Can you explain how to use API for non programmers?

How to show the temperature,city and etc. on another web page?

Is posible display latest searched?

Hello servidir,

If you need to show the latest searches, check this one: http://codecanyon.net/item/php-weather-script/3631437

Hello, it would be good to have in script translate option, for example Clear sky, Few clouds, Light rain, Wednesday, Thursday – all this can be easily put in array and than be used for translation

Hello dymytrov,

The OpenWeatherAPI allows translation into certain language (available on their website), take a look here: http://codecanyon.net/item/php-weather-forecast-script/4386421/comments?page=4#comment_9766846 for an example.

Hi is it possible to make it look horizontal version as snapshots and not like the demo ? http://world-weather-report.com/

Hello joninewgroup,

In the screen-shot, the vertical version is the responsive design for mobile devices.

Regards,

Alexandru P.

Hello there! I think something went wrong with the script, last week it stoped working :( Could you take a look? Maybe the service where you gather the data changed it’s code… Thanks!

Hello wbarros,

Everything works fine. Make sure you’re running the latest version and also that your OpenWeatherMap account has API requests left.

Regards,

Alexandru P.

any plan for A “French” Version

Hello eric2011,

It can already be translated into french pretty easily as the current API does support “fr” language.

Regards,

Alexandru P.

Hello, do you support Arabic/RTL ?

Hello dailytrip,

The software does not have RTL support out of the box. For that you would need to edit the CSS and translate it in your language.

Regards,

Alexandru P.

Hello I want the plugin, I wanted to know if there is any way to add it as a widget in wordpress showing one day

Hello mjtonini,

This is not a plugin but a stand-alone product. It can’t be used as a widget.

Alexandru P.

I want to understand that this script pulls data from openweathermap and caches/stores it on our server ? then we can use our website and offer a API for other third party sources ?

Hello timelord77,

This software does fetch data from openweathermap, but it does not store it. Weather is very dynamic and can change from hour to hour so caching it wouldn’t really be very reliable.

Regards,

Alexandru P.

OK. so if I want to use the data in my mobile app, there is no advantage of using this script ?
